Scubadaz: That's quite a bit of currency there. Sorry you couldn't go see Vai, but on the plus side, one out of two is not bad. Enjoy Chickenfoot man!
Cosmicape: Hope it works out for you. I've been trying to get it rolled over for months now. With what I have on my plate, it is quite a challenge to get this done. Some good news, I meet with my advisor tomorrow so we can get it done. YEAH!!! How's everything going for you out in California? By the way, Austin (D.T.S.) mentioned about the earthquake in California that happened about 15 years ago.

I was in my bed, in summer hollidays, it was 10 a.m and I was still sleepin' (idleness), and my brother was awake, he turned-on the computer and put some music, it was the G3 "Rockin' in the free world"

Good Afternoon Satchland...... How's everyone?
Man, It's ben' a long time since I've ben' here.
Checked out Jeff Beck's Live at Ronnie Scotts DVD.... Breathtaking to put it mildly. What a band. Jeff is unreal. His technique would be pretty hard to cop and Tal Wilkenfeld....all I can say is OOOH !!!! My God !!!! Man can that girl play bass. It's just a pleasure to watch these great musicians rip through these songs. You've got to check this DVD out. It just may change your life...... Well ...... maybe I'm stretching here a bit but it's unfecking believable.
Hope all is well with everyone. You guys and gals are the best.
Go Chickenfoot.....
Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!!

Keniko: The Beck album is good isn't it? Got to love his style...especially when you see how he actually does it as well. Breathtaking is a very good word to describe it...

Takfarinas, this place is loaded with freaks! Guitar freaks, music in general freaks, aloe freaks, peanut war freaks, and yer every day run of the mill freaks. Welcome!
First time I heard Joe... My neighbor said "dude, you have to hear this guy..." and he played Surfing With The Alien. That was back in 1980whatever? We got that cd, then didn't get another until my husband and his friend went to see Joe on his self-titled cd tour. My husband raved about the gig, and we've been to every Joe show/G3 since then :-)
Glitz, we're all good, thanks.
Hi Keniko!
Chee, I saw the coverage of the earthquake on the news last night and it brought tears to my eyes. They showed a dog that wouldn't move off of the rubble his people were buried under. Jayzus, such massive devastation. So very very sad.

I know chelle...it's just heartbreaking. Joe was just in Milan, so I wondered if he was there when the quake hit, or if they felt it....and wondered about his family and friends over there :((( So many people left homeless, so many deaths and people yet to find. Terrible tragedy....my heart goes out to them.
As for freaks in this forum, well hell, if it weren't fer the freaks I wouldn't fit in at all! We like hanging with our own kind after all u know.....
Thanks webby Jon, will check it all out, can't wait for Chickenfoot tour news closer to home here!

Rained here yesterday and we are havin' some showers today.
Thanks Jon Luini for your timely update and new page! I'm lookin' forward to buying the new CF album on CD at my local Best Buy.....I wonder if I can order it early (Scottish or Irish accent please...Yeeoow!).
For all T2Jers who are interested--My Steve and I were at Stanford for about 5 hours yesterday first seeing his neuropsychiatrist, having lunch and then seeing his epileptologist. The first doctor said Steve needs counseling once a week for the next at least 9 or 10 weeks. Then when we were waiting to see his epileptologist, the nurse from his office came in and said the doctor was bringing in one of his students to observe the appointment. After the doctor came in he let us know we have no choice except surgery (for placing electrodes and wires) and the cyberknife radiation beam after 2 to 3 weeks of healing beyond the surgery. It was like a bombshell--Steve said stop it doc, yer scaring me. The doctor looked him straight in the eye and said we have tried all the available medication therapies and implants won't work because the batteries have to be changed every 5 years....that leaves only the one option. So we agreed to go ahead after we get the hematologist to do a blood workup to make sure Steve won't bleed to death on the operating table! Holy shit! I don't know what else to tell ya. This will definitely bankrupt us! Come August and September (CF concert time) Steve may have a painful swelling in his brain from the cyberknife radiation treatments. The doc said it may take about a year for him to fully recover. I don't know if his employer will support him in this or not. State disability.....no funds!! Social Security Disability? Hell....at this point it's anyones guess! I guess we should prepare to loose our car and our house!! ;-/

Anti-epileptic meds only do so much.....just changed the kind of seizures Steve has NOT the frequency. The 3 AEDs make him tired, drowsy and interrupt his watching movies and our conversations.....he has to stand and hold my hand for us to have a meanful conversation these days.....it's ok but it's NOT OK because it ain't normal......he needs to feel like a living man not a dead man walking!
Joe---My Steve is gonna have your low maintenance hairstyle soon only he's keeping his beard. Don't know what else to say. What's your friend Steve Vai up to these days?
