Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well. I have to make this short because I am on the go as usual. I got off work a few hours ago, but I have to go back later tonight (double-duty). I saw the dates for Chickenfoot and unfortunately, I am not able to go because of work and my running. Speaking of running, I have one coming up tomorrow (a 7.5 mile run). Wish me luck everybody. When am I ever going to get a break from everything? Hopefully soon.

To all the T2Jers and Chickenfooties/Chickenheads:

What's up everyone. Here are some races I have coming up.

Shoe-Sucker (7.5 Mile) (4/18)

Mastodon Stomp (5K) (4/25)

One America 500 Festival Mini Marathon (5/2)

Warbird Brewing Company 10K (5/16)

T.R.R.C. 12K (5/23)

I might be doing one on 5/9.

Well, gotta run. Chat with you all soon again. I'll let you know how this Saturday's run went down. See ya!

Michelle and Tracie--I guess Joe wants us to hang out and get to know each other at these "Road Test" shows. It's an opportunity to check out the scene at these smaller venues. If I get to meet a few T2J people it will be worth the $62 per ticket that I paid, fees included. T--Sorry to hear about the T-shirt mess. Webmaster Jon will help ya get things sorted out. As he said he didn't anticipate the confusion.

Al--You are so cheeky!! Give us aunts some respect!

Pip - I've only replaced the toggle switch. The frets were pretty worn out when I got the 100, It was to be re-fretted but opted to have them re-shaped instead. Every thing else is as I got it. As soon as I can con fatape out of his Fred.....
Oh! Steve Vai signed it, but it's warn off. He signed the body, right where my arm sits. Doh!!!

2009 "ROAD TEST" US TOUR Presale and Public Onsale Update Hello Friends of the Foot!

Here's a quick TOUR update for you.

The band is currently planning their full US tour for later in the year. Right now, these ROAD TEST series of US shows are in smaller venues and there is much greater demand than there are tickets available.

Although we can't guarantee you can get tickets for these shows, we do want to help you understand what your best chances are.

The following shows may be sold out for presales, but there are public onsales this weekend (10am local time) where you can still get tickets:

Seattle San Francisco Los Angeles Toronto Boston Philadelphia You can always check the Tour page of the web site for the latest and purchase links:

http://www.chickenfoot.us/tour

Oh the beautiful 70's when CP didn't exist yet....
The worst we listened to was Abba. And in hindsight even they were brilliant.
Still got the original vinyl record of Kate.

HA! Great catch T. The first time I watched it I had the music playing over the video. I didn't click the stop button before I hit the "exclusive video" button. LOL! I'm such a cockfart. Now I'm really jacked up to see the show!

whaddya mean u missed it.....it's still there...

clicky

From there click on the Chickenfoot at the top and it'll take u to the page with the video and songs on it, etc....never had so much trouble with a link before!!

Turn yer speakers down cuz right away Soap starts playing...u gotta stop that, then click on the video to watch it. If you don't stop the Soapie song, u'll get them both playing at once and it gets confuuuuuuuuuusing! :)

BBC red button gets Live F1 practice sessions.... good on you BBC!

Do The Stu - no, I love US racing just as much. In fact for a long time "Indycar" was way better than F1 etc. Zanardi/Tracy/Villenueve/Montoya/Franchitti era was some of my favourite stuff. The access (from my understanding) to everything is so much more open than F1. My one regret is not catching Indy at Surfers Paradise when the cars were at their best.

I could do with an official DVD of those years but they don't seem to exist

I can understand it being a pain when you work on a newspaper.... and probably a bit of a hinderance (?) as you live in the area. I hope they don't run up the engines (if they have a problem) over night...

Did you see Chad being Will Ferrel on the latest CF vid? Funny

Ozzy Fudd - so how does it sound compared to a 1000 or have you not had an opportunity to compare? I'm sure you could borrow fatape's jigsaw and THEN ask him for his Fred : ) Shame about the sig, I'm sure I read on Jemsite about a clear vinyl sticker that you can use to protect sigs, it gets used a lot on Chromeys? How did the Vai sig come about - instore, MnG, at a G3 maybe?

Cheese - thanks for the link. Cool stuff. I know what you mean about the record player. I have one buried somewhere....

hi joe, the first time i had heard anything satriani was in s.f..I was living on a fishing boat; in 1995, with my 2 kids, and a special friend (an absolute fan). I had the greatest intro too you and your music. But the biggest outcome was my 11 yr old daughter; Samantha. Sams was interested in the keyboard. I got her one at a yard sale. In 3-4 weeks she had listened to your solo's and with some other helps; She wrote and put to music a short 1 verse and chorus about aleins and being out after midnight. Yes she was out late and had been grounded too. She has very distanst uncles, she has never meet (the cowsils). But that has really nothing to do with what my point is. I just read that you had taught in the past, and ; when you know that you made a difference you have that Feeling. So here's a thank you, and gods will ; for you and yours and all. Trying to get to may's seattle/vancouver dates. Had some nasty flood, lost all my music,..., e-thing ... . Just replaced my computer, replacing music is tough, but this will be my 3rd alein when i can. C.A.

OK, so the Best Buy Chickenfoot video made me realize that if these guys weren't already famous for their other work, based on how they act with each other there is NO WAY they'd be given a record deal...no one would take that chance with 'em. I'm glad that's not the case, though, and we get to hear what they come up with.

michelle - I saw that Sammy Hagar video a few days ago...don't know why I didn't post it here. I think the interview went really well, and it's great exposure for the band...even if it aired in the middle of the night. ;-) Man, Sammy is such a cool guy...

Sammy saying in the Bestbuy vid he's "just along for the ride" and seeing the other guys push his car was so funny!
I surfed into this CF picture
And the Fox News interview really cheered me up Sammy!
