daz: I got it from Rimmers Music, which is a local shop to me. Pretty good, and there is a planet waves interweb thing with tips from Joe. Oh and it comes with 4 normal JS picks...

burly, thanks for the good info, it all makes sense of course. I actually already lost a bit of weight, but haven't been exercising much...however, according to cube, all I gotta do is move a treadmill into my space at work, sit on it and I'll get the best kinda exercise there is!! :D Maybe my chins will migrate back up from my knees, my belly will travel up from my rear....and then I'll be more evenly lumpy :)))) lol!

Guitarvibes--I'm still savoring the Marc Resch book and learning about the red light district in Amsterdam. I love the statue in the midst of the district......make a great picture for my (hahaha) new magazine BITS! What a great place for a museum--the history of sex in civilization. Great to have a place to go for "higher" education besides a stolid sweep it under the carpet USA where pretending to be so-above it all has become an artform especially in certain tight circles of despicable greed, maliciousness and vicious hatred--a previous Presidential administration comes to mind and also the one from more than 30 years ago! The USA needs to clean up its act and join the rest of the world INCLUDING CANADA in a more realistic, compassionate and open view and behavior towards our fellow earthlings........I am certain that compassion is as valuable today and in the future as it was in the past.

I am sooooooooo knackered!!! ;-/

Another vote here against dark chocolate. My wife loves it, so whenever we buy a cake for her you can be sure I won't be eating it! :)

Just saw this on VHLinks - there's a German CD store that has 30-second previews of all 11 Chickenfoot songs (but not the vinyl-only bonus track "Bitten By The Wolf"): http://www.cede.ch/en/music-cd/frames/frameset.cfm?aobj=710439

Great sounding stuff! I can definitely hear Joe's fingerprints all over the songs, but also Sammy's style too. Can't wait for May 19th at the Roxy!

Ingneousiceman: Not weird at all to see or hear Ms. Batten with Mr. beck. She studied with him for years. Check out some of his projects, you may find her name in the credits or in a honorable mention. Both Fine players. Check out Rusty Cooley! I love his song, "Under the Influence" It's the best!

David Gilmour explains his string-bending technique
"Just push. The wire gets tigher, the pitch goes up." So that's how he does it! Who'd have thought it was that easy?

Thanx for the Chickenfoot listening link.
Makes me want a Joe solo album even more.
(with Anthony and Smith could be cool, a Joe solo album with screaming grinding dirty rock without poppy lyrics waisting time between solos)

Satchblues - thanks mate that link is gold, really enjoyed hearing a snippet of each song on the CD.

Got a nice new lime green ipod for Mothers' Day (we don't do MD in a big way, this year for some reason they went silly) I thiink because the kids knew I'd crammed the 2gb one full. Now I can cram more Joe on and have room for others :0).

Have a great week all.

burly - 'morning mate, up and at 'em....
