Burly - I saw AC/DC on their Fly on the Wall tour in Portland Me, I think in 86. The tickets were 12 bucks!! Those were the good ole days.

I saw Great White opening for Whitesnake for 14. I saw a lot of good shows in the 80s for under 15 dollars. Everyone use to share the bud too!! Not that I partook in such activities in the 80's. But I remember. =)

Great story Scuba,..You were young and probably didn't mind the sleepover...As badly as I would like to see the Stones, I will not pay that much for a ticket...I just will not.

Hybes.......What's bud?..;-)...That always led to multiple trips to the concession counter with a bad case of the munchies...Yes I remember the aroma...Ahhh the good ol' days. I don't do it anymore and have not in years, but I promise you there are days that if it was legal......Just 1 little hit would help with the stress, but mind you I am not at all condoning it...Besides Bud is beer...right?

I blame the car (seems he does as well)... So long as this Fuser thing doesn't bring McLaren in I really couldn't care less ;-)

Hi Joe,

I thought during long time about the mystery of the crossroad and the ten words. I think we'll agree that the Blues is the perfect meannig of the mystery of crossroad. The last prophecy of the crossroad has been given by SRV:

"We can't be saved inside the truth, but in the truth we can survive".

We are separated. We are not united.

This also means that the ten words and Jesus are separated. The 4 evangiles fail to produce the spiritual unity. The prophecy of Christ fails.

Why? Because Judas & Jesus are separated inside the 4 evangiles.

The last temptation of Christ is the evangile number 5, the only one which shows the union of Judas & Jesus, which is the ten words inside Christ.

This is so obvious. Evangile 5 has been at last given to us.

The energy of the unity of Christ is out there, out of all religions, & each time this energy is back among us, some people kill it : Matrin Luther King, Gandhi..

We are failing.

Silence & music.

Slans--You write it all so well. I am fighting misery right now with tryin to come up with a cure for epilepsy and making a living so I can pay my mortgage and all the bills including the piled up medical and dental bills on the credit cards!! Is that a sustainable way to live? I think not!

If I can get to Joe's next gig (my Steve and me) we'll be doing better.

Burly - Bud is beer.....well, only it was smokable!! lol. Yes, I too had to become a member of society and give it up. Joined the Navy and saw the world. Oh ya, and had 4 kids! Atleast we got to experience it.

Zenfish - I think my favorite SRV song of all time has to be Willie the Wimp. I don't think he ever cut that song in a studio. Not really sure. I don't know quite enough about SRV's history to know. I have only ever seen the song on Double Trouble Live. All these years later, it's got to be an honor that people still talk about what a shame it was for that talent to pass on so early!

Igneous : deep in the feeling yeap, but not in the knowledge, because the truth is that there's around 70 evangiles, but Church keeps only 4... why?

But the point is the last temptation thinks the unity of Judas & Jesus.

Slansh : indeed, misery at the ground, but with the joy of searching.

Hybe : SRV was the Blues, & his tragic missing is still the Blues.

Dream3 - cheers dude. You'll get your chance, the guys love down under so can't really seem them not coming to you

Skippygirl - thanks.... and am sure you'll get your chance too. No MnG available. I'm sure MnG is only being set up for the US tour. If I do the usual, I'll say hi. Send me a message nearer the time and I'll hand it over all being well

Scuba - sounds like you were having a bad few minutes this morning. Stop using yer mums credit card anyway.... poor woman. She'll have words when she spots the new amp & JS series : ) If it's a bus, you can drive as you're qualified for the big rigs

Fatape & others.... we'll see if we can hire some satellite gear and broadcast it LOL

Anibur - sorry, on autopilot I never think about the balconies/circles. I did see an option for those when I booked this morning. They're "general" seating, as in unreserved. You goin'?

Burly - thanks m8. I'm sure between us all we'll manage to convey the gig to those that can't make the early events.... hey, and what no racing chat? : )

Wolf - strewth, that's just so wrong....

Cube - sorry to break this to you, but Big Al McKenna has cheated on you with Wolfie. I know you won't want to believe it, but it came straight from the horses (well Wolf's) mouth ...Woke ,up this morning got a blue moon in youre eye,s later wolf2.

