GG2- I am very sad to read that you lost your job. I know nothing I can say will soften the blow but you and hubby are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find employment very soon .
Hugs.

Pip- Yep, the wife and I were at Reno '08, although I wasn't officially a "satchling" at the time- didn't know anybody from T2J. Probably hadn't even been posting regularly at that point yet. Would have been cool to have met you! I think I've checked quite a few others off the list, even Al Mckenna, so I'm sure our paths will cross someday.

"Chad is going to make an incredible record with us. If he can't tour we us, we'll have to get a temporary replacement." He names Jason Bonham, Matt Sorum, Vinnie Paul and Abe Laboriel Jr as possible candidates. "Any one of them would be amazing. But like I said, they'd be temporary - I can't stress that enough. Chad Smith is a member of Chickenfoot, and that's that."
Now that's exciting!!! More bluesy too - WOOT!!

Liverpoolians sounds much funnier though and the sound of it kinda matches the unique sense of humour of scousers. Having said that, half of the scousers i've met have been puddled!

What's the deal with Black Country Communion? I mean, these guys release a record back in September and they have yet to do a proper tour behind it, or even announce one for that matter. I think they've done just a handful of shows in the UK. Joe Bonamassa has already announced his next solo album and 2011 tour, so I wouldn't expect to hear anything out of BCC for quite a while longer, either.
Just wondering if they released the record with the intention of not touring behind it or waiting a couple years or what their idea was. Personally I think there are only about 2 songs on that album that are worth hearing live, but I'm sure I'm in the minority there. Apparently they are already recording their second album, due out summer 2011.
I also notice that Bonamassa brought in a few guest vocalists on the new album, including Glenn Hughes. I am a much bigger fan of his solo work than the BCC stuff. Pre-orders for "Dust Bowl" start Feb. 4th, and will be shipped a week before release date!
Ian
*EDIT- Pip- Thanks for the news!
