Lots of good links a goin' on. I think Cheese posted to a couple of these, but here's the LOT

burly - you're not wrong there about too many good songs to choose from. Its wonderful how great they all are! Thanks for the Pablo update

lorenzo001 - nice CF vids, thanks for sharing

Igneousiceman - when you say it's 10 miles in 30 mins, is that your target? Or is it like a club - if ya cant do it in 30 mins you ain't in? LOL Only an average of 20mph is still pretty good I'd say. Cheers (re vid)

Slanshroon - well I won't be only one looking forward to those Youtoob vids. Having heard some stuff on myspace I really gotta see it played. Still can't get my head round the fat pleck so seeing all this stuff will be great. Bring it on! The Gambale vid was great BTW. I need some of those techniques

Blue Moon - sorry for your loss mate

Cheese - I betcha Brian can get you a shirt made just like that one!? Put me down for one too : ) Fair comment about the CF reviews. SMD? Tut tut LOL

jpevle1996 - I think you missed it from Joe himself, he learnt on a hagstrom 3.

Guitarvibes - thanks for the note for note (ok words) transcription!

Kayla - congrats again. Lots of good reward for your efforts.

Roo - the Kevin Costner bloke could be wolf? Careful!

Skippygirl - nice review from cambridge. I actually stopped buying them for a while because it was getting a little silly (see below)

Do The Stu - yep, it's one of three Extremist tops. I got it the day I met Joe in the street and helped him get to a gig. I was so hyped I think I bought every top available....

Friends is an awesome tune, good call. As for my song choice, I think Id go with something anthemic. Maybe Dog with? It's a little bit RAWK but it's also anthemic. There's no obvious answer for precisely the reasons you give. Ballads would be the obvious/safe choice in most cases

Did you get my email from about a week ago?

Scuba - hey, that's not too long to wait. I had to wait 6 months for my Ibanez to be delivered after I ordered it LOL Obviously that's a lot different to waiting for a repair. Cool you got it back. Best go caress it!

Igneous, Burly, Scuba.... check the engine note (from around 3.40) on this awesome engine and Senna's pit exit at around 7.40! ... am gonna have to trawl autotrader to find me one of them 2nd hand ; )

This is pretty funny too... I'm so glad I have a Blackberry Storm LMAO

Laters all

well skippy, I can't speak for any of the other road test shows, just San Fran, but it was faaaantastic! The energy of the crowd was amazing...the roar....San Fran peeps are usually more jaded than that, but THIS got them excited, LOL!! But....I'da given chelle's left nut and one of Mckenna's boobs to go see all these first shows :)

scuba, can't u just see Joe, very seriously offering to measure someone's head...how precise he would be, lol!!

mc, as always, yer crackin me up :) Would the correct spelling be collEge perhaps? And congrats on yer 20 hours of sobriety, that's a new record fer u :) But I think yer off on the amount of time a bit, considering yesterday.

pip...u could be right, if anyone can score them, it would be Brian, LOL!!! Ohhhhhhhhh BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIANNNNNNNNN....

and whasamatter with SMD? It says exactly what I want :) U should know that about me by now, LOL!!

cappy...I musta missed somefink...whosa hypocrite? Or should we just say n/m :)

Joe went by his gramma's old place in NY today....I miss my gramma too, she was a wonderful woman, and a lady from head to toe to the end. I used to tell her I had NO idea how she managed to stay sane while raising 5 kids, especially when u consider who they are....my aunt, and uncles are all CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY, lol! But so much fun :) I don't think she ever once spanked any of them (even though they likely deserved it at least 12 times a day) but man could she slay u with "the look". That's all it took to make big 6 feet tall boys quiver and quake in their shoes, LOL!!!

Love u gramma Beebah.

Cheese - he he he, it's just SMD always sounds odd (to me) coming from a lady. It should almost be SMF.... ha, see what I did there.

Incidentally, is it definitely right that SMF is sick mother f......?

An if that's right, was it referring to anyone in particular!?

Roo - here's a random one. Why do you think one of the 'boots' is called "pissed off as usual"? Either someone was being extremely sarcastic or doesn't like/doesn't know the nice Mr Joseph.... any insight?

good mornin all

Strat players:did a simple lil Eric Johnston mod last night & swapped the tone controls around...impressed you will be its tonetastic, get the soldering bolt out n give it a lash! Apparently 375k pots are a better option for single coil the standard is 250k, 500k for humbuckers

btw:Wiring Diagram

Good morning. Trekking to Little Rock today to help out a friend. New strings ,drumsticks, picks and a set of drum keys from Guitar Center is on the agenda.

Hybes- for you and the other drummers out there. Mike Portnoy As I Am ( drums only) They shot this while recording the song. You used to be able to watch the version with the full band but the record company pulled it. This guy has so much brass around him it's unbelievable. I really like his little short flurries with the double bass. And I love to watch the end (around 7:10 for the all out Blitzkrieg). Mike is one of my heroes.

Pip- thanks for the vid. Those engines are awesome but it's the transmissions in these things that amaze me. I work on my own stuff so I know how intricate these things must be. Amazing.

Bon dia tot Skip. Getting cold there yet?
