Hello Everyone,
What a day for me. Worked since 7 A.M. at the restaurant and then worked at the guitar store later in the afternoon until closing. Glad that day is done. Gotta do it again, but only at the restaurant at 11 A.M.
Skippygirl: You beat me before I could say Happy Easter. Props to ya. ;) I even mailed out Easter cards already to my family and friends. I already bought Birthday & Anniversary cards for the month of April so I guess I better start writing/mailing them out to the whole family bunch again.
Oxley11: I read Get Fuzzy in the comics in our local newspaper a few years ago. Yes, the dog's name os Satch; you gotta love that dog. That comic is still in our newspapers today.
Michelle: I did stay up and saw Aqua-Teen-Hunger-Force. Read my earlier posts (a couple before this). I have my summary on the ATHF. Hope this helps out.
Dream3: You're welcome Jamie and Happy Birthday.
Found out the Chicago Marathon closed. Oh well, I guess I can always put my name/entry in the lottery for the NYC Marathon. I know I have one marathon on the first Saturday of June in South Bend, IN.
Grant

Link Library has a very cool video interview with Steve Morse...it's nearly an hour long:
http://www.licklibrary.com/lessons/1110/steve-morse/steve-morse-interview
Steve mentions Satch a few times toward the end, but it's nothing we haven't heard before (SM joined Deep Purple after Satch filled in for Ritchie Blackmore, and SM would love to do G3 but he's too busy). The rest of the interview is very cool, though...check it out if you have the time.
Ethn Hayabusa - Thanks for sharing that Brad Whitford list from Guitar World. I knew he was into players like Satch and EJ, but I didn't know he liked them as early as 1991...very cool.
Namm Man - Welcome back! What have you been up to lately?

Ethn - bugger! Can't see the Teen Aqua thing outside the US - darn.
Tracie - don't you love the Hubble pics? I love the NASA Astronomy Picture of The Day site, it's awesome. I've tweeted quite a few of those pics to Joe I reckon he'd like them too..
dream3 - I told Joe Bonamassa you'd be at the show Thursday night and to look out for you. Still hoping for a miracle but it sounds sold out anyway so..have a great time and wave for the vids!
edit...almost forgot...does anybody know if there are tab books for Satch's songs for the rhythm guitar not the lead?
Also, any recommendations for good books on rhythm guitar please?
Thanks in advance.

Hey Everyone!
McDave just posted on FB that it is Eric Clapton's 65 Birthday. Happy 65th Birthday Eric Clapton.
Michelle: My bad, thought this would help you out.
Sorry for those who were not able to see the ATHF episode.
Another day of work today and then I can have a little R&R the next two days. That means I can finally check out the links at Sweetwater and maybe see Oxley's vid post of Joe.

Hey Grant, did Dave mention why he (or Sir_Loin) hasn't been posting here for a while?
Edit
Oops how would Dave know what Sir_Loin is up to. My mistake.

It was a dream come true for me to meet you at ken stanton last saturday! I know you probably dont remember, I was an older guy (55) when you first started the meet and greet you signed my pride and joy red JS guitar with the chrome fred and joes and my wife lucie gave you the hancercheifs and hand sanitizer just so you dont get a bug ! Anyway , you have been the greatest inspiration for me to broaden my musical capabilities .I have the peavy JS Head,Saturator , Big bad wah,and Time machine, cant wait to get the Ice-9.So many dvds and all cds. Really enjoyed the show at the FOX the best place in atlanta.did you know Gone With the Wind premiered there when it was first released? Been to all shows in atlanta since 1992. If you ever are in the area and need a place to stay I have a 3800Sqft home with 3 extra bedrooms about 30 min north of downtown near the Allatoona lake.also have a sound room in the basement at your disposal ANYTIME complete disgression and privacy goes without saying.

Joe - So, how much of Chad's time do you get to steal while you guys get back in the studio? Haven's seen a ton on the Chili Peppers lately.
You're really working hard these days. That Vegan diet must have your energy level peaked these days! but that's good news for all of us.