Igneous - told ya (re Lewis). The diffuser issue needs sorting, and maybe, maybe it's not all as it seems. Find out tomorrow/Sunday. Will looks fairly chunky for bike only fitness.... but it works bl**dy well for him : )

Bring on the Foot

Oh, talking of body part - Blue Moon, how's yer finger doing? Enjoyed the tone on Home by the way. Very tasty and faithful to the orig!

scuby - so which seat did you get, A18 looks to be the best one to me.

fatape - I booked my virtual seat a few weeks ago ahead of you but I'll happily sit on yer lap if Mrs fatape and Mr Skippy don't mind, we can fit more people like burly and Ozz Fudd and Dream3 (and maybe roo if Mrs roo puts her foot down, er paw) if we double up like that :0). Wow I feel better already knowing so many Aussie T2Jers are on the virtual bus with me.

roo - you are the IT boy, is there a way to put all the Aussies at the venue i.e. some sort of videoconference or skype or something?????? What if Pip takes a wireless internet device with a mic and camera and we all log into a site at the co-ordinated time (bearing in mind any prohibitions yada yada).

Pip- F1 qualifying @ 1:00 A. M...I hope to be sleeping peacefully. So what is your favorite manufacturer? In NASCAR I have always been a traditional Dale Earnhardt Sr. Chevrolet die hard fan. I still am a Dale Jr. fan but to be honest with ya, If he can't do well I root for Toyota,..Yes I know I am probably getting screamed @ by my fellow Americans, but I have driven them personally for years and quite honestly nothing else is as durable as a Toyota. What I do to a truck is pure punishment. I have a 2009 Tundra Crew Max 4 wheel drive with the 5.7 and so far the only other locals brave enough to race me are the guys with the new Dodges. I made easy work of them and they were single cab 2 wheel drives. This thing will move. I wish I had an easy way to mod the computer as is shuts down @ 109 miles per hour. What is that about 75 - 80 kmh? That's what I do for fun. We have some long deserted highways out here in the country and have to let loose once in a while.

I had 2 tickets for the Martinsville, VA. race Sunday but can't go, They were freebies so I am not totally bummed.

skippygirl: Hahahaha good idea.

Options starting from super cheap and progressing to stupid:

Starting point, get fatape to remember the concert, come back here and reproduce it in text on the forum..

next would be take a mobile phone, upload the shakey, overdistorted video to youtube.

Next, sneak in a handycam, with good video and audio, upload that to the group.

To broadcast live, all you need is a video camera, decent microphone and a computer to transmit over a wireless wan connection! - hmmmm, maybe difficult to smuggle in!

Then you can talk to the guy on the desk and ask for a direct patch from the mixing board. Get a few mates with video to video from different angles, get a fake id for backstage and dress like a ninja so you can walk around on stage and film them up close, hang another friend from a harness and rope so he can fly over the audience..... setup your own broadcast mixing desk out in the carpark and get your mum to switch cameras, etc...

Ahh forget it, I'm just gonna buy the DVD.

Joe? Chickenfoot MUST be organising a decent video recording of one of these first concerts at a music festival in Europe aren't you? That would be a very cool DVD to own. One of the first ever Chickenfoot concerts - historical awesomeness - recording the point in history where the future is changed forever, leading to eventual world peace and harmony and the establishment of the first "Church of the Foot".

Amen.

Hybes- wasn't the 80s fun?

GG2- Is Steve your husband? I am sort of new so I am out of the loop on this.

I had a great uncle who had epilepsy and knew a guy in school with the disease. So many perplexing illnesses like autism and epilepsy, maybe in the near future with all the new advances in medicine that are coming into play they can find cures for these and others like cancer.

Hi everyone...just posting a quick note to say I'm back in Long Beach now, safe and sound. I'll catch up here over the next few days.

The highlight of the trip for me was it SNOWING at Petrified Forest National Park. I haven't been in snow for about 10 years, so that was very cool. I'll share more (words and pictures) later...

Oh, and Phil...thanks for the Chickenfoot texts!
