Did I miss something or did something happen to Bob Dylan's throat/voice? The performance was good, but his voice was sooo gravelly and harsh. Watching the Grammys. What a bunch of horse shit already. Best Rock Album. Four rock icons and one new mo band. Who do you think won? Absolutely rigaddamndiculous! The highlight so far after almost 2 hours was a little speech from Aretha Franklin. I love her dearly, but whoever tells her she looks good in a strapless dress needs a good bitch slap. lol!
NY - WOOT!
JB - WOOT!!
Fatape, are you up for doing belly shots?
lol!

Well I didn't get flowers this Valentine's Day. Mr Skip posted a message on a big LCD billboard in the city. Very cool.
Happy Valentines Day to all.

So on Ebay I found 2 js1000s one for $620 and another for $800. I also found a Transparent Blue JS1000 for $1100.
But I cannot find a JS1200 on Ebay.
I don't really care if its used, I just don't wanna pay $1800.
As long as its in pretty good condition, I want it.
My current guitar's output jack is worn out and doesn't work. My old guitar doesn't stay tuned for more than 3 seconds. Anyone know how much it is to fix the output jack?

Couple of bucks, do it yourself for free, send it into a shop, its an easy enough thing to fix
i never thought there was that much difference in the 1200 and 1000, but then again im lefthanded and only every played the 1000 upsidedown for a few mins

The wedding test
I was a very happy man. My wonderful girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. There was only one little thing bothering me...It was her beautiful younger sister.
My prospective sister-in-law was twenty-two, wore very tight mini skirts, and generally was bra-less. She would regularly bend down when she was near me, and I always got more than a nice view. It had to be deliberate. Because she never did it when she was near anyone else.
One day her 'little' sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations.
She was alone when I arrived, and she whispered to me that she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome. She told me that she wanted me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister.
Well, I was in total shock, and couldn't say a word.
She said, 'I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want one last wild fling, just come up and get me.'
I was stunned and frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. I stood there for a moment, then turned and made a beeline straight to the front door. I opened the door, and headed straight towards my car.
Lo and behold, my entire future family was standing outside, all clapping!
With tears in his eyes, my father-in-law hugged me and said, 'We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.'
And the moral of this story is:
Always keep your condoms in your car.

My first guitar ever was a Squier Stratocaster, lasted 5 or 6 years before it had any problems, then I got an Ibanez RG5EX1 and it has been great for several years. Now the Ibanez has the output problem.
I haven't played the strat for a long time. But it was my first guitar and I will never get rid of it, and my Ibanez is signed by Joe and it would take a serious situation for me to get rid of it.
I am looking to upgrade, but considering I am 18 and only make $2000 a year working part time, I don't want to spend an entire years pay on one item. Hopefully I can afford $1000 on a JS but not the js100 I have seen poor reviews about it. so I would like the 1200 but the 1000 might be better for the price as long as its used. Guitar Center has both of them the 1200 is $50 than the 1000. Ebay has used 1000s from $600 and up, no 1200s though.
There is no better place to look for advice on a Satriani guitar than here on T2J so tell me what you guys think.

OK I fixed my guitar. Just needed to resolder a loose wire.
But I am still interested in a JS, but it might have to wait a little while.
Oh well, I can still dream of it.

Well, if they would appropriately change the name of the show to The Shitty Music Award show, it would make much more sense than it does now.
Did anyone take notice when the record of the year award was announced. Neil Young's wife (?) looked at him and said "You were right!" Neil Young, Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, and Muse, and Muse won - hence - The Shitty Music Award Show.
Let's make some more fitting names for The Grammy's.
The Cheese Awards (no offecne Chee)
The All Flash & No Substance Awards
The Most Popular Music of the Out Crowd Awards
Oy geez! Grammy Schmammy!
