Hello Satchland, hello Joe, hello friends!!
A new year has arrived. Happy new year everyone!!
I had great Holidays with family. Matilde (my daughter) is beautifull with 28 months. She is speaking a lot now and loves to do air guitar playing. She has style :)).
A funny story, in the other day i told to Matilde: " Say SATRIANI" and She said SANTANA lolol. Sorry Joe, i`m doing my best :).
Michelle - sending my best vibrations to you, i can understand your pain. Sorry dear friend and all the best in these moments.
See you later friend, hope everyone is ok!
Warm regards, love
Alexandre Caetano

i have a musical question.when you take the circle of fifths it contains all the chords of that key plus 5 others to complete the circle.i know that chords i iv v are major and ii iii vi are minor and vii diminished but what about the others, are the flat ii iii and vi chords major or minor.is the flat v chord major and the flat vii chord diminished,if i take for instance the key of A minor we have a flat 3 a flat 6 and a flat 7 to create the scale which gives us the chords Cmaj Fmaj and Gmaj.so does that mean if i look at my circle of fifths in the key of A the iii chord would be c#minor and the flat iii c major or is it just a matter of flatting the whole chord from c#minor to c minor.thanks in advance for any help with this.

Alexandre, hello friend! Nice to hear stories about Matilde. Good she knows two amazing guitar players! You're teaching her well :-) Hugs & kisses to you and your family. Happy New Year!
castle, thanks for asking. I am and I ain't. It's a tough time here with my mom still in the hospital. On New Years day she had a good day. Her edema was down, her face had good color (she gets pale), and she seemed to be hearing a little better. We had our daughter along for that visit, and I'm glad she got to see grandma in a good way. Yesterday was a bad day again. She has more bad then good these days. She kinda said her goodbyes and wanted me to know that I was a good daughter. I don't know if she's feeling something, or if it was just something she felt she had to say.
Anyways, I'm trying to hold it together, and I'm doing alright. Trying to keep my head on straight and take things one day at a time. Trying not to go into "What-If Land".
Trying...
edit:
and on the minus side for my pop, his brother in Chicago passed away earlier this week.
That's a pisser.
