Listened to the Bone interview over my stereo--yeah, the old fashioned way. DotheStu-- Your reporting is right on! Thanx!

Michelle--Could the guys in Van Halen wear their ass-tight/crotch-tight pants any tighter? Yeeeoooww! We gets to see every outline of their bits! What are they tryin' to do, give us ideas?

Feel like a giant pimple--like I'm goin' through raging hormones again! Yaaaaiiiii!!

Guitarvibes--You goin' through that phase, too? It could be the horny season, maybe.

Spending time with Al McKenna--listening to his cover of Psycho Monkey from my favorite Satch album. Al does great covers of Satch and Vai songs!

Thanks, Al.

I gotta say I've never been quite this confused before with buying tickets to a show................can you help PLEASE!!! Especially since the tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 am for lots of the shows....we don't know what we're doooooooooinnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg.....

If anyone watches that old Bone interview with Satch that michelle posted, can you tell me when and in what video he plays a few notes that he said were from the Chickenfoot CD? I'd like to go back and listen, and try to figure out what it's from.

Guitarvibes - I think the "big announcement" during Joe's time on the radio wasn't related to him or Chickenfoot. It was probably station-specific. Early on they had someone come on and say something about Green Day adding a second show in town...did anyone else hear that?
cheese101 - Hmmm...can you forward me that email from the Bone that mentions the live Chickenfoot thing? I'm curious as to what it says, exactly.

I don't know what they have that they can be promoting, unless they recorded the Best Buy gig they did in Anaheim a few weeks ago.

jmcblues - Last year's Paris show was recorded. A DVD (and a CD?) will be released later this year. Both the songs you mentioned will be included.

If you buy the two-disc version of Surfing With The Alien that was released in 2007, it comes with a DVD of Joe's 1988 performance at the Montreaux Jazz Festival...Memories is included. It's not the exact version from Dreaming #11, but the lineup and arrangement are the same.

cheese101 - I think the "FC Bundle" includes the autographed poster, Magic 8 Ball, and other goodies. I think the two ticket price is cheaper as an incentive to get you to buy two bundles instead of one. I've seen Live Nation offer discounts on multi-ticket buys before.

...Austin...

Help A Fellow Satch Fan!!!! Firstly i wanna say how much of an inspiration you are to me and also to most if not all of my students through my lessons, you continue to create music that is deep both in an emotional and technical way which continues to inspire up and coming artists like myself. I wanna thank you for that Joe ;-) Through your inspiration I have recently entered Guitar Idol 2009 and have reached the online final, this means with help from fellow guitar fans i can gain enough votes to proove to the judges i deserve to be at that final amongst todays budding guitar players. Im sorry this seems a blatant attempt to gain votes by abusing your forum but i can gaurantee your inspiration has played a huge part of getting me where i am today, so please take the time to visit http://www.guitaridol.tv/online_final/entry/sorrow and vote for me i need all the help i can get peeps ;-) Also check out my 3 album release availible to purchase through CDbaby - www.LuckySinghOnline.com

Thanks again Joe and i look forward to rocking out with you and CHICKENFOOT!!! Puttin the Foot Down In The UK!!!!!!!!!!

hello joe.. as for your information im a new member here..:] i've heard about you since i was12,that's because my brother actually is the biggest fan of yours..at the first time i heard you play,i've generated the idea in my mind that "this is what i've been searching for"..a riffs and solos that comes up with cleanliness and not totally playing to show that you are a great guitar player, but as for my opinion, the music you play is all comes from a pure heart of guitar player where the sound of the guitar is more about to express your feeling about something and im really attracted about that..and for know im trying to follow of what i have heard and learn from you..gud luck joe..

Good morning!!..Good night Skippy and all from Oz. You West Coasters go ahead a sleep a while.

Alan-Another good melody.

I was able to record a bit of a song idea that I had a riff in mind for and ended up changing the chord progression as I recorded it.

I like the drum program and could really get some good things out of it if I could take a little time. Just wish I had got into this back in the winter. I threw it together rather quickly. I think when I get more experience with Audacity I can make it sound much better, as I am not used to extended improvisation especially while recording. My flow gets to be a bit derailed by the distraction. I am actually pleased with Audacity, and it's free. I am using the free trial of Beat Craft.

I used the right side only out of the Genesis 2. I need to run into town and buy an extra adapter to get both the left and right out ran into the mic port.

Anyway I don't really have a website to post it to as I don't have a Myspace or similar page and do not really want to post it to my business sites. I guess I need to break down and create a page.

Maritime- I was a bit worried about your ticker during Joe's Bone interview next to the Bone chick. Be careful. Cool to hear yours and Austins questions answered. Way to go fellas.

Good to see so many Joe fans pop in to say hello.
