Joe! Im traying to practic every free moment, but they are so little.I have been out of playing for 17 years, sins I get married,so now Im looking out for my children or Im at on work. I regret that I didnt choose music to be my profesion but I will catch up.I sold my first guitar, Corean bad copy of Gipson and now I by Godin and Im back on the horse.Watching you playing guitar is so inspiring and chalenging and frustrating ha ha ha .I hope that you will give me some direction and curage to go on.Im not god in English and langvig barrier making me dificult to comunicate, for that I apolagise

Chee101--What would we do without you? I guess we would be missing our main ingredient--your T sense of the world.....a great heart and soul to keep us on the path.
I was listening to STRANGE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC this morning. It's such a great collection of Joe's masterpieces. My faves are Starry Night, Sleep Walk (sounds so familiar from the 1960s), Mountain Song, Hill Groove and You Saved My Life!! What powerful music! Thank you, Joe....
And thank you Jeff Campitelli for backing up Joe with a great rhythm, keeping that tempo right on and having fun with Joe and all those great musicians like Stu and Matt and Galen!
The curly, twirly thing that Robert Plant was taking about at the Grammies is demonstrated in Joe's music especially the song Searching. I didn't know guitars could make bubbling sounds until I listened to Joe's and Steve Vai's guitars!

..heyyou do have sear`s in the states dont you man.You know something buddy this place is killeryou know man they have the best stuff man like i mean as far as i know it all functions and lasts along time I guess weider is done their run huh! yeah if you dont get them on their run you dont get any they have this other weight set man 100 pounder 59.99 made in U.S.A im sure their good man they have this 400 pound weight set and bench in their for 300 dollars cheap hey anhhh but not realy you can buy weider olympic steel for 300 dollars my work out was good after though i was gonna faint or some shit yeah man right now my flu shot is working i ont know if you have ever tried to do anything when your vaccine is working but it,s like your sick little dillarious like sick but its the vaccine blocking! so basiclay i felt flu like when i was working out everyone should work outlike all i rember was my weights were missing panicing going paranoid then picking up a sears catalouge and voila right becca man well you need strength like guys do girls well girls have like built in strengths guys have testicles they take strength away and stuffis actualy what they do if you heard anything else you heard wrongsummers coming have to keep strong property maintenace around this place oh you know you have to bench press to cut the lawn hahaha!i just like to be strong it,s good for you atleast i think so sears has good deals buddy 59.99 for a weight setmade in usa to get strong this place is unbelievable candian tire has nice yorks to i think 59.99 or something i think this sears one is bit bigger anyways later wolf2.

Thanks for the help Scubadaz..The link is not working for some reason. I thought Maritime might be interested in trying to catch some of his appearances nearby. You should check him out as well. I didn't realize how close to the The Netherlands you are. I need to brush up on my Geography. When you live in the U.S. you think of going to another state, I forget about you guys being all clustered up over there.

You get this by typing like this, only using the [ and ] for the brackets instead of the ( ) I'm using to demonstrate....

See.....substitute brackets [ and ] for the parentheses ( and ) and type everything else exactly the same and there you have it. There's only one space in the whole thing, and that's after the word link....and where I typed the words the band link....is where you can say whatever you want...name it, make a sentence...anything as to what the link is about. Hope that helps!

Just listening to a couple of my old Bad Company cds today. Holy Water and Dangerous Age. I forgot how much I liked the Brian Howe era of Bad Co. Of course you'll never replace Paul Rodgers but they had some good music with Howe.

I dunno about gatekeepers...I think at least fer me I get to a point of being pissed off and finally email Jon about it, lol....otherwise...this is Joe's forum, he and Jon are really the only gatekeepers here. According to what Jon said, he got quite a lot of emails begging him for help over the annoyance....
No one here is any more special than any other person, we're all fans of Joe's and have that in common. I laugh when I see someone post that they are Joe's biggest fan cuz how do they know they are?? Nothing really distinguishes one person from another unless they become rabid, LOL....
Some of us (like me) have a whole lotta nuthin to say and say it regularly, LOL!!
The nice thing is, there's enuff Joe to go around for everyone, through his music and fun personality, his intelligence and huge love for what he does. He has that special "something" and we all gravitate towards it together :)

burly, you've almost got it...go back and edit that post...
replace every parenthesis symbol with a bracket and it will work... change out all ( for [ and ) for ]

It's a very cool day when you check your e-mail and see messages from Satriani AND Dream Theater. It almost makes up for having a network switch burn out and a whole telecomm closet lose power due to construction...
BURLY: Regarding your English as a second language questions, in my particular case I live across the border from the US (I can literally see Texas from my son's bedroom), and here English is considered a needed skill, kids study it since elementary. It also depends on the quality of the teachers you come across and the effort u put into it, but it is certainly not a hobby or an afterschool activity for us. And it's like that in many other parts of the world.
And while it is tempting to go into a discussion about how the US views the rest of the world, we shall leave that for another forum. This is not the place :)
