Skippygirl - Yeah, Roswell is the alien place. There really isn't much to see there today, though, and it's a few hours out of the way of everything else so I'm not sure it's worth going to. We'll see, though...

I'll probably put about 2,000 miles on my car over the four days, but that doesn't bother me too much (and it's not required, like it apparently is in Australia...crazy!). I really do love driving. Actually, I got the idea for the trip when I realized that if I stayed at home for that time off all I'd do is sit here and listen to music. So instead, I'll sit in my car and listen to music...while actually going somewhere.

burly - You should do what you can to go see Chickenfoot in St. Louis, even if they're playing a show that's closer to you. Sammy Hagar is HUGE in St. Louis, so I'm sure any show there would be a good one. My parents are from that area, and most of my relatives still live there, so I'm actually thinking of flying out for a show there...
Igneousiceman - Nice...what do you think of Chords Of Life? That was my favorite song when I first got SBM. You Saved My Life was another early favorite. What Breaks A Heart is one of the top songs for me now, although it took a while for me to "get".

My favorite songs from those sessions would be Slick, which is available on Joe's Anthology album...you don't have that yet, do you?

SuperSwingDog - I actually think I've been to Zion National Park, about 10 years or so ago.

Your suggestions are really making things difficult for me...I was planning on going way east and you're making me want to go mroe north. Thanks... ;-)

Scuba - I still wouldn't call a thresher an agressive shark though.....? They're shy. I'll have to go read up on that, interesting

Slansh - not heard of that before but that's an awesome idea. Is this a well known trick or a slansh invention. Will try it cos bl**dy hell did they seem to have some stamina!

Igneous - you so confused me I'm not sure if I'm posting this or not. 47 miles hey, road or mtb? I did a full stage distance once (alone) but am nowhere near that fitness level at the mo. Warming up with the Lance strength training though. Do you have a turbo trainer?

Cube - aw, no need to be like that. He loves you, not the other way round, that's obvious ; )

D_O_M - nice article. LMAO though at "shots taken by photographer John Cuniberti"... that's not his day job!

Chelley - how's sis (forgot that in my longer post, soz)?

Pip Satrini:- haven't done any big game fishing as such, but in this neck of the woods you can catch most big game type fish of the rocks! My neighbour went fishing off the rocks last weekend and he hooked up on a couple of monster tuna only to have them bitten in half by some dirty big Great White sharks. He was both disappointed and thrilled at the same time coz some of the sharks were actually breaching only about 30 to 40 feet away from where he was as they attacked the fish. Next time, I'm going with him and taking my camera to try and get some photo's.THAT would be f@#%ing awesome! C'MON AUSSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

"Whispering a Prayer is probably the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever played in my life," says Vai. "Every time I play it, I'm overcome by feelings of freedom and happiness."

"Whispering a Prayer (Song for Ireland)"

CRANK IT!

I'm damn near blowin' out my speakers at the moment ;-)

Do the Stu - You're a big DMB fan. What would you say their best live album is? They seem like they would be a better live band than studio band.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

JSPhil: Road...(would love to meet someone who could do that distance off road) Not bad for a few hours riding. Lance strength training? Sounds, tough...I've used a turbo a few times (and have one) but I never seem to be able to get the time when I could make using it worth it and not just go out anyway.

Hey I just picked up a Peavey Windsor Halfstack off of Music 123.com for $399 with free shipping. I also found out about a MF mailed out for a Rocktrom Cyborg delay pedal for only $1 more! Thats right Music123 are giving free shipping(which is a mistake) but its still posted on their site. Mention coupon code"Dollar" and you get the Rocktron delay for a dollar, it gets free shipping along with the Windsor. This is a great deal folks. May take some work on the phone on your part, as it did for me. But you end up with a great deal. I dont think this deal is going to last. Hopefully somebody finds this useful Peace

llucas, if this is the screaming you hear in yer head, just turn off the radio.

If THIS is the scream yer hearing, yer in trouble.

Pip, my sis is doing pretty good, thanks. She has some scary moments where body parts on her left side go numb for 10 to 15 minutes, but then it goes back to normal. She was going to call the doc to see if that's normal, but I forgot to ask her when I talked to her. Hopefully I'll get to take her out for a walk tomorrow.

scubadaz, youtube is going to hell in a handbasket! They're taking off a lot of the best videos. I had this one saved to my favs, and they took it down...but I found it again :-) They took down most of the video format vids (like u see on tv) that were awesome, and left up the live stuff.

Just dig those dancers! lmao!!

Cosmic_ape--Thanks for the origin of the song Sleep Walk....I knew it had to be written back when I was a wee girl. Also you have great taste in music....must be something you picked up on the magical, musical road to Joe Satriani.
