Have strength Deb, so sorry to hear that. Put a little Joe on your ipod to soothe the pain.
Aron - you naughty boy that speech was a ripper, you must have been leaping out if your skin by Joe's words.
Thanks for the 2012 tour Joe!!

Peace Lily- So sorry to hear about your father.
I, too have lost loved ones to the big C and it just sucks. My poor Aunt died before she was 50 and suffered horribly the last two years before she passed away, and it was very hard to see. It was almost relieving to know that she wasn't in pain anymore, as I'm sure you will someday be able to relate to. For now, just hang in there and be strong when you can, let it all out when you have a moment, and don't be afraid to ask for help when needed. It does get better!
And I agree with Michelle; FUCK CANCER!

In a separate but brighter note, here is the Amazon link for the Satchurated DVD and CD pre-order. Doesn't appear it will be out on Blu-Ray, or on 3D for the home market either. I will be optimistic and just hope that those links aren't up yet. Anyone have any info on this?
I'm holding out for the OFFICIAL pre-order (not that I want to deal with Sony again) in hopes that the first 500-1000 copies ordered will be autographed. I'd rather Joe do it that way than like every other band and charge $20 more for an autographed copy. I've always appreciated that he's done it for free for the first few to come along...

Thank you ALL for the kindness & words of encouragement, reading your posts brought me comfort in the darkest time of my life....
My father passed today... surrounded by all his loved ones just as he wanted. I miss him so much but am comforted that he was at peace with dying and that all the pain is over for him now......

Deb, he was one hell of a fighter. Take comfort knowing he's not in pain anymore. I'm so sorry. Sending love and prayers your way. xo
Let's all have a listen to this and send Deb and her family love and light.

Aussiergman: I saw the Goodies live at Canberra theatre. Met them afterwards too, now THAT was a little surreal.
"goodie, goodie, yum yum....." think I once saw tommy Emanuel live there a long time ago too.
Hey I liked "sunshine of dark age" that's gotta be a song title joe!
G3. Set list ideas: whatever you play, have fun with it and noodle about sometimes, we love that sh$t, it's the best part about live!
Peace lily: be strong, there are friends around for you.

Deb, my heart goes out to you and your family. I'm guessing your dad felt very blessed to have such a wonderful daughter and family. If anything can bring you comfort at a time like this, I hope it's knowing that he's completely healed now and at peace. Big hugs to you honey.
