I went to Guitar Center this morning. Tried out a Pearl Demon double bass pedal. WOW! I never realized pedals made that much difference. That thing is super sensitive. I ordered a DW 3000 double off Ebay which DW is known for thier smooth operation. I just hope it is half as smooth as the Demon.

Skippy- I am working on compiling some pictures to put together a MySpace page. My plans are to link them with my existing duck hunting site beaverdamduckhunts.com which is supposed to be updated by my designer already. I don't know what's up there. I am also working on another website for another business. I plan to link them all together to a My Space project which will allow me to keep my customers updated. I will also have a music page and hopefully get into posting some vids. You know strangely not many photos of me exist I guess because I am always the one with the camera. I promise they are coming as soon as I get time to work on it.

Looks like I wont make the jam session tomorrow nite :-( because I will be back in the field :-) :-) That's a double big smile. But I did restring my RG this evening in case I get a chance to sneak off early.

Good nite everyone. Best wishes.

I think I need to pay Pip or Mckenna to record some backing tracks for my vids. Those guys can come up with 5 recordings before I can do 1. I recorded an original and finally faded it out @ less than 2 minutes because I was exhausted. At that rate I'll have a vid on My Space by 2012 LOL. I want to set up triggers on my drums to record the drum tracks myself. I did find a guy who builds a nice trigger but it requires either leaving the bottom head off or drilling holes in the shells to accomodate the large jacks. If I go that route I will probably just by some crappy old drums and not drill the DLXs. After all the triggers and module will make a coffee can sound great.

Also @ guitar center they had a Tama snare drum custom built for the drummer for Evanescence. his name escapes me, but I absolutely fell in love with that drum. I have been looking at the Chad Smith signature snares on Ebay but would love to hear one. 359 reasons I did not buy the drum.$$$ done spent too much on music crap lately. But at 359 bucks it was a good deal.

After getting pieces of the online Chickenfoot clips stuck in my brain for a few weeks i decided to plunk down my 10 bucks for the preorder. my test for any new album is if i walk around humming parts of a tune for days on end, its either good or annoying as hell. i'm betting on good right now so well see. I'll post back after i get my copy. heres to hoping it's solid!

Hello Everyone.

I've been busy as usual with work and running. I had a 12K Run last Saturday. My time was 48 minutes and 21 seconds. I was 26th out of 237 and 10th out of 27 in my age division.

Work is coming along. Tomorrow, we have a wedding at our hotel. I also put in my job applications at some other places. I haven't received any phone calls as of yet. One reason why is that my rent has gone up $20 starting next month. I also have put together a new budget plan for myself.

Punkdude75: Congrats on your BIG day! I wish the best for the both of you.

GottahaveJoe: Congrats on graduating & the scholarship. Best of luck to you at college. I got my Associates in Business at my college.

Do The Stu: Glad to hear you're doing well. What's new with you? Happy "Belated" Birthday by the way.

Cosmic_ape: Happy "Belated" Birthday to you. How are thins going for you?

Skippygirl: I hear you girl! It's just that my work is getting the best of me. I pretty much do most of the work in my department and I'm flexible for anyone in the workplace. All this work is making me tired and I have been trying to stay healthy and not get ill. I try not to let it get the best of me and not let it interfere with my running. How are things going with you?

Cheese101, GoldenGirl2, & Michelle: I hope things are going well with you and your family. How are you ladies doing?

Blue_Moon: What's going on with you?

js1200js1000: Congrats on your continuation on no alcohol. I haven't had any alcoholic drink for the pastthree months now. How are you and the family doing.

Elpp: What's up amigo?

Joe: Congrats to all of your accomplishments with Chickenfoot. Keep up the excellent work and tell everyone hi for me. Hope you guys might stop by sometime.

Well, I better stop now. Keep in touch everyone. I'll write back soon.

OMMFG peeps - WHAT A SHOW!!! That was so much effin fun! Seeing Joe SING and have so much fun was...well, so much fun!! He was on FIIIIII-YAHHHH! Nice Jeans too Joe if yer reading this. lol! Chad was totally kickin' so much ass! I think I watched him as much as I watched Joe. Feckin sticks flying everywhere. lol! He even pulled up a girl from the audience who was using her juggies as a stick holder. lmao! She got to sit next to his kit for a few tunes and be his human stick holder. She put them in her "jug holder", and he'd pull them out. He was going through a lot of sticks for some reason at that point too. lmao!!

