Mckenna, we missed u terribly, u shuda been dere, really really...don't make me hurt u fer the next show, BE THERE!!
And ps, Davy Knowles, the opening act, was fantastic!! Check him out...he looks so young too but incredibly talented, loved him!!
They played all the songs from the album including the bonus track Bitten By The Wolf with Joe using the double-neck guitar. Everything was so fantastic, I sooooo wish we had the cd's NOW!!!
And thanks Joe for trying to throw us a pick, we dint catch it, the guy behind us did....we've never once been able to catch a pick at a show, but it's all good, it makes other peeps very happy!!
OH, watch out fer flying drumsticks, Chad is generous, LOL!!!
Gad damn me, I'm still flying, LOL!!!!
Webmaster Jon said he doesn't have tour locations yet for the next US tour, but knows when it starts...I said "early August?" and he said yes :))) And they are going to use the video from these shows in some way to share these performances with everyone who doesn't get a chance to see a live show. I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!
Wonder what Joe's gonna do with his end of the show vids he takes this go-round......he's gotta put it up, especially since Sammy put a Chickenhead hat on his head at the end, LOL!!!
I might be just a tetch excited still....... :))))))

Ah Cheesey it just sounds fantastic. Hope you don't mind me following the tweets, I sent you a couple but you may not have had time.
What did you do to amuse yourselves in line for 9 hrs??? Apart from the guy with the pooh in his pants that is.
Did you have to elbow everyone out of the way to run to the position or did you do what I do and tell the kids to "RUN!!!!" and bags it first cos they're quicker?
Which reminds me my Foot fan T Shirt and stuff hasn't arrived......
God I hope they play the Forum in Melbourne.
Cosmic-ape and Austin - can we rely on you for an LA update? Austin can you tweet some updates pls?
Oh and congrats Kayla!!!

k, anudder post before I go to bed...still hyper, LOL.....
When we got to San Fran on Saturday and got all checked in at the hotel, we decided we all wanted to go to Real Guitars....the store shown in the Reel Satriani tape. I gotta say, we walked right past the place the first go-round, lol....the signage isn't terribly obvious.
But we did find it...went inside and got to meet Gary Brower...he sometimes works on Joe's guitars :) Really nice guy and very personable. Also met Fernando who works there and has seen Joe come into the store several times. He had some fun stories to share about Joe, and he had a JS1000BP for sale, used....Gary had it all set up exactly to Joe's specifications too, with his favorite pickups....Chris tried it and of course fell in love. Sigh......cool lil place.
San Fran is this odd mixture of very cool, and very bizarre, lol! All day long standing in line, which is right at a bus stop, these people were pouring outta the bus and were dressed....very strangely. Guys in tutu's, hula skirts, cheerleader outfits, Girls in skin tight running clothes, even someone dressed like a tree.....dangly things all over them, oh and 3 guys barely dressed in anything, kinda like Chippendale guys, LOL....I guess there was some sort of run going on and they dressed up for it, but damn me if I could figger out ANY theme fer the race, LOL!!!
And oh yeah...this one lil guy came tottering down the street to I think wait for the bus....he was staring at the ground almost the entire time...except when he decided to yell at me in a foreign language.....I kinda wasn't paying attention at that point, but was told I'd made a "new friend".
:|
Mckenna so woulda fit right in :)
PS, skippygirl, sorry, I din't get your tweets. And I think u can kinda figger out what we did in line all those hours....mostly yakked and people-watched....it's so easy to do in San Fran, LOL!!!

Poor Joe started to come on stage, got pelted and backed up to the side again to protect his equipment! Then Sammy gets on the mic and says "That's IT, I QUIT THIS FUCKIN BAND!!!' Kidding of course, but then he went on to say that he plans on quitting this band BEFORE he gets fired, that he just CANNOT get fired from ANOTHER BAND!! LOL!!! Said as soon as the guys try to call him in for a "band meeting" he's gonna say FUCK U I QUIT! so they can't fire him!!

satchblues - Thanks for finding that video. That little speech from Sammy was one of the coolest moments of the whole show.
Van Halen was never specifically mentioned onstage, but everyone at the gig had to have had a "this is what could have been" moment at some point. I know I had several...Mikey's harmonies are all over the songs, and there are a few riffs scattered throughout that are very VH-like (think Best Of Both Worlds).
So after 75 minutes of moments like these, Sammy's comments were really fitting...there's a bit of a "I'm glad I'm not still in that band" feeling there, and I think everyone at the Fillmore agreed with him...I know I did.
...Austin...

So Joe pulled out the Camera hey well lucky you guys still waiting for the camera to come out for the PSATMOR Australia leg of the tour yeah keep dreamin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Skiippy - I signed up straight away for Chickenfoot fan club and no sniff of the T-shirt lets be honest about it though in 2006 i purchased 2 platinum tickets for G3 thru Fanfire and got double charged to start took like a week to sort it out didnt recieve the T-shirts for like 6 weeks ended up with shit seats row like 12 the first night row 6 the second while people who bought their tickets from the local ticketmaster were sitting front row work that out and then didn't get the tour of petrucci's guitars and rig didn't get my packet of satch or petrucci plectrums so all in all not the best experiences with Fanfire i must say.
But Stupid me still signed up and payed the like $58

Sammy reminds of so many of my brother-in-laws friends! Even down to the wiping the face with the T-shirt.
Hope to see you all on Joe's vid.
Have a great time in LA tonight.

Hi Joe and everyone out in Satchland,
Joe, I wanted to update you on some of my work in music and education.
I had mentioned on this site over the years that my young students write poetry to your beautiful song Ten Words...in the past we focused on Ten Words for Peace and this year we did Ten Words for Nature....keeping our thoughts framed in ten words was a very interesting and enriching experience...of course listening to your incredible song was most inspiring...
Thank you for creating such powerful and thoughtful music.
Best,
illuminata (Christine)
