Hey Joe, I am very excited about chickenfoot. I have another idea for you that would be cool. Why not put out a box set of all the stuff that you either appeared on as a guitarist or artists that you worked with along with some bonus tracks of stuff that just never made it to your studio cd's. I am talking about the Nascar music you did for EA sports, Talk to me off your EP that got damaged, endless rain, the song you did for the guitar magazine in London (on youtube by the way) the mini-colossal song, the stuff you did with the Yardbirds, Hair off of the guitar masters cd, the Martone stuff, Martino stuff, Jordan Rudess stuff, John 5 stuff, Blue Oyster cult, the stuff off of Stu Hamm's first album, Particle stuff, Deep Purple stuff, Alice Cooper stuff, Labios de Fuego, Jeff Becker's latest, and maybe a couple of brand new studio tracks as well all for us die hard Joe fans because after Chickenfoot who knows if you will do solo stuff again. Please come to Guam and the Philippines as well. Asia deserves your presence!! I know how you are a big supporter of music in schools and I teach guitar at a prep school here in Guam who would love for you to come and do a clinic!! Rock on!!

Interesting article in our daily paper today about the vintage guitar market and how the top 42 vintage guitars are either Fender, Gibson or Martin. The '59 Gibson Les Paul is $900,000AUD wow.
Apparently the value of vintage guitars totally doubled between 2006 and 2008, attributed mainly to cashed-up baby boomers.
If they are in anyway restored, or have reproduction or replica parts used, the value plummets. Only the strings can be changed.
Must keep an eye out at the school fair junk sale this year............

Hey Joe,
First time post...
Been a fan since 'Surfing', and playing for years - teaching full time now. Thanks for the great tunes! I always introduce my students to you.
When 'Surfing' came I was just getting serious about guitar and learned 'Midnight' - been playing it for years, performed a few times. Always a hit!

With my word of the day for today, that could be pretty damn funny!
I find that if I change the meaning of the word to fit into whatever I'm talking about, it works much better. Example...
Hey scubz, did you see that feckin cockfart trying to play that cover of Devil's Slide on a kazoo?
Ya know, it's even funnier if you just say the word ten times as fast as you can (I can hear Chadley doing it now). LOL!

Windy Tuesday and Wednesday--northwest winds of spring. Had ta close the bay bridge yesterday because of 70 mile per hour gusts that overturned a tractor-trailer...took awhile to get cleared....closed bridge for greater part of evening. Feels like it's winter except for more strong solar rays.

I like footie--better game than American Football (it isn't true football, it's more pass ball). The foot work is much more skillful and beautiful within the parameters of the game.
Tennis is nice to watch too. My friend from Santa Cruz calls it T time--loves to play and give lessons.

even the non football fans could appreciate the football there last night, it was 4-4 and 7-5 on aggregate!
there was so much on the line and liverpool almost done it, awsome awsome match
same again tonight, Man U against Porto.... Man u will win though, but so far, great competition, love it
and the weathers been nuts lately, mad ncie yesterday, pissin rain today ..im not the relentless one, M london is!
