WOAH

I just heard a couple of chickenfoots songs, love em.

Joe's solos are awesome too. It's weird hearing him play in a band situation, I've only ever heard his solo career stuff.

But it is all mind blowing, can't wait for album release. Top priority, along with Dream Theaters new album to get.

Well done Joe!!!!!!

Hey I read someone elses post and they suggested Joe Perry for G3. I suggest you take Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton. They rock

Also heard about coldplay... same chords and melody they just change a chord but that chord has the same emotional effect as the original. Insane just ticks me off because when Led Zeppelin did it(best band ever anyways) they are good enough to do it and still maintain honor.

Chicken foot is a real band. Do Hagar and Anthony stll have a bowl of M&Ms with the browns removed it just occurred to me that they did that.

Actually, another cd release to anticipate along with DT etc. might be Animals as Leaders. Really intense stuff. If you have a chance, check out their myspace http://www.myspace.com/animalsasleaders

Good Morning Satchland...... How is Everyone?

I'm having the sane prob with Quicktime. I'm gunna download the lastest version. I'm using Safari. Any Safari users having the same probs?

Joan..... Thanks sweetie. Hugs to you.....

Satriella..... I still LOVE your call name. It's brilliant. Anyway, the band is doing great and thanks for asking. We have a couple vids on youtube. Search Max Cady Band to view them. I'm playing out more than I could ever imagine and I'm loving it. If you haven't ben' to the site Go Here. On the music page there's a small player with some of the covers we do recorded and mixed in my studio. Check it out. The iTunes songs is the guitarist I replaced. BTW, turn off the player at the bottom left of page before click ing on the cover song player. The site sucks but Sean is going to be building a new site for us and will be up in couple of months.

How's your drawing coming along? Any new sketchs you can point me to? Take care and hugs to you....

Jon Luini.... I hope all is well with you and your family. Just curious to know if you designed the Chickenfoot logo. I love it. It kinda looks like a 21st Century Peace Sign....lol..... but you can obviously see the Chickenfoot. Very Cool. BTW.... Did you get my email with the video link?

Have A Great Day Everyone......

Edit....BTW.... Someone asked if Joe has signed our SWTA mural. Not yet. He keeps promising he will when we see him and that's all we need to know. It'll happen when Joe has the time coming through Chicago. You can imagine how busy the tours are....Radio interviews, soundchecks, photo shoots...etc. Plus his last couple visits to the windy city the tour brings him to the next city the next day so there's really hasn't ben' a chance. I think I'll have Sean do the Chickenfoot logo on the other wall...lol....

C YA

Hey Everyone:

I have been busy as usual: Laundry, grocery shopping, getting my 401K rolled over (thank goodness), making the reservation for my family on Easter Brunch, and getting my confirmation and number for the upcoming Indy-Mini Marathon which is less than a month away.

Do The Stu: I noticed the name mix-up as well. I wasn't sure if anyone caught that as well. Kudos to you!!! My work schedule has been changed around again. Now I am starting to work more evenings now because one of them is going to be with family (one who is ill), and the other because of school/cost. Therefore, I have to do it and make sure everything is closed up every night and make sure things are ready in the morning for the A.M. workers. As usual, I have to be the one.

Blue_Moon: I am a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The songs I like are Under the Bridge, Scar Tissue, Californication, Snow (Hey Oh), and Dani California, which is probably my favorite. Have a good weekend with "music and traveling", and try not to drink because you said you weren't.

hybes: I saw that as well. Are you going to pre-order the CD? I think I am going to. How have you been? I haven't chatted with you for quite sometime.

Guitarvibes: Like the Emily Dickinson poem. I have read some of her poems before when I was in high school.

GoldenGirl2: Millie, my heart & prayers go out to you and Steve. Hang in there and stay strong & positive, the both of you. If there is anything that I could do, don't hesitate and write to me & everyone here, including Al. So Steve's hairdo will be kind of like Joe's? I think it might be kind of cool. I thought about shaving my head, when the summer and hot weather rolls around here. I have been searching for those CDs/DVDs. Some are there while some said that I would have to place an order for them. I still think the best bet will be Ebay.

Burly: That's neat that you worked for Pioneer. The seed plant that my Dad works for is Stine Seeds.

Cosmic_Ape: I know what you mean. Good news, I met with my financial advisor and my 401K Rollover is in transition. The whole thing should not take too long.

Skippygirl: Yes, the Indy-Mini is a half-marathon run. There will be more than 35,000 participants for this run. There is also more participants, but they will be doing the 5K. People from all over the world are doing it so I might get to see the top distance runners in the world. How cool is that!? I'm going to go out there and have fun doing it because this will be my first Indy-Mini. I plan on doing it under 1 hour & 30 Minutes. This run is on May 2nd and I'm taking the first weekend of May off to go down to Indianapolis. You should come and watch me. How's the guitar playing going for you?

