Hey Joe Satriani! i just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I was looking through insane solos on youtube and your name poped up so i checked it out and i was literaly blown away! ive been teaching myself to play guitar for a little over a year now and ive got a lot of musical influence in my family, my dad was in a lot of cover bands and my mom and her brothers all play various musical instruments but nothing really blew me away like listening to some of your songs. They made me go get my guitar and immidiately try to play something wild and extreme. Your influence helped me write a song that I believe is amazing and im going to try to start a band to play it! so i just wanted to thank you for your influence and your ability to kick ass in peoples lives because its really inspiring. so thank you!

Skippygirl: I wish, it's on the college radio. We nearly have a website though, so I'll link to that when it gets set up. Nothing great, but it's early days, so onwards and upwards!
Ibadaz: Well, if I can get hold of the G3 version, I'll play it! Hendrix=check. Got Little Wing and 'Haze in the pipeline ( got to play something vaguely recognisable...) And, I wish, this is an educational establishment. I'd probably be given a severe talking to if I played anything with fook in it :)

Hi, I am lucky enough to own a JS2PRM, and have noticed that there is one for sale on ebay for a large amount of cash. That aside, the guy is claiming that only 36 of these were ever made and not the 60 as previously thought. He says that 8 of these went to Joe. Can anyone shed any light on whether this is correct. Cheers

sounds like a bit of a random thing yet precise to say, but i don't really know why Joe would need 8 of one guitar, he keeps all of his collection of guitars in one place aparently, him n mike go over to check em out now and again i remember reading or hearing somewhere before

Wow, it must be like a year at least since I was here!!! So how is everyone? What's new in Satchland?

And, perhaps most importantly, what's the album with the longest title in the world like?

Hello World,

This week, the US Senate is debating if it will set up an independent inquiry into Bush?s War on Terror! Such an investigation could have massive global consequences, and if properly set up would have the power to fully investigate torture, secret prisons and cover ups attributed to the CIA and the US Department of Justice. A decision could be made as early as this week. If enough of us around the world make clear to the US Government that we support an effective and powerful inquiry - we could tip the debate. Hello Canada, UK and Australia,

You people have admonished and chided the United States about taking responsibility for our government, constitution and actions to make this a more peaceful and just planet. With a new President in the White House and a resolve and will to show the world what we are really made of we will move into an open and honest dialog about what we are doing and where we need to be going on the International Road to Progress in the 21st Century. I understand this will take great humility, listening with a heightened awareness and a wider view of our world and the place we occupy as one of many countries on this planet. We are servants to one another. Let me take my place as a servant and steward of Planet Earth. Let's make beautiful music together!

Jayzus man, stop! There are people out there that are fighting with everything they've got to see their next birthday, and yer fighting with everything you got against it. THINK about it! It's a feckin gift!

I'm just really wondering why the people who don't want birthdays anymore can't give them to people who do. Birthdays = LIFE! I just can't stand to hear one more negative thing about turning another year older ffs! I just don't fuckin get it.

Anyways, to everyone who's had a birthday in the past week, I hope it was great - as it should be. Be proud of your age, whatever it is, because every year is a blessing.

Sorry for the blow-out, but life it to precious to piss all over it.
