Just listened to the 2 new tracks also. I have to say though, as much as I hate it, is that it's basically VH with Joe playing AWMAWY/Raspberry Jam Delta V - Satriani Live! jam at the end, haha (Soap On A Rope).

I did think that was the sound I was going to get.

I may be a dedicated Joe fanatic, and I will always love his work, but I have to be realistic and say that what I've heard of Chickenfoot isn't breaking any new ground a la momente.

PROVE ME WRONG, JOE!

Hello People of the Foot!

We have a lot of very cool stuff coming your way that we'll tell you more about later, but for now the important thing is simply this:

We have released two songs from the new album for you to listen to now!

Click here (the play link appears after the video finishes or you press STOP)

The two songs are "Soap On A Rope" and "Down The Drain" and we know you are going to be blown away by 'em. We've enabled it so you can put them onto your Myspace page and it is also on our Facebook page. We also have some other updates coming, including something special from Mike, Sammy, Joe and Chad.

You are our core first fans, and we will continue to treat you to these goodies, always letting you know first! Please continue to do what you do in spreading the word where you hang out, let people know to come and sign up on the email list, and embed that widget as there is going to be new videos coming into it in the coming weeks!

I'ma smack yer bumzie missie, don't think not!!!! You can't run fast enuff, OR far enuff to escape the wrath of the cheese....even if it's frickin OLD cheese.....I know where u live!!

lol....I was wondering today, if when he turned 50, it had any impact on Joe other than just another birthday. He was prolly so busy anyway...but the people around him I'm betting made it a celebration :) Everyone keeps saying to me "oooooohhhh, this is the BIG ONE!!"

Well....what makes 50 any different really from 49, 51 or 27? It's the anniversary of the day I first caused me poor lil mum a LOT of pain, lol.....pain in the ass, so to speak, right from the very beginning :) Birthdays should be a time to celebrate the mums!!

AWESOME!

I found a co-worker with headphones and I was able to listen on my dinner break. I like Soap On A Rope more, but Down The Drain is the one that's stuck in my head right now...

I'll have more in-depth comments later tonight. But for now, I love this stuff! :-)

Mc Alan--You are still my favorite luni and you play amazing guitar! I like yer purple one--royalty I guess ;-)

Chee--I don't doubt Joe has something planned for yer birthday 'cause you are such a great fan!

CHICKEN FOOT---Wow! Sammy, Joe, Mike and Chad--what a great super-sonic band! I like "down the drain" because it sounds so here and now.........I also like "soap on a rope" because of the Sammy factor. It reminds me of Sammy's Van Halen!! Joe's guitar gives me goose bumps and sounds so strong and warm!

Happy B Day everybody who HAS a B day!!...I just got home from a long day of work , poped open the CHICKENFOOT email.....And I STILL cannot wipe the smile from my face........Joe ...what an incredible sound!!....THIS is gonna be big folks!!

I think I like Soap on a Rope best...but it is hard to choose.....Man...I'll have to take 3 Tylenol PMs to go to sleep after that...I am PUMPED BABY!!

SCUBADAZ...I agree with you about Summer Song. Just last week I got into listening to Summer Song over and over in my Tundra,...I am sure I will wear the little arrows off my back up button listening to the solo. But for 2-3 weeks prior I was listening to the solo in "Mindstorm". This week I had Crystal Planet with me. My grandson 2 and a half yrs. loves the title track. He is also fond of "Time"

Goodnight all!!...It's a wonderful life!!...CHICKEN FOOT...YEAH BABY!!