Mega thanks to Mari who gave me not 1, but 2 sticks that she caught. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy my hands were shaking. Okay...I was so happy I gave her a kiss on the cheek! lol! She had a stick from the NY gig at home, so she gave them to me. She was in front of me, and they were flying right at her. lol!

Totally fucking awesome!

Sammy - holy shit man, what can ya say about Sammy! His energy is incredible, his pipes are unbeatable, and he still puts on a show better than a guy 30 years younger than him. Mike was just awesome. I couldn't see him because of the lights and peeps in my way when he stood on his side of the stage, but he moved around a lot, so i FINALLY got to see the one and only Michael Anthony play bass. His voice is killer, and his bass playing stellar!

The standing in line thing was such a clusterfuck. They made us wait down the block on this tiny street so we wouldn't block the businesses that were open. Some peeps were there since 12:00. We got there with maybe 15 ppl already in line. Not bad IMO. After a while it started to rain. That sucked! Mari was nice enough to go to her car which was parked nearby and grab 3 umbrellas. She gave me one, which eventually made rounds with a bunch of the peeps in line who were stuck holding their spots in the rain. It made it back to us, and I returned it to Mari before CF hit the stage. THANKS MARI! Needless to say, ppl got the shits of standing in the rain so some of us drifted off to nearby bars (dive bars) to have some drinks and food. We all jockeyed back to our spots right before it was time to get tix at the will call. We were originally told we could get tix at 4:00, then they said no, sorry - 7:00! Great.

7:00 is when the chaos started. Nobody knew where to stand. VIP's at the window, will call peeps back up the block. Then peeps were lining up at the window for will call. They thought they were first in line. lmao! Nah-uh! They made them walk down the street to us and get in the BACK of the line...and man were they pissed!

Ppl started all gathering around the front of the line like they were there all day. Security eventually got it right and listened to the peeps who were there all day verifying who else was there - and who wasn't. They finally let 8 peeps go up to the window at one time. When it was my turn, they gave me 4 tix. I got inside and I was like wtf?? I only got 2. I wonder if Stephen Gonzalez ever got into the show. I gave his tix back, and the lady at the door first tole me to just take them and go. I tole her that the guy is gonna come for his tix and they won't be there!! wtf! She finally took them from me and gave them back to the guy at the window.

The rest is Chickenfoot history!

Zf:Y have mail.On pickups for strat, i wish i had a box full of all the different kinds of pickups at my disposal t choose which tone i prefer ...its a hit or miss affair that can be incredibly frustrating & expensive!

On strat i,ve had HS3, YMJ & Texas Specials, so far the T Specials win, they bring out the tone of a strat & are pretty much noiseless due t the mid pickup being reverse wound & the guitar having an earth t the trem AND body. The HS3 & YJM are a smooth low output noiseless crystal clean stacked single coil so they act like a humbucker, no 60 cycle hum, excellent for Overdriven shredstuff, the YJM havin a lil more mid & treble but.... no strat 2 & 4 position funky blues quack tones here, bit of a 1 trick pony i,m afraid :(

I settled for Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck humbuck,s & a S Duncan quarter pound s/c set real low on the Yamey way back.I figured if y rolled the JBeck tone dice i couldnt really go wrong...it paid off

Cube:You have the JB Strat, how do the JB s/coils compare t the others?¿

mama M:Good times hon, great y met up with Mari 2!

Just wanted to say that the show at the Fillmore in NYC was AWESOME! Everyone knows Joe is an awesome player, but Chickenfoot has brought out an entirely different dimension in Joe's playing, IMO. It was quite apparent there was no holding Joe, Chad & Mike back on Thursday PM. The show totally rocked! See ya at the Beacon in August. Thanks guys!

Slansh : i will check later email. I'm onto studio & just finished to fight with recording an exhaustive rock prog composition. Still have to prepare a little thing for cube, have to go to shopping food, aspirate home.

About pickups, i need noiseless ones, because i used to play with pedal pickup booster Seymour Ducan. It gives power to the Strat, but also to all sort of suck factors. Very difficult to control with standard pickups & overdrive.

Of course, i think about the Beck experience.. i'll see later.

Cube : I prepare to you a small surprise.
