CommodoreDrake - You ever get your paranormal group down to Oklahoma? Parnormal is a fascinating subject. You'll have to keep us posted when your documentary is complete.

SuperSwingDog, starting the group didn't involve any red tape. Becoming a business does. I've asked myself many times why exactly I want it to become a business. The truth is I want to be able to dedicate all of my time to the paranormal rather than just my out of day job hours. To do that I need to make money doing it so I can support my family. The investigators on my team have the same needs. However, I refuse to charge anyone that wants us to investigate for them. So the money has to come from other sources. The easiest way would be through donations, hence the non-profit thing. The hardest way is through entertainment venues.

Though to be sure it's only hard for me because I approach this with a high standard of integrity. So that makes selling documentaries, books, and lectures a little bit harder because it shows how boring this actually is. The investigative process is exceptionally boring and it's only exciting when you find something. Well we don't always find stuff. So we could fake like the groups with reality shows and some other famous paranormal people. Or we stay true to ourselves and go the hard road.

As for stories I've got a few that I can share. My favorite is from Fredericksberg Virginia. We went there a few years ago for a convention and got a chance to investigate the Civil War battle field. It was an intense experience. Inside of a house on the field I stood to the side of a doorway generally just watching everyone and got a sudden pain in my back like someone had hit me with a seldge hammer or something. I reached back to rub my back and my fingers rubbed against a bullet hole in the wall. I moved one of my other people in front of it without telling her anything and she had the same experience.

Outside on the battle site we could hear drum cadences, gun fire, and yelling. You could also smell smoke, and what I call death. A sickly sweet smell that is really rather nauseating.

We shouldn't have had any of these smells as it was pouring rain and there was no wind moving. All of that is what we would call a residual haunting. Just something that replays due to the intense emotions of the event.

I'm quickly running out of room but I have lots of other stories. Hybes, we'll be in Oklahoma sometime this summer. I don't remember the name of the town though. I have to get back into contact with the person setting it up.

"oh ya not really a marley fan, bob dylan, jimi hendrix etc!!! i know most people are!! i really grew up on Guns and roses i loved slash!! then i heard about joe and ive always been into guitar..."

I have to agree to that; a lot of people think I'm nuts for being a guitarist who does not idolise Hendrix, but I've built up a li'l concept for my argument.

I see famous guitarists in generations; Hendrix, Clapton and Beck (and loads others who I forgot or havn't heard of) I label as being 1st generation (rock) guitarists who developed their own unique and signature sounds with the guitaro. Satchy, Vai, Petrucci, Johnson, Gilbert (etc) I see as second generation guitarists, who were influenced heavily by 1st generation guitarists and used that influence to develope their own unique sound. I aspire to become a 3rd gen. guitarist, drawing most of my inspiration from 2nd gen (most specifically Satchy) guitarists to develope my own style and sound. I use this theory to draw influences and expand my own technique. It's a tad silly, but it's all just for fun, haha!

That said, I don't only enjoy 2nd gen. guitarists, I also really like Clapton, and I respect Hendrix, but I don't like Hendrix enough to go out and actively listen to his music.

I better get down to work if I wanna be a 3rd gen. Haha!

JS10th and JS2:

Guys I hope no-one bid on that JS10th (501) that was on ebay, I have a feeling it was a scam, I asked for escrow and didn't get a response so I didn't bid.

Also, there's one under the title JS2PRM on at the moment for $37,000 - the facts on the page are quite incorrect. I don't think anyone here would pay that much for that guitar. It is potentially collectable, but not for that much I recon.

Master Yoda:Wow congrats bro big changes all round, great t hear yer makin coin from teaching geetar 2! Busy days here, unfortunately one of the 15% & rising unemployed in Spain but its worked out pretty good as me n the missis now have a 15 month old boy n as y may know that comes with constant colds n flu from kiddy picking up virus from the creche bringin it home n well everyone gets it so i,d have been screwed t work in construction anyway with min strength.I knew the economy here was in a bad way b4 this crisis took hold from watching so many let go at work so took the opertunicity t go back t college n train t be a sparky, passed my diploma & currently sifting my way through the troves of people lined up at the jobcentre, nearly another 170,000 lost work last month alone! for the size of Spain that is a LOT o peep

On a major learning curve with my 2nd cd, apart from a decent recording setup and various software t fathom, thinking like other musicians is a bit odd in midiland especially if yer a guitarist, programming drum & orchestral parts is a real-time sponge so i,ve promised myself should there be a 3rd cd in the future it will be live, bollox t this mouse click death

btw have y heard from Clarky recently?
