You know it's kind of strange that most Americans will never travel outside the borders but in other countries it is very common. I never really thought about it but in some of the small landlocked countries travel outside is very common.

Travel prices are more affordable now if you are fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of it.

On the subject of Sammy playing with all of these great guitarists, I noticed how being around Edward influenced his playing style a bit. Satch will surely rub off on him a bit as well.

Arkansas actually has a lot of beautiful scenery and attractions, I live in the edge of the Ozark mountain range. I can leave my house toward the East and in 5 minutes be into the flat land which is where I farm. I grew up in the flats in the mosquitoes and mud. Finally I wised up and moved to high ground.
How 'bout the guys from th U.K., Netherlands and Mc over in Ireland? Are you guys in the city or out in the country? And Fatape I forgot about you being from down under.

Skippygirl..Mexico has become so dangerous because of the drug murders that even the popular Spring break resorts are almost deserted this year. I think I would like to visit some of the other parts maybe to the south.

On the subject of traveling outside of the country I've quite a few places I'd love to visit. I consider myself a bit of a historian and there are so many places with such great history that if I had the money I'd go visit them all. On the top of my list is Ireland, Scotland, and England. Then Vietnam and Germany. Vietnam and Germany would be for the military history. I'd like to visit the concentration camps in Germany and really all over Europe, and I'd like to see some of the tunnels that the NVA used in Vietnam.

From a paranormal standpoint those places are sure to be "haunted" maybe not actively but I'm sure that if you stand there you can get a sense of everything that went on there. I think that's something that everyone should experience at least once. Not for any morbid reason but it might hopefully make people a little more thoughtful and mindful of making sure history doesn't repeat itself.

That's just me though.

burly:- I currently live in a place called Nelson Bay,which is part of the Port Stephens area of NSW. If you are a big game fishing enthusiest you'll know all about us. For those who don't,we are the home of the oldest, longest running and biggest open water fishing tournements on the planet. Just last weekend we had some monster sharks captuered, alongside some rather large marlin. And we also have to contend with bluebottles, box jellyfish, seasnakes, stonefish and blue-ringed octopus in our waters to name a few. Yet,regardless of all the deadly critters both large and small, there is nowhere else on this planet that i would rather call home. Now, I'm off to hunt me some kangawallafoxes! C'MON AUSSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone see Sammy on MTV Cribs? He was saying how private the beaches were near Cabo and his home, and I was like..Shhhh! It will be like the story they did on Montana being the last great wilderness in the U.S. Soon, city folks began moving in to get away from the hustle and bustle then began building malls and shopping centers.

scubadaz:- I personally don't condone overfishing of any species, and even if it's a world record size fish, I prefer the tag and release method.Port Stephens has one of the best fishing sanctuary and conservation program's going, though there are still some uncaring idiots out there. But the majority of people, especially the locals, are more than happy to help keep our marine ecology in good shape for future generations to enjoy. Scuba:Steve made a mistake & paid in full with his LIFE t bring people a program that kept many on the edge of their seats, if the man is dead its PARTLY because viewer ratings rocketed, which means boiled down "the viewers fault" for loving the danger he put himself in.The man had the balls t put himself in dangerous positions while everyone else kicked back in TV land...I applaud that, great guy, hell of a man *slan claps*

I look back and fondly recall the music of the 70s and 80s. As a small child I recall having a huge crush on Janis Joplin. I had never seen her mind you, but fell in love with her voice. When I had hair in the 80s I had a shoulder length mullet and as a band in high school wore bandana scarves and parachute pants. The girls had bright clothes and leg warmers and swept back hair with Calvin Klein jeans. Mmmm those were the days..I never imagined myself looking back and saying that.

scubadaz - I've always said, If a shark comes into my backyard, I'm gunna have me a dead shark real soon. For the simple reason, I recon that's pretty well what he'd be thinking, if I was in his backyard.
That's why I just don't do water. Beside that, fish f@#k in that stuff....
This has to be asking for trouble.

Michelle, Tracie, Cube, McKenna;

I just want to give my blessing to A McKenna and M London and hope they can enjoy time together whether it be at a tea house, pub (such as Rosie McCanns in Santa Cruz or San Jose) or other meeting place of their choice.

Maritime--I am enjoying Marc Resch's book. I am now reading about the great engineering projects built over the last 5 or 6 centuries. The Netherlands is like California only the opposite when it comes to water abundance/scarcity. I think Cali could learn from Holland about how to manage water and engineer waterways according to our scarcity and drought conditions.

Joe--Why do I think I can take on more than is physically possible for me? That's how I set myself up for failure and deepen my depression. I know you are a musician and not a psychiatrist, but I know you have been through so much in life and may have some idea. I can only wish Tuesdays Child my best wishes and hope she and her children are well. Also, don't go the road alone....please accept help along the way.

GoldenGirl2
