Wow I've been away for awhile. Stuffs been really busy here lately. Still trying to find a good local band to do the music for my paranormal group's documentary. Still haven't found one that impresses me and it doesn't help that I'm really just wanting instrumental not that interested in vocals.

Most local bands here do the Blues and that's not quite the way I'm wanting to go. Good thing I still have plenty of time since the music and voice overs are the last things we'll be editing into it.

I wish we had the financial resources to get Joe to do the music for us, that's the type of sound I'm wanting but so far nobody here has been able to pull it off. Oh well I get to keep looking. I've heard some good music though, some of these people do have talent just not the right sound.

Other than that I've been working on a book, and taking care of my cat after she got spayed. She's doing good now. Also trying to maintain sanity cause the kids are getting major cabin fever and the weather here can't quite decide if it wants to be spring or winter.

So that's what I've been doing. I am looking forward to Chickenfoot and hoping they come close to me while on tour.

Speaking of Aerosmith, Joe Perry not being a virtuoso type guitarists, I still really like his unique style and phrasing. J.P. is one of the players I would love to see team up with Satch at least on stage for a duet to see what each brought out of the other.

I would also like to see Satch and David Gilmore do similar on something slow and gritty. It is interesting sometimes to see musicians of different styles perform together. Many times you see sides of each player you may never have seen.

Satriella--All those guys that wanna get layed.........Don't they have anything better to do? I guess they have to make sure their bits work....I guess that's it. The Scottish men have great accents, especially when they say "Early" and the kilts show off the handsome hairy legs. These are great places to carpet kiss!!!!!!! Carpet kissing is sure a hell of a lot better than "carpet bombing" don't ya think?? Make love not war and all that old fashioned stuff. Has making love gone out of fashion?????

The Chickenfoot podcast is awesome...I never thought I'd hear Joe say the words "you go from Get It Up to Sexy Little Thing" in my life. ;-)

Sammy said something about Joe's bass player being sick before the PSATMOR tour? I guess that was the "scheduling conflict" with Brad that led to us getting Stu?

I'm glad to hear Sammy say he thinks his best lyrics are here...after listening to Soap On A Rope and Down The Drain countless times, I think his lyrics are the weakest part. So I look forward to being surprised on the rest of the album.

And we have another former Planet Us song...Learning To Fall. So that's four songs from that band that we know of now.

Tommy Aldridge is a great drummer...I saw him in Ted Nugent's band, opening for Kiss in 2000. And sure enough, you just mentioned that in another post.

Onto Joe Perry...I like his playing a lot, and I think it'd be very cool to hear him do something with Satch. I know they've crossed paths at festivals and so on, but I think the closest they've come to playing together is both having songs on the Merry Axemas album.

I know Satch has been at a few Les Paul birthday parties / benefit gigs...I wonder if he's ever jammed with Joe Perry at one of those.

Austin- I saw the same Kiss /Nugent tour in Memphis but did not realize it was 9 years ago..PHweeew!!

I just ordered 7 Joe Satriani CDs today!! More about this later. Joe, I shared info about Chicken Foot with my podiatrist!! LOL! Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing you guys in Mountain View, San Jose or San Francisco this year. Please let us know when you will be in the Western USA with Sammy, Mike, and Chad. Please.
