Wonder how show #1 is going? I'm excited to hear all about it.

I'll have to read about it tomorrow. I have lovely guitar medleys in my head and I must go sleep on them.

Thanks al!

The first Chickenfoot gig has probably been over for half an hour or so by now, so... If you're reading this and you were there, well, how was it? :-)

About how many Chickenfoot songs did they do? How many covers? What time did they actually go on, and how long was the show?

Questions, questions...

...Austin...

I will say that they played the entire album plus an encore of Bad Motor Scooter and Highway Star.

I can say the first chickenfoot show was SO AWESOME!!

Joe, thanks so much for signing my JS1200! That really meant a lot to me, been wanting one of your guitars since I was a kid. Got one last year and now it's signed! So cool! Too bad I couldn't be there to meet you, good thing my dad had it covered :)

Great show!

Ps, I'm glad "highway star" stuck out in rehearsals. Your solo was KILLER man!

Skipping Girl - Thanks for the linky. BTW what's the female equivalent of cobber?

Cappy Steve - well....cobber has faded out of the Aussie vernacular pretty much, whereas "mate" has become gender-neutral so I would say mate for either male or female.

For example, I went out with my mates last night, who are all female.

However to address me, you could use "gorgeous rock chick guitar shredder".

Skipper- GRCGS for short? Enjoy the weekend mate, and thank you for that picture linky of the 1st Chickenfoot gig.

Roy- No chance of Mikey playin' that monster but I have seen his have the same look on his face while ripping the giant bottle of Jack Daniels to shreds.

Enjoy your day and the weekend everyone and congrats to those who were able to see Chickenfoot in Seattle.

I just searched you tube for "gorgeous rock chick guitar shredder" and THIS is what we get...
Top new name, I can see this sticking.

Did anyone else notice the pics of the JS CF guitar from that link of GRCGS.

So if we're getting the full album and bonus track plus a two-song encore, that's probably about a 90-minute show time...right? Can anyone who was there confirm? I think I prefer this to fewer Chickenfoot songs and covers from everyone else thrown in the mix... Can't wait for SF (and LA)!

Walla - Awesome...thanks for sharing your thoughts on the show. :-)

HEY EVERYONE!!!

I hope all of you are staying out of mischief. I've been on the run for the past couple of weeks now, especially running season. I have my next points race this Saturday: The Warbird Road Race (10K Run). I have to go pick up my registration packet later today and later tonight, my running group and I are going to get together and hang out. Wish me luck Saturday.

Do The Stu: I'm not finding any music from The Squares as of yet. I'm still looking.

Skippygirl: You are a rock guitar chick no matter what. How's the guitar playing and exercising around the oval going for you?

Zinc Master: My results are still not posted from the Indy-Mini. I might have to call them and hopefully get this figured out.

TO EVERYONE: I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't preordered any of Chickenfoot's albums yet, but I should when I have this time. I have already signed up for more races this summer, which is awesome. Doing a marathon is still in question.

I have also started looking for another job. I plan on continuing hospitality and decided to try to work another job along with my job at the Holiday Inn. I have done it before for a short period of time.

However, I am too dependable/reliable for my hotel job. I even come in on my days off and I sacrifice my time with my running group to work because those who were scheduled can't make it, which my boss then calls me. My boss even schedules me on the days I have my running races, even though I gave him a list of the races I'm going to do, which frustrates me. The only good part is that I get paid overtime. I can't be there all the time and my boss (hopefully) should know that.

Well, I gotta run now. I have to get some lunch, pick up my race packet for tomorrow morning's race and another job application, then meet with my running group. Talk with you all later.
