I ventured outside of my comfort zone today and wired up the pro track in my JS100. It was pretty simple and straight forward after having a good look into it. Happy with the result, but now want to replace the bridge pick up. I suppose why stop there, due to its age, I might replace all the parts to give it an even longer life...

Hi there
Here we go! Second show of Joe and his band in two weekend, yess!
The second one was in open air during the "festival Jazz des 5 continents" in Marseilles (with Lucky Peterson playing in 2nd part)
We were less well placed compared to Six-Four show (where we were just behind Joe's pedalboard!) but we had a great surprise! Thanks a lot Webmaster and Lindsey!
And thank you VERY much Joe!!
Have a nice and enjoyable continuation of world tour, with such success that you've had during your long French tour!
A few days after the 1st show, I've worked a little bit "jumpin'in" (http://youtu.be/ZS7w9InLRzQ) (of course, it has to be worked upon much more!).
I feel that Joe tunes 1/2 tone down: can you Joe please confirm ?
Thanks a lot!

Dear Joe,
I REALlLY NEED YOUR ATTENTION to this post.
As a big fun of yours and inspired by your fantastic music I made a short movie based on your music, this is my graduation work in the cinematography institute. The plot tells about a young guitarist with a day job of an office clerk who dreams about the big rock stage and one day the fate gives him a chance to break through obstacles and play together with Great Joe Satriani at his concert..
This work won't have any commercial distribution or use, the aim is most likely to show it at some short movie festivals. And I would appreciate your permission or your manager or record label to have the right to use your songs and music in this work. I may send you a link to have a look at and give you final word. If some other terms and actions are required I'm ready to follow them.
I would really appreciate if we can discuss this matter.
Best,
Anton

Unfortunately we weren't in Croatia when Joe had his concert, but happily we were on vacation and found a way to celebrate his music.

Little Vid's dance proves once again that the beauty of music is something natural, that we understand with our hearts (and legs and buttocks) and with no cultural filtres.
I am obviously not objective, but this video makes me smile.
Cheers to Joe and everybody of you!

Yeah chelle, I saw that late yesterday and am sad. He was a comic genius. The article I read said he'd been suffering from a deep depression. God bless him and his family and friends. He was way too young.
