JOE! I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!

I was in Sanfran in October as you know. I was looking at getting an additional guitar with the thought I could get it painted white and ask if I could leave it with you to doodle all over it when you had time in the studio, and then seal it to keep. I thought a white guitar with black satch sketches would look awesome...

AND WHAT DID I SEE ON THE CHICKENFOOT VID!

Man, that is very cool. A WHITE DOG! .... When is Ibanez gonna put that into production! I want #1 from the limited editions please... :)

Roo...did you ever see pics of the guitar Joe did for the Dimebag tribute? It was a white guitar with black drawings all over it. I think they auctioned off those guitars eventually, but I'm not 100% certain on that. It's a one-of-a-kind.

Slan...I may never pee at a concert again, thanx....lol!

Plus, as chelle said, the line to the girls bathroom is gonna get lots longer now, dammit. Joe...didya think of that when u decided to do Chickenfoot? Didn't that factor in at ALLLL???

HAHAHA - yes it was left with some knights, but they kept asking for more shrubberies and changing their names......

No I didn't see that white guitar before. Or maybe I did and didn't remember it, but thought I had thought it up.... Oh no....

I'd better do some research....

I love my Crystal Planet - fantastic fun the play and damn heavy.

My granddad would be proud, it was always the heavy things that were good value and well built as far as he was concerned.

DoTheStu...I think the problem is our $10 a month NetZero service. I can watch some YouTube stuff if I wait the half an hour it takes to play. Then I just replay it but have a lousy image. A lot won't play at all. And music? Forget it. Streaming music just stutters and then just quits altogether. I don't know what you mean as far as bandwidth etc...I'm just an Irish workgrunt with passable computer knowledge.

burly....I agree with you on the Trem issue. I damn near pulled my hair out trying to figure mine out. Still do occasionally. But it's worth it..

Is it just me, or does Joe's playing sound slightly different on Down the Drain? It seems somehow, different, to normal. Perhaps it's the fact that he's 'constrained' slightly by Sammy, and so has to restrict what he does. Certainly makes what he does play count though...:)

Burly: I have NEVER read a more awkward description of changing strings on a trem in my life. When removing the strings unlock the lock, detune from the smallest to biggest to not snap any strings, remove them all, repalce from biggest to smallest adding some tention with each string, once locked down into the trem unit tune to pitch(even if you use a alternative tunning) watching to see if the tension returns the trem to flat, then lock down the strings after streaching them lightly, retune to pitch, then lock down the string locks. Fine tune to pitch one last time with the fine tuners. Should take a half hour tops. Works every time. It is not important to repalce one string at a time and retune to pitch each string! Some use this to keep the trem from breaking strings. Ask your self.....how do they replace a trem with out removing all the strings at once? Was I any help?