Zinc Master: Best of luck in Valpo for you. Let me know how it all went down for you. I would say that is pretty consistent on your 5Ks. I have been trying to put in at least 10 miles or more in when I run. I have done 13 miles back to back a couple of times. By the way, are you planning on doing the Indy-Mini?

Satriella: Hey there! Way to go on getting the Chickenfoot tickets. Sorry about the whole divorce thing. I know someone from work and he has been going through the same thing. I told him that I am here for him if he needs anything. The same goes for you to.

Igenousiceman: How's it going with you. Sorry I haven't chatted with you for quite awhile. I am still running and I am going to do the Indy-Mini (half marathon) that is coming up in less than a month from now.

Keniko: Hope you're having a great day as well. I might be coming to Chicago in October to do the Chicago Marathon. I also saw your photo with your band. Looks awesome!!! Is that the only CD you have out right now?

Well, I need to get ready for a birthday party tonight. I am in charge in getting the meat, cheese, and cracker trays. Talk with you all soon!

Glitz Man..... It's good to hear from you. Yes, it's the only CD ..... but I'm not the guitarist on that one. The new drummer and myself are on the demo recordings from the smaller player below the iTunes songs. You'll have to pause the player at the lower left of the page before clicking on the demo player. The band is in the process of writing new material. I'll keep you posted. One song I'm writing is called...... "Mustache Ride" Imagine that ... lol.....

Dazed and confused....RHCP--Wow, Chelle.....Is that cock rock or "Let's get on down naked and sweaty!" rock? The missing shirts makes me want to take mine off, too!

Al Mc--"Celtic Tiger is an endandered species" on page 8 of FT paper this morning--Last sentence of editorial--"Ireland has a nasty few years ahead." Man, here's yer opportunity to visit Canada. Please, please admit you long for Cali. Yer cop chick is waiting for you! (Californication--a goof on beautiful California--we have our probs too!)

Phones, both cell and land lines are down this morning in Santa Clara County--mostly in south county.

burly--Thanks for pointing out shaved look takes time and can be expensive.

Ibanezguitars--Thanks for the link to Joe.

fatape--Ya have quite a "neighborhood" down under! Useless prick? I think they make great pacifiers! And the nuts are nice toys. ;-P

Castle49--Revelation must be the best song of 2008!

Thanks to everyone for yer good wishes to Steve and me--depression and epilepsy are bloody hell! It looks like I will be camping out at Stanford Hospital most of the month of May and working at the library as many hours as I can arrange with my boss (best boss in the world)! Please know you are always in my thoughts.

Joe---I know you would be here if you could. Just want you to be healthy and happy. Your student Ry Kihn is fighting a nasty cold right now and I'm doing everything in my power to help restore him to health! Nurse stuff like hot bevies, vitamins and immune boost supplements. He shows up to give guitar lessons when he's ill--either that's dedication or shear folly! His nurse sister is gonna have a baby in May......a busy month I'll say!! Are you gonna show up at KFOX 98.5 this year?

Come on, guys...we're People of the Foot. PEOPLE! "Children" sounds too Spinal Tap. ;-)

webmaster - Thanks again, Jon. Also, and I know this is from a few weeks ago, but I wanted to say the Chickenfoot pics you took that are on their Facebook page are really cool...some of the best I think you've done for Joe (they're probably tied with the 2007 SWTA Roxy pics for my favorite)...
Satriella - You're older than Joe? I would've guessed you were 10-15 years younger from the "you" I know here. There's a compliment in there somewhere, something about not growing up or taking life too seriously, and keeping things fun. Anyway...
fenderstrat13 - The "no brown M&Ms" thing was actually from the DLR era of the band. So Mikey may have been involved, but it was before Sammy's time.

The Smoking Gun posted a copy of parts of that famous tour rider a few months ago...check it out:

http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2008/1211081vanhalen1.html

Joeman9 - That band sounds pretty crazy...thanks for sharing.
joea64 - He's usually pretty accessible if you wait by his bus after a show. I don't know if that'll be the case on the Chickenfoot tour, but it's definitely that way on his solo tours.
Listening to: Ozzy Osbourne - The Ultimate Sin (current song: Shot In The Dark)

...Austin...

yeah...I just read Valerie Bertinelli's book "Losing It" and she mentions the brown m&m's in there....that actually came about because Eddie wanted to make sure the fine print of the contracts were always read, especially the clause having to do with safety issues. Buried in that particular clause was the demand for only brown m&m's....so if they appeared in the dressing room, Eddie knew they had read the whole contract and felt assured they would take care of everything correctly. If no brown m&m's, he knew they hadn't read it :)

And Wolfie decided to keep the family tradition alive when he went on the road with his dad, and continued to request only brown m&m's.

And it's not just "People of the Foot"......

It's PEOPLE OF THE FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! (insert Chad sing/screaming that at the top of his lungs, LOL!)

Glitz, hi....things are the same here, thanks for asking.
