Cappy:Cd2 is released when i get a spare 4grand t have it mixed down in another studio have someone draw up the artwork & print n press 2000.Until then i have work t do for an open tuning DVD, finish writing/rec music for 2 TV documentarys, teach students, spend 4 hours a day entertaining a 15 month old, take intensive Catalan classes 5h/3 times a week and rehearse with a band...so....i,ll be lookin forward t parking my ass in the shamrock pub n scooping a few well deserved ales when the final is on.I,m not a footie fan but this is a big match for Barca, It,ll be wild craic here if they win

BTW:I,ll be setting up a youtube channel when the 2nd gets released, until then i,m keeping a low profile

Slan - Let's hope things don't start getting busy for ya! I've met a few Barca fans over the years, what a crazy passionate lot they are, great fun. I was in a bar in Tenerife once having a bit of a laugh with two of the three barmen as we watched Barca playing Real, I went to make room for more beer and as I was walking back they suddenly started knocking lumps off each other! Two minutes later they all happy and best friends again, amazing. Have a (virtual) beer on me and enjoy the match! No fighting though, don't want to damage the digits.

At 2:30 I see a (mahogany?) guitar I've never seen with Joe (if it's Joe and not Sammy)

Very cool Chickenfoot video...it's probably my favorite of the bunch (the flock?). And I think the mahogany guitar is actually a JS 6, not a JS 3. Here's a picture from an older version of satriani.com:

http://www.satriani.com/satch_frames/guitars/large/wood_ib.jpeg

Aaand, since the Chickenfoot tour begins today, I thought I'd share the Yngwie Elvis photo with everyone...but mainly mikesb and michelle.

No, I don't know where it originally came from. :-)

...Austin...

Learned over time, ya can't have too many moms! That includes the young, Alan McKenna!!!!!! Ya know, the nuclear family just didn't do it for me........I needed more (I hope I'm not alone in this conclusion).

Mikesb, Guitarvibes, Scubadaz, Skippygirl and burly--

Thanks for all your well wishes to Steve. We just found out yesterday that the surgery won't be May 18 after all......it is postponed until June 1! Oh, well........(not just a Fleetwood Mac song).

Do the Stu--Yeah, Steve and I are both going to the San Fran gig on Sunday. Thanks to my older sister, Deborah, we are going to park our car at her place and take public transport to the Fillmore. We have to pick up our tickets at Will Call window. I think I bought tickets in the wrong area--the printout says Gen admission dance floor! So I called the Fillmore and asked about accommodations for the disabled (Steve needs a seat even if I have to stand the whole time). Fortunately, the person I talked to said they can seat him and to make sure I tell the person at the window that he is on the disabled list.

We are going to be just 2 people in an ocean......still, it will be worth it to meet other fans and find out what all the togetherness is about.......or are we just strangers that should remain in self-imposed exile? ;-/

Cheese101--Tracie, I hope I see you and Chris at the Fillmore this Sunday.

This is a huge leap of faith here. Joe.......I hope you read this.

Woke up this morning to I Believe and Friends.

Work at library today, tomorrow and Saturday as usual.

OzzyF: Awww wow. Geetar looks humongous on him though...:)
DoTheStu: Ah. I was hoping no-one would ask that :) All I know is it was a version with Randy Rhoads....Oh and that first song on the new Chickenfoot vid is Avenida Revolution. That really good one I got to hear on the radio show....:)
Snapped a brand new (5 days old) Ernie Ball TItanium coated top E today. I reckon it's the bridge 'cos it's seriously off angle. Oh well, off to the old shop again for me...:)

I can't believe that people are trying to scalp tix to the Chickenfoot show at the Fillmore for $500 a piece. While us real fans that would love to see this gig are SOL, some greedy idiots that could care less have tickets. I guess that's what concerts have come to these days - just making $$. Sure wish something could be done! Please don't support the scalpers on craigslist!
