but i am kinda bored seen the same songs and the same people that keep saying there 13 years old watch this, or the "GIRL GUITARIST SHREDZ" videos with the comments from every guy on youtube saying wow thats amazing whats your msn

I just got an email from Pontiac (I guess they kept my address from when I was car shopping several years ago) telling me about their new car, the.........:

Pontiac G3

I thought that was kinda funny.

Satriella - Thanks for asking about Chinese Democracy...I actually meant to say something about that, but I forgot.

I've actually only listened to it once, the day it came out. I've been meaning to give it another spin, though...so when I do I'll let you know what I think.

roo - I know you created it for me, but I'm not sure I actually added my name to the "no to Chickenfoot" list.

I still don't entirely like the name...argh. My biggest gripe is that the name was there before Satch was even a part of the project. But oh well...it doesn't matter what it's called, in the end. ;-)

rebeccabeck1977 - I'm sorry to hear about your father, but it's good to hear that you have moments like the one you shared that you can remember...

Welcome to the site, by the way...I don't know if you're much of a Satriani fan on your own, outside of your dad, but feel free to join in the conversations here.

Listening to: Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic (current song: No More No More)

ibanez-god - thanks for that info, will give a few songs a try both strumming and picking. Hope the work situation improves soon.

Dream3 - LOL don't think it would be worth me lugging the geetar to a show yet! But would be great to hang out in line with other T2Jers who can play.

Ha ha... it's Pancake day... I won't start that one up again, but Joe - hope you enjoyed some Bettey's Oatmeal Pancakes! That's something I should have tried out whilst in the US.

Anibur - what were you celebrating? Strangely enough Joe wasn't no 1 on the list, but having Joe's big influence at 1 sits well with me

Cheese-inator - you can now give the CP covert op some serious thought, ha ha. As for my singing, I sing at concerts. I'm an awesome concert singer ; ) Definitely will squeeze in a few more days, and prolly a day or two off work before hand as well (that can't have helped either).

Maritime/Blue Moon - thanks for the cable info. Still haven't had chance to try the PW cable yet. Will have a look at those others too, thanks

JS1200JS1000 - seriously, white? I know in the early days his promos had white 540S's (I think) but that was deffo a JS series and surely just a JS1BK with silver paint pen? I have (or more likely had) an article from back then with Joe describing it. Interesting either way...

Michelle - yep, agree. The thing that bothers me with these legends or greats polls is JS is never in them. But at the same time, it's normally a bunch of my fave tracks so it's not all bad : ) I would like to be a fan of not doing dishes too - it truly wrecks the guitar playing bits!?

Igneous - I may have dribbled on my laptop over some.... kidding! I think I should have bought the previous model I liked as it seems the prices have doubled so that's me out! I seem to remember his training was always based around peaking in July... I take it you're talking clipless for a road bike (new shoes)?

Do The Stu - interesting (about Beck). I'm sure I can recall some negative comments from Joe (which only sprung from comments from Jeff)... but then again, it could all have been gossip. Interesting point re Slash. Maybe ask them to sign something of their's (CP) but in a JS tour shirt? PS, I think you should add your name to the NOT chickenfoot list ; )

Glitzman - what sort of training do you do? It can't be just running surely? You must have some variety so share if you feel like it? Stay well

Roo - where was the JS3 for sale? I'd love to take a look, they're my fave. Also, any idea how much it went for?

rebeccabeck1977 - sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family

Cube - you posted a link to Al's favourite site. I really like your cover, regardless of it being a cover. Maybe this version should be released - it'll probably chart higher!

Happy Birthday Chrispy

Nite all

Austin, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I could not access my work schedule from home over the weekend... I am free saturday night so I'll be going to the concert... Idk what time you are planning to head over there, but I should be out of work around five-ish...
Maybe I should go buy a ticket before it sells out... Is it a big venue?

Glitzman: Click here Glitzman! cdbaby.com/abovetn should do it. There are three albums up since 2003. The last one is a tribute to Jonny Cash'es sound just before he died. Enjoy. More to come. Randell DCK: Your welcome. With all that has happened there's no reason to press people. Thahks for even concidering us ( all us t2jers) for the next project. JOE: CHICKENFOOT! Yea baby!

cosmic_ape - You should buy your ticket ASAP...the show is at the House Of Blues on Sunset, so the capacity is probably only around 1,000. Here's a link for you:

http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0900417D9C164150

We should also plan on eating at the venue, since we'll get let in early by doing that. It's a bit pricey (something like $10-$12 for a hamburger and fries, to name one item), but being inside first makes it worth it. I know this particular HOB takes dinner reservations because it doesn't open until 5 p.m. They're probably already full, but in the past I've just sat at the bar and ordered dinner...it's easy to walk right in and do that.

I'm at work now, but I'll email you later with more specific info. Go ahead and buy your ticket now, though. You'll probably have to have it held at will call since the show date is so close, but I can hold a spot in line for you while you're getting that straightened out on the show night.
