Hey Joe!
Love the new album! "Light Years Away" and "Wormhole Wizards" are killer tunes. :-) Looking forward to seeing you at the Orpheum Theater.
Question: are you planning to create more pedals with VOX and, if so, what do you plan to make? Chorus? Flanger?
I have the Satchurator and Ice-9 pedals and enjoy them alot.
Cheers!

@Punkdude75 :
Yep. I'm french and I listen to english speaking music all the time ^^. Nowadays, only a few french groups succeed in making me vibe. As far as I'm concerned, I also listen to brasilian music sometimes, and also skandinavian music (metal)...
Thanks to the new Joe album, I'm still working at half past midnight the day of my 20th birthday ! Wahou !

Frits T Keiser--I'm surprised and honored ;-D!!!
Alan Mc---Did you get to chat with Joe in Dublin recently? And when is your music gonna be available on CD?
I've been buried under paper from the federal government. I finally got everything filled out and sent back to their social security department. Oh, no! I said that no, no, nasty, naughty word...."social" that could have something to do with socialism and socialist. Are the troops coming after me to lock me up??? Social is what people on planet earth are....you know, outgoing, chatty, needing the company of other people and all that sort of stuff.....It's basic to any human being, right? Ask my 96-year-old neighbor. She'll tell you.
Joe's music.......Littleworth Lane and Two Sides to Every Story...........beautiful stories and great Jazz lines. I love the way you stretch out, Joe. You are indeed a versatile artist!
Cheese 101, M, AL, Pip and AMc---Thanks for all you do here to keep the Joe vibe goin. You're the best ppl and put up with a half insane assylum country called the USA on this lovely planet!

The Mike Keneally chat was fun this morning, great to see some T2Jers on the line, even better that Mike answered a couple of my questions and also said hi to me haha.
I think lots of us leapt to the conclusion that it was Joe knocking on the door but alas it was Jem the replacement keyboard player.
Peace - hope you feel better soon. Mr Skippy is sucking up the painkillers this week too, funny how he made it to the pub last night for drinks with his mates....
Pip - you are officially Sir Legend.
Scube - the hot bath thing is definitely the go.

*sigh* no reply from the Sony site so I sent another webform today.
Australia Post says it has not entered the country.
It' supposed to be up to 18 business days, which technically could be up to the 26th October so I spose I am being a little impatient, must wait until Tuesday and then do my block......

turbo236 - I asked Joe about the single coil back in March after his performance at Sweetwater sound. I had seen him the week prior during the Experience Hendrix show in Chicago. I had been meaning to type up all the details about it, but did ask at the time if it would be coming out as a production model, but he wasn't sure at that time. (I had also asked Mike Manning [Joe's tech] after the Chicago EH show if he thought it would be coming out, and he thought maybe yeah)
If I remember correctly, the single-coil was a prototype that dated back before the JS1200, but the 1200 just came together quicker. (I'll have to check the video I took with my phone to recall all the details)
The blue of the single-coil in concert is BLINDING (In a good way)
Peace, T2J crew!!!
EDIT: Enjoy! - I asked him, and here is some of the general info on the single coil direct from Joe back on 3/22/10:
"On tour I've got an alder wood version one, and the blue one that you saw me play is the basswood version one, and that does sound better."
"Yeah, it's basswood, it's got these new DiMarzio pickups in 'em, a chopper and two fast tracks. It sounds really great, we didn't have those pickups back when we were working on the guitar originally, so it was really the R&D for the 2400 that led me to bring out the prototype and try these new pickups. So Steve Blucher from DiMarzio sent those to me and uh, I like the maple neck is nice. The frets are a bit small for me, so it's a little harder for me to bend notes, but it was no time to get the thing refretted in time for the tour so..."

finally picked up the December issue of Guitar World with JOE on the cover! Actually 2 copies (one for me, and one for my son) Still have yet to read it all, but lots of JS content including a video lesson I believe.
Though he's been playing over a year, I thought it was only fitting that my son's first guitar magazine had Joe on the cover... just like my first guitar magazine did. Feb '88 Guitar Player magazine (that I still own!) :)

This is cool - Astronaut Ron Garan is going on his next mission in March next year. He blogged for ideas for his song playlist to take into space with him so of course today I posted all Joe's space-related songs - Ron's Blog.
Anyone else want to let Ron know he should take Joe's music with him??? Go right ahead.

Tracie- What are you thinking about selling?? Doubt I have enough money to have even asked you that question, but just curious, lol! Also, I was wondering where you guys made your hotel reservations for the Reno trip, or if you have any recommendations? Last time I just stayed at the Silver Legacy. I haven't made it around to shopping for a room yet.
Got my new Bombastic Meatbats CD in the mail today- "More Meat". I was excited to see that this one was autographed by all 4 members of the band rather than last years album which was only signed by Chad. I really enjoy their cover art as well, not to mention the music! I'll have to give the new CD a spin tomorrow, it's bedtime; I'm sure I will love it, though.
DistortedSoul- Thanks for the info on the Hendrix guitar. I do specifically remember that thing being very reflective, and I got quite a few pictures of it during the Mesa show because I had never seen it before. I hope they don't change that about it, at least. I would assume if Joe used it on BSAWW that he is probably pretty much done having it tweaked. I will try to get my pics from last month's CF show uploaded tomorrow and then link my album here again for anyone who hasn't seen my pics.
Really enjoying all these vids... Wind in the Trees is probably my favorite live offering so far, I think. It's pretty impressive to see Joe play that one. I will admit that I do prefer Joe in an Oakley brand of shades, though. I won't go so far as to say he looks weird in the ones he's wearing now, but I'm definitely having a hard time getting used to them. Are those Ray-Bans he is wearing now?
