Me and me Dad did a version of Ten Words: Linky. We were going to do a more planned version tonight, but my string snapped....so that was that plan out of the window :)

Austin, please don't make me go thru THAT pic ever again!!! :)

You might as well go all out and call it futbol, in spanish. The end of game vid has surpassed 600 views! I'm happily surprised by that.

Al, I take it you don't enjoy cloudy days. I say make the most of them. Where I live we get non-stop sunshine from April thru July, I would loooove to walk out of my home to a scenery like the one in your pic.

hybes - A few days ago I was complaining about the vinyl version of the Chickenfoot album having a bonus track. But as it turns out, I think the Best Buy signing will be enough to get me to buy the album on vinyl as well as CD. Autographs will look better on a record sleeve than on a small CD booklet...I'll buy both, have them sign the vinyl, and then file it away.

mikesb - That story does sound familiar, and it'd fit with the file name. Do you have any idea who found it originally? I want to say it might have been MegaBoyd, but I really don't remember.
GoldenGirl2 - The Fillmore is an open floor, with limited chair/table seating back by the bar, and some upstairs balcony seating on the side. I know you're still collecting Satriani albums, but do you have the Live In San Francisco DVD? That was filmed at the Fillmore...so you can watch it to see what the venue is like (or look for some songs from it on YouTube).

The venue only sells GA tickets, so if you want to get a seat you'd normally have to get there early to be toward the front of the line. But if Steve is disabled they're legally obligated to give him a seat. I'd suggest being there at least an hour before doors open so you can talk to someone at the will call window...try to ask for two balcony seats if you can.

Here is a picture taken from a balcony box during a Black Crowes concert I went to there back in December. I was on the floor, 3 or 4 people back from center, but this photo should give you a good idea of what your seat could be.

Look for me when you get to the venue and say hello...I'll be the tall guy with dark hair and glasses. I should be toward the front of the line with Tracie, Chris, and some other T2Jers...don't be shy.

Igneousiceman - Ah...that'd be from the Tribute live album, then. A good one. I love the version of another Black Sabbath cover, Children of the Grave, from that album. The solo here is one of my favorite Randy Rhoads solos ever.

(EDIT - I corrected the spelling of Rhoads...before people jump all over me I'll say there was this girl in my high school geometry class named Brandi Rhodes. I made a lot of Ozzy/Randy jokes back then, so that's where the confusion comes from.)

Blue_Moon - How large is the Ireland venue Chickenfoot is playing at? Is that one of the festival stops, or is it a solo club gig?

...Austin...

daz: Thanks...I'm just glad I didn't ruin it! :)
DoTheStu: I hadn't noticed the mistake! But that's a fair enough reason to get it wrong :) I was using a music program that only told me it was from a 'Best Of...'

Hi Joe

Will you be coming back to Scotland at all this year??? Checked out tour dates and none in Scotland.........we usually do a round trip of over 200 miles to come to Glasgow, and was disappointed Scotland wasn't on your list of locations.... Would be great if Chickenfoot would come here, look forward to seeing you again soon "I hope"

Austin-I would go if tickets weren't selling for 150$.El Corazon is a pretty lame venue, I wouldn't want to pay more than 40 bucks to get in there.

im not sure Austin the CF gig is in a festival type thing, but its a venue i think, aparently the seats are far back and its on Cork, which is prob the other big city in Ireland so 3-4 hour travel for folks from Dublin who want to get there, + its on a tuesday so not the most ideal

but tons of acts playing the day before and after so not sure, its probabyl a medium sized venue

and i lieka bita sun even though my irish heritage doesnt approve, we're just not built for sun exposure! but it does cheer u up from time to time

Skippy- to finish what I was saying about the water,..Alcohol causes the brain to dehydrate and shrink per say ( it draws inward). The next morning when the brain re-hydrates and swells back out to normal, this causes hangover headaches. So drink plenty of water during the day before you go drinking at night.

Guitarman 7787-- I have CD4 but really only played it a couple times. I am so hooked on Company of Heros though. are you going to the Chicago Show? spent about 500 bones for me and my brother in law. will be so worth it. and we get in early and a T-shirt. not sure if you get to meet the band, but that would be an unexpedted surprise. later

Wonder how show #1 is going? I'm excited to hear all about it.

I'll have to read about it tomorrow. I have lovely guitar medleys in my head and I must go sleep on them.

Thanks al!
