Joe---My husband and I had a great time last night at the Fillmore. Thank you for your love song, "Learning to Fall". It reminds me of the love you poured into "You Saved My Life" from Strange Beautiful Music.

Your guitars made brief apperances (before the show) in front of your expert guitar tech. I don't remember seeing the double neck until you played the song about New Orleans. You make them all look and sound so good and they do the same for you--what a great relationship--it's something that is so compelling, touching!

My husband Steve wore his prescription sunglasses during most of the concert because his regular eyeglasses accidently broke......a kind of a Satch look I guess! LOL! Also, the shaved look is really getting more popular......lots of guys with "lockless" heads including my Steve (although his is in anticipation of upcoming surgery on June 1).

What's the deal with the T-shirts and posters? As we were leaving the Fillmore last night we were handed a note saying the Chickenfoot posters weren't available and we could come back and pick them up after June 1.

I haven't received my Chickenfoot T-shirt that I paid for with my fan club membership. Is it a matter of allowing 6 to 8 weeks for delivery by mail?

Skippygirl--I hope you have as much fun seeing Joe when arrives your way as I did last night! ;-D

Heyyyyyyy!! We're hoooooooome!!

San Fran was an absolute blast from start to finish, went with Debbie and Brian (Mahavishnu) who took such excellent care of us, THANK YEEEEEEEEEEEWWWW!!!!

Trip down and back was smoove as buttah....the time in San Fran was hilarious, starting with the bus ride to get to the venue yesterday....there was a huge ruckus between a lil ole guy and a younger guy, the old guy was rude and the younger guy wasn't HAVING IT!!! Shouting match, cussing each other out and threats of beaning him with a cane....it was actually freakin hilarious to hear it, lots of posturing going on but all calmed down in the end...shuda known that wouldn't be all fer the day, LOL....

Standing in line from about 11:30 onwards, we were first to arrive and jealously guarded our spot too!!! The people behind us helped out in patrolling any line-cutters, but they still tried....buncha wimmens showed up an hour before the venue opened and tried to claim they had been there awhile, whatever dood!! I had made friends with the security guard by this time and he shuffled them back a ways, woo hoo, LOL....then came the drunk guy asking for directions to the BART, which I dint know and sent him to some locals in line, THEN we noticed he had used his own pants fer a bathroom

:| It was good to see him toddle off, lol!!

Got a chance to say hi to Joe and Mick when they got to the venue, Mick was funny, amazed we were there, wanted to know how did we manage to get tickets since the ticket sale was so fast and crazy!! Also got to see Mike and Chad as they left for dinner, and Joe again....

Then finally in we went, it was kinda controlled chaos with the will-call situation but all went okay. Chris and I ended up right at the front in front of Joe's pedal board and OMG it was fantastic!!! You all will NOT believe the show until you see it, totally off the hook fantastic!! Austin is right, the energy of the audience was incredible!! Every member of the band did a killer job, and man is Chad a goof, LOL!! And can play HELL outta the drums!!

When they came back out for the encore, Chad threw water at Sammy, Sammy threw his drink back and it was ON!! WATER FIGHT!! Poor Joe started to come on stage, got pelted and backed up to the side again to protect his equipment! Then Sammy gets on the mic and says "That's IT, I QUIT THIS FUCKIN BAND!!!' Kidding of course, but then he went on to say that he plans on quitting this band BEFORE he gets fired, that he just CANNOT get fired from ANOTHER BAND!! LOL!!! Said as soon as the guys try to call him in for a "band meeting" he's gonna say FUCK U I QUIT! so they can't fire him!!

All in good fun, that ain'ta gonna happen ever, these guys are having the times of their lives!!

Joe could barely stop smiling all night, I think he only stopped when he was making his "widdly-widdly" face on the screamin solos, or when he was singing backup, although I saw him singing along with Sammy a few times just to himself. He was having the BEST TIME!!!

And of course broke out his camera fer the final bow and filmed the audience. They filmed the whole show too, and I spoke to Jon Luini about the plans for the vids.

The merchandise booth was chaos and fantastic, GET YER SOUVENIRS PEOPLE!! Love the t shirts we got, etc...

And outside, waiting for Joe to leave with his family, who wanders out but Jeff Campitelli, who came over to talk to us before leaving.

