Tracie- Best wishes for Chris.
Skippy- congrats on the new TV. Keep pluggin' away on the geetar. and for the record..I don't really find Timmy attractive :-) I do however find Nicole Kidman attractive. Now there's one fine lookin' Aussie. And her Aussie accent in "Days of Thunder" was mighty fine.
Super Swing Dog- Thanks for the recent add on Facebook. One of my newest adds was Daniel Allen. He lives in St. Cloud and is a helluva drummer. still plays regularly. Dannie took my place in the band when I decided to stay home and do the family gig. He wound up staying in MN. The band spent 2 years up there touring the large club curcuit back in 86-87.

Thoughts, Prayers and all round Good Vibes for CHRIS.
Prayers and hugs for Tracie too. I won't be so presumptious as to say I know how it is for you but I do have some idea.
Good luck to you both.

Do The Burgers - Possibly a DP but the above post has to be separate. Violins and saxes in a rock group? Well I remember, and still listen to a group called The Electric Light Orchestra. Some good stuff there though prolly a bit before your time. Example Lots more to try when you're there. Cello's and French horn as well. Of course the Beatles were well ahead of the game with all that malarkey.

Thanks for all the B-Day wishes ppls. Go ahead and compare me to Wolfie if I makes you feel good. I'm not in a good place mentally right now.
My job may be gone. I hope not. I love working in the library. I will find out this week.
Do the Stu--All men have or had mothers (woman) and there's some connection there. Ask your woman friends what they think about, what's important to them. Learning about women and our mysterious ways should be a positive thing.
Did I say I like your beautiful blue bass with the far-out pick guard.....work of art???

Cosmic_ape--Thank you.
TRACIE--Your name sounds cosmic to me. It sounds very 21st century. Then it also makes me want to search the sky to see if there may be a constellation by the name of Tracie. My mind tends to connect the cosmos with names and names with the cosmos. I guess it's just one of my goofy ways of thinking. LOL!

GoldenGirl2 - Thoroughly Golden Milli, I think you may have got thee wrong idea about some of the peeps here. I feel sure there is no-one who wishes you any ill in the slightest. Every one has a right to have a moan every now and again and that is usually well tolerated here. However, when it appears that a person's posts are mostly about "poor old me" it is not so well tolerated by some. It does not mean that you are not liked or not accepted, as Joe fans I believe we should all accept each other here in respect to Joe. I think Joe said something about free form of consciousness or something similar, I believe that means we can say more or less what the f**k we like, i'm sure Joe would not permit persistent nastiness by anyone to continue. In fact I believe he has been known to butt in occasionally before things between folks got to that stage. So chill fellow old timer, nobody hates you here, if you don't like what someone posts just ignore them.

Austin, AMEN brother!!!
Millie, I definitely agree with you, learning about women is a positive thing. But it doesn't make it any easier though. And yes, even our mothers will occasionally act in ways that will make no sense whatsoever. But hey, this is what makes life fun, right?
And I know your post was directed at Austin, but since he was responding to a previous comment I made I felt like also chiming in with my response.

Michelle: wow you really rate with Joe, a personal b-day message! well i'm a little late but happy b-day.
Cheese: sorry to hear about your son, hope all goes well for him. i have been where you are, lost 2 sisters in thier 30's and have another one fighting for her life right now. all you can do is take it day by day and lean on those around you for support and try to be positive.
looks like i missed another b-day. happy b-day GoldenGirl.
Cappy: i used to be on another board where "tolerance" is an unknown word. hence i'm here.
i've said before "4 things sorely lacking in this world. truth, kindness, common sense and personal responability."
my own personal quote " have the desire to achieve perfection and the wisdom to know you never will."
on another note we got 3 Chickenfoot shows coming up this week starting on thursday, then sunday and monday can't wait!

Cappy Steve: this is what you were referring to in your last post, this is how Joe describes the T2J forum:
This section is sort of a free-for-all stream of consciousness that all registered members can post to...
I remember there used to be LOTS more fighting and controversy when I first became a regular here, in the late 90's / early '00. It's way more civilized now, perhaps a result of the age range in which most of us fall in (mid 30's and up). I do enjoy the randomness quite a lot though, reading beer posts mixed with Wolfie's ramblings mixed with blog-like updates and such. I find it quite unique.

Don1963: That is tough, best of wishes to you and your family, stay positive. And how on earth did u end up on 3 CF shows?? Enjoy!!
I neglected to respond to a previous post of yours, I find it impossible to write lyrics first and music later. I need to know where the music is headed, and then I'll adjust the lyrics accordingly. I tried once to put music to some lyrics and failed miserably!

I'm catching up, from last week...
I went to Best Buy yesterday, and they had a cool endcap with a picture of Van Halen next to a picture of Chickenfoot. They're probably doing this nationally...all VH CDs are on sale at $7.99 through 8/22, and the Chickenfoot CD is still $9.99.
In that photo of Joe and Z.Z. with Les Paul...did Les actually sign "legendary" in front of his name, or does that say something else? If anyone has earned the right to do it, I'd say he definitely has...
bluebuffalo - The official stance on cameras is still "no" at most venues. Some let you bring in digital cameras if they aren't professional (no detachable lenses). Casinos tend to be looser with the rules than other venues, so we'll probably be able to have cameras in Lake Tahoe.
axeshredderjc - Thanks for those Satch tracks from Vox...
I really like them, like REALLY really... I love how "open" sounding the music is, they remind me of a modern-day JS95. I'd love for Joe's next solo album to sound like this...things could really open up when done live.
And Fanfire ships stuff from Rancho Cordova? That's the next town over from where I am now (where my parents live). Maybe I should swing by and bug them about not ever shipping stuff on time...haha.
Ethn Hayabusa - Spelling counts, on that guitarist quiz. Stevie Ray Vaughan. ;-)
I got 20-something, I could've done better (35-40?) if the pictures were bigger, I'm thinking.
turbo236 - Steve Vai released a shorter version of Live At The Astoria on CD as well. I agree...it really bugs me. Argh.
Guitarman77897 - Have you figured out any of Stuuu's solo yet? If not, say something this weekend (when I'm back in Long Beach) and I'll throw a quick tab together for you. I can play about 75% of the solo (Love Thing outro, Moonlight Sonata, Country Music (A Night In Hell)). I haven't taken the time to learn some of the Stu riffs in the middle, but he has a tab book out with those parts (they're bits and pieces of some of his solo songs)...
GoldenGirl2 - Happy belated birthday...sorry I'm late with it, but I've only been skimming T2J the past few days and I must have missed mention of it.
scubadaz - The bootleg I found was actually a torrent of bootleg recordings of as much of the festival as could be compiled. It was huge (several GB)...I've only downloaded Hendrix so far, but I'm looking forward to hearing the Who and some others. You can probably still find it online if you do some digging.
...Austin...
