Please tell us how you really feel about that Poker Face song.
Don't hold anything back - it will make you feel better.
I do agree - it is on a lot and she is kinda freaky.

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!
I'm glad to hear that things are going good here with all of you. How is everyone doing? The past few weeks have been quite busy and stressful for me, especially work, which is getting a bit out of hand for me.
I am disappointed with my boss because I mentioned to him about moving up in the workplace (Supervisor Role). As a result, the Supervisor position went to a new hire and my boss never told me. I felt upset and I was lied by him because he knew I wanted it. I asked him if I will have a chance to move up and he said yes, probably. Instead, he did not want to tell me upfront and prefer to let it slide by and then say that I'm not ready. I can't believe that my boss did this to me and this wasn't the first time I was lied by him.
Therefore, I have been looking around for another job, but right now, I'm staying put at where I'm at. I'm still angry at him and the other managers for lying to me.
Running is going well for me. I had the Harlan Days 10K Race and got my fastest 10K time in that run. I had a time of 37 minutes and 59 seconds, which is my second fastest 10K ever. I won my Age Division and was 9th out of 130-140 participants.
I will have my next race coming up the first Saturday of September (a 10 miler). I have signed up for the Indy-Mini next year (in May) and I'm still debating about doing a marathon this November down at Indianapolis or Columbia City. About a couple of weeks ago, a good friend of mine who lives at my apartment complex, as well as a fellow runner, passed away from a stroke. I went to visitation to pay my respects.
R.I.P. to Les Paul. I heard about it all over the news, Internet, media, etc. He will always be a huge legend in music.
Happy Belated Birthdays to everyone. I also celebrated my sister's 30th Birthday back on the 9th, and my Mom will turn 50 this Saturday on the 22nd.
Skippygirl: I'm here. I just haven't had time to chat with you and everyone, but I have had the chance to read the posts by everyone. The last race I ran was the Harlan Days 10K Race (my hometown). I got my fastest 10K at that run with a time of 37 minutes and 59 seconds. I won my Age Divisiion and I was 9th overall out of 130-140 participants. That is my second fastest 10K ever for me. Earlier, I just signed up for the Indy-Mini for next year in May down in Indianapolis and I'm excited for that. I'm debating about doing the full marathon this upcoming November. How are things going with you and your guitar playing? Miss chatting with you and everyone here.
Michelle: Congrats on the tickets. How are you doing? Happy Belated Birthday by the way.
Cheese101: How's the family doing since the surgery?
GoldenGirl2: Happy Belated Birthday to ya. How are you doing?
Do The Stu, McDave, Pip55, Igenousiceman, Elpp, Punkdude75, Burly, blue buffalo, death cube k, js1200js1000, Satriella, Blue_Moon, and everyone else that I did not mention (sorry, don't have a list of everyone's names).
How are you all doing? I miss chatting with all of you. I hope things are going well for all of you. I would like to see Joe/Chickenfoot so badly, but it looks like I'm going to be stuck here at my job. We have some huge Indian wedding reception coming up this weekend as well as Sports Teams, who are staying with us. We'll probably have all of our rooms sold out.
How's work, your family, vacations, and life going for all of you? Glad to hear that those who saw Joe and Chickenfoot had an excellent time. To those who are going to see them, have fun, especially you Michelle. Congrats again to you.
Joe: Great to see some blue from you. Glad to hear that things are excellent for you, Chad, Sammy, and Michael.
Well, I better stop now. I'm going to lace up my running shoes and put in some miles. The next three days is going to be a one hell-of-a-weekend for me at work. Keep in touch everyone and I will chat with you all again. See ya everyone!!!!!

Hi Glitzman--Not much has changed here. Just more trips to Stanford Hospital and Clinics for mental health and brain health issues (epilepsy). My Steve will meet with the Cyberknife doctor for the exacto beam radiation to neutralize the displaysia (seizures come from this lesion).
My life as a "tennis ball" has begun--need a new psychiatrist for medication maintenance and will be seeing current psychiatrist until he sends my records to another psychiatrist at Stanford. Will see a marriage counselor to find out how to pull our marriage together.
Need to listen to more Satriani, Vai, Morse, Timmons, Petrucci, Gilbert, Jeff Beck, and Alan McKenna......music soothes the jagged edges of my brain!
WHO UNCAPPED THE CAPPY STEVE? Please put the cap back where you found it! ;-/ ;-) ;-D

Anyone up for Mexican beer?? Got Sol and XX lager, first come first drunk! Got one with Scuba's name on it!
Mahavishnu: Cool pic, I hear lots of good things about Johnny but I'd be surprised if he ever comes remotely close to here. BTW your second link asks for a password.
Austin: So you have all the seasons but have not watched them? I have all but have yet to see 9, and between 8 and 11 I've seen some discs but not all. There's just not enough time! Thx for the FB reply BTW
Pip55: It's feeling a lot better now, in fact I might play tomorrow, although not as goalie, I just came back from running 2 miles and I feel no pain, so we'll see.
Skippygirl: So that's where u get your nick from? Looks like an intriguing series, who's the evil enemy, a koala?? :)
Wait a minute Scuba, I have now been informed that u let one get away...shame shame shame. No beer for u this time :D

Punkdude: Thx for the info, u do get a very thick tone out of that setup, I will be in the market soon for some pedals and will definitely test drive that one.
GlitzMan: Sorry to hear about your friend, and don't get discouraged on the work stuff, better things always lie ahead when you're patient. Go for the marathon dude, u know u want to!!!
A date has been set for our workplace 2K run, October 3rd, I'm targeting under 7:30 minutes, the closer I can get to 7 the better. Right now I'm at 10:10, so let's see how I shave 3 minutes out of it in a month!

Can anyone recommend a good Al di Meola album?
Skippygirl - it'll all come together, just keep practicing, it's the only way. BTW, that means you're only learning one word a year lol. Don't you owe me an email : )
I sigh when I watch Joe & it looks way too easy!
Do you mean Muse's Super Massive Black Hole ?
Bluebuffalo - sorry, I can't see Joe doing crowd chant as they've sworn they won't be playing stuff like that yet (possible for the 2nd album tour?). But cool if you do get it! Have fun at the show, would love to be there
Punkdude75 - nice, really nice tone too. What wah are you using? The ME-5 was part of Nuno Bettencourts rig for years... no idea if he still uses it. I must get mine fixed.....
Scubadaz - poked her face? I admitted somewhere else the other day that I do like the song paparazzi... right up until the point where I found out who was singing it! ha ha How's things? You managed to get on top of those headaches?
Axeshredder - seriously, just an H2? No way, that's amazing! So you just replaced the camera audio with the zooms recording instead? Awesome!!
Glitzman - good to hear from you. Unfortunately a lot of people can be like that. At least the positive is you know not to trust him any further now. Sorry for your loss
elpp - good news! Fingers crossed then & good luck
All quiet on the ChickenAC girls front..... must be having a good pre gig time!

Elpp - It's a long time since I did any serious running but have you thought about your breathing. I used to find that breathing management took up a lot of concentration but with persistence I got a much improved performance. (Works for other erm exercises too!)

Many of you will know that Koreans are partial to the occasional roast dog, Chinese have been known to eat rats, but the best yet was what I saw on an Indian restaurant menu! I quote "Aborigine, cooked in a clay oven". Allegedly it is meant to be Aubergine. Talking of Aborigine's, why are there none on Tasmania? Prolly cause Ponting's such a miserable grumpy twat they've all pissed off to the mainland.

Enjoying Robin Trower's new album at the mo, it's called 'What Lies Beneath'. Very bluesy and tasteful.
