death cube k - You are indeed a strange boy. A bit of fun is a bit of fun, if you don't like it you shouldn't start it and certainly shouldn't run with it. Having said that, I wish you peace and good fortune.

A guy at work put me on to this.

This is truly amazing….
Below is a link to one of the best pieces of sound engineering work I think I have ever seen. It is a composite audio/video of song whereby additional tracks were laid in by different singers and musicians from different places around the world. The finished product is tremendous! You can see the sound guy grinning in the back.
The song itself is that classic standard "Stand By Me".

Hi there Joe. I'm a 1st timer to your site. I wanted to say great work in the past and am looking forward to hearing the new Chickenfoot material live. I'm gonna be at the May 15th date in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, (which by the way is listed ambigously in your add attendance section, as Vancouver,CA?...this makes it look like we're in california). I added myself to the list in the hopes of snagging one of those after-show passes. I've got a cool photo, I snapped of you playing Vancouver a number of years back, that would look even better with your autograph on it!!... I'm going to have to reign myself in for your show though, to save some energy for another awesome event, the next morning I'll be roadtripping down to the Gorge in central Washington for the big festival featuring; The Dead, The Allman Brothers & The Doobies. That's gonna be one wild weekend!....Anyhow, all the best to you guys for the Chickenfoot tour. See ya in Vancouver...

Both geetars now looking nice and shiny with new strings, plus I now have one of those Chrom Dome picks of Joe's...Should prove an interesting and enlightening tool I'm sure (as in it will make lots of funny noises) :)

daz: I got it from Rimmers Music, which is a local shop to me. Pretty good, and there is a planet waves interweb thing with tips from Joe. Oh and it comes with 4 normal JS picks...

burly, thanks for the good info, it all makes sense of course. I actually already lost a bit of weight, but haven't been exercising much...however, according to cube, all I gotta do is move a treadmill into my space at work, sit on it and I'll get the best kinda exercise there is!! :D Maybe my chins will migrate back up from my knees, my belly will travel up from my rear....and then I'll be more evenly lumpy :)))) lol!

Guitarvibes--I'm still savoring the Marc Resch book and learning about the red light district in Amsterdam. I love the statue in the midst of the district......make a great picture for my (hahaha) new magazine BITS! What a great place for a museum--the history of sex in civilization. Great to have a place to go for "higher" education besides a stolid sweep it under the carpet USA where pretending to be so-above it all has become an artform especially in certain tight circles of despicable greed, maliciousness and vicious hatred--a previous Presidential administration comes to mind and also the one from more than 30 years ago! The USA needs to clean up its act and join the rest of the world INCLUDING CANADA in a more realistic, compassionate and open view and behavior towards our fellow earthlings........I am certain that compassion is as valuable today and in the future as it was in the past.

I am sooooooooo knackered!!! ;-/