OMG....I know there's more to say but feck me, my throat is sore from screamin, I never felt any sore legs or feet cuz we were floatingfrom the incredible show, we barely slept and I WANNA GO BACK AND DO IT ALL AGAINNNNNN!!!

People of the foot, you are in for the ride of yer lives.....enjoy, Enjoy, ENJOY!!!

WE LOVE YOUUUUUU Joe!!! And hey, that Sammy, Chad and Mikey ain't bad either, LOL!!!

Hope you have fun on the rest of the tour, and travel VERY SAFE!!

CHICKENFOOT RULES!!!

Mckenna, we missed u terribly, u shuda been dere, really really...don't make me hurt u fer the next show, BE THERE!!

And ps, Davy Knowles, the opening act, was fantastic!! Check him out...he looks so young too but incredibly talented, loved him!!

They played all the songs from the album including the bonus track Bitten By The Wolf with Joe using the double-neck guitar. Everything was so fantastic, I sooooo wish we had the cd's NOW!!!

And thanks Joe for trying to throw us a pick, we dint catch it, the guy behind us did....we've never once been able to catch a pick at a show, but it's all good, it makes other peeps very happy!!

OH, watch out fer flying drumsticks, Chad is generous, LOL!!!

Gad damn me, I'm still flying, LOL!!!!

Webmaster Jon said he doesn't have tour locations yet for the next US tour, but knows when it starts...I said "early August?" and he said yes :))) And they are going to use the video from these shows in some way to share these performances with everyone who doesn't get a chance to see a live show. I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!

Wonder what Joe's gonna do with his end of the show vids he takes this go-round......he's gotta put it up, especially since Sammy put a Chickenhead hat on his head at the end, LOL!!!

I might be just a tetch excited still....... :))))))

Okay, okay, I have teenagers here, so that could be why I thought the kid was so retardedly funny, but anyways, maybe I can redeem myself...

If yer band ever finds itself short a drummer, an old tractor will do.

Any better?

WELCOME HOME T & C!!

Ah Cheesey it just sounds fantastic. Hope you don't mind me following the tweets, I sent you a couple but you may not have had time.

What did you do to amuse yourselves in line for 9 hrs??? Apart from the guy with the pooh in his pants that is.

Did you have to elbow everyone out of the way to run to the position or did you do what I do and tell the kids to "RUN!!!!" and bags it first cos they're quicker?

Which reminds me my Foot fan T Shirt and stuff hasn't arrived......

God I hope they play the Forum in Melbourne.

Cosmic-ape and Austin - can we rely on you for an LA update? Austin can you tweet some updates pls?

Oh and congrats Kayla!!!

k, anudder post before I go to bed...still hyper, LOL.....

When we got to San Fran on Saturday and got all checked in at the hotel, we decided we all wanted to go to Real Guitars....the store shown in the Reel Satriani tape. I gotta say, we walked right past the place the first go-round, lol....the signage isn't terribly obvious.

But we did find it...went inside and got to meet Gary Brower...he sometimes works on Joe's guitars :) Really nice guy and very personable. Also met Fernando who works there and has seen Joe come into the store several times. He had some fun stories to share about Joe, and he had a JS1000BP for sale, used....Gary had it all set up exactly to Joe's specifications too, with his favorite pickups....Chris tried it and of course fell in love. Sigh......cool lil place.

San Fran is this odd mixture of very cool, and very bizarre, lol! All day long standing in line, which is right at a bus stop, these people were pouring outta the bus and were dressed....very strangely. Guys in tutu's, hula skirts, cheerleader outfits, Girls in skin tight running clothes, even someone dressed like a tree.....dangly things all over them, oh and 3 guys barely dressed in anything, kinda like Chippendale guys, LOL....I guess there was some sort of run going on and they dressed up for it, but damn me if I could figger out ANY theme fer the race, LOL!!!

And oh yeah...this one lil guy came tottering down the street to I think wait for the bus....he was staring at the ground almost the entire time...except when he decided to yell at me in a foreign language.....I kinda wasn't paying attention at that point, but was told I'd made a "new friend".

:|

Mckenna so woulda fit right in :)

PS, skippygirl, sorry, I din't get your tweets. And I think u can kinda figger out what we did in line all those hours....mostly yakked and people-watched....it's so easy to do in San Fran, LOL!!!
