Al McKenna, your MySpace page played Vantage Point when I checked it out. I was expecting an all out blistering shred fest, and I've gotta say that I was very pleasantly surprised by what I heard. This is a very well rounded song, I'm having quite a hard time putting into words how it made me feel. Thanks for sharing and keep it up!!

I just sent Joe a tweet about his guitar gift, and then I come here and see that he answered my question before I asked it. I guess I deserve it though, for checking twitter before T2J. I need to get my priorities straight...haha. ;-)

Slansh : sounding Telecaster twang with a YJM Strat is insane.

Goldengirl2 : hum.. i'm not sure to catch your point.

I supposed that Mr Vai would have taken a Superstrat or an Ibanez to do the picture. In fact, it's what he has done.. He's born under the sign of the searching Superstrat Charvel, the finding Strateinstein evh, & one of the greatest conclusion of these old time : the Satch Boodie Charvel. The Humbucker progression. Personnaly, i can't left the single coil Boat. If this means something.

MariSRV : hi my friend. I'm fine. I'm just back from a wonderful rock prog festival, with very good musicians on stage, & an incredible human being in the organization. Hard to come back to reality. How are you? Good luck for the job..

Slan : according to some knowledgeable players, Telecaster > Strat for jazz. Talkin' in general, of course.

My opinion about your searching.. well, you go where you want, but don't forget your work onto your Yamaha. You get a wonderful tone with it.

Keep us posted for your neoyjm exploration. I will check your page.

mahavishnu - LOL yes that reporter was funny - will you go see the Foot again on the US tour later this year?

mattv - guitarvibes posted the link to the cool black jacket Joe wears a few days ago it was at emp-online.com

Al - sorry to hear you have to go to a funeral :(

burly - good morning buddy, hope the rain stops for you

Ozzy_Fudd, fatape, dream3, roo - I think we can get ready to see Chickenfoot early next year for sure, hope it ain't like ACDC tickets (sold out 5 concerts in Melbourne in less than 15 mins this week).

As for futball, seeing Australia vs Japan next month World Cup qualifier, yeah.

Win a meet and greet with Chickenfoot at Bospop if you can speak Dutch.

Cube : yeap; Mike Stern is a killer..

About Tele vs Strat on jazz tone, & just talking about USA electric standard series, i've tried the both, & that with just two pedals : tube screamer + chorus. I know that Gambale has done good jazz job with the strat, but i had to conclude that the Tele is more responsive.
