Guitar legend JOE SATRIANI (CHICKENFOOT) will be featured guest on IRON MAIDEN singer BRUCE DICKINSON's BBC 6 Music Friday Rock Show on Friday, May 15th. Further details can be found here.
Chickenfoot - which also features former VAN HALEN singer Sammy Hagar, guitarist JOE SATRIANI, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith - recently sold out their 9 Road Test shows in record time. Playing a series of intimate venues, this initial tour is set to launch on May 14th at the El Corazon in Seattle, WA. The shows will conclude at TLA in Philadelphia, PA on May 29th, with tickets prices throughout averaging $50 per show. The new album will be released through major retailers and digitally on June 9th and will be available for pre-sale through Best Buy beginning April 19th at www.bestbuy.com/chickenfoot. Chickenfoot's debut album will be released by earMUSIC in Germany on June 5th and in the UK on Monday June 8th.
"We spent a lot of time together in the recording studio working long hours to make Chickenfoot live up to expectations," said Satriani. "We really feel like we've mastered it and recorded a great album but now we're especially excited to take the show on the road and see how the fans react to it live. I think we are really going to feed off of the fan's energy. We're really that type of band."

hey satch,
I know I posted this earlier but I am still wondering about it. My girlfriend just did a school report on you because I reccomended you. In this report she did was alot of information. One fact that caught my attention was that you give intrumesnts to students that need them. I was wondering if I would be able to get a guitar because I will be attending college soon for music. Right now I have about 3 crap guitars that wont produce good sound at all. They are all project guitars. The most interestiong one has a fender neck with frets that are really worn down so that if I try to string bend the sound cuts out. The body is well.. I don't really know I think it might be a charvel, but that is just high hopes I think. It has a floyd Rose bridge which is cool but its all bent up and the "sattles" I think they are called stripped out. So its "ghetto-rigged". I hope to see a response, Thank you.

Sorry, I am Brasilian Don't not speak english.
Thanks, Joe Satriani

I wanted to ask you - Mr. Satriani - if you would please take a look at something for me.
There is this musician - Reece Fullwood - he is very talented. He did a little cover of your song "Always With Me, Always With You." I think you would be very proud to see what he did with it. :]] He posted a video on youtube and it is also on his myspace.

Woooo! Hoooo! Way to go, Joe!! According to Olenko of finland, you saved another human life! Your music gives life to so many people--gives us hope in a dismal, depressed and depressing world!
When you do good you go all out with it! Thank you!!! ;-)
Guitarvibes--The "bro" and "bud" are dually noted!
We should all beware of the greatest luni in the world--George Clooney because of the move, Intolerable Cruelty!! What a laugh one's arse off crazy story!! "I am just a poor boy, though my story's seldom told....." sang by a wealthy Ferrari driver!! LMAO!
George Clooney has that cute boyish, puppy look that almost turns me to goo! Rosemary's nephew is out there knocking down sentimentalists types like me!! help...! But I like it!!

Joeman, Joe has already said he'd like this band to do several albums if everything works out like they hope.....but meanwhile, I believe he's also said he intends to keep his solo career going as well....Joe is super, but he's not super-human, lol.....so prolly one at a time right now.....and fer now, I think he's having the time of his life!!

Hi Joe, I will be travelling from Regina Saskatchewan to Vancouver to see you play with Chickenfoot. My wife and I are very excited to see you and the band perform. We have never seen you live, but I own all of your DVD's and we are huge fans. Our flight does not get in until later in the evenning. Could you please tell me what time you will be hitting the stage, so we do not miss one minute of the show. Thank You for your time, BA

dream3 - well.......major extrapolation of a comment he made to me that he would pitch it to the guys. Let's ignore the huge logistics involved, schedules, Chad going back to RHCP, all that stuff and stay positive that the stars align and they come to Australia. I don't think it warrants a press release just yet :0).
In other words I am claiming early credits if they do come!!!!!
