DiMarzio launch new artist pickups
The pickup company has launched the DiMarzio Billy Corgan BC-1 & BC-2, the DiMarzio Andy Timmons AT-1, and reintroduced the Steve Morse Neck and Bridge model pickups. These are the same custom signature pickups in the artists' guitars.

Just back from my mates 40th in Scotland, dude thought i couldnt make it, the combination of that & the custom strat i built him blew his mind....so good times.Bit scary looking at all the photos when i was a young un tho, talk about a reality check!!

Was also the annual folk festival in my village Moniave, amazing t meet up with old band members n mates from over the years, whole heap of incredible talent has passed through Martin Taylor, Stefan Grossman etc also just learnt from the Marquee club link Joe Satriani played the last London Marquee gig on 18th July 1988 b4 it was knocked down!

Defo goin t grab the axe n head across next year

The new Paul Gilbert & Freddie Nelson release is out.

I found it on iTunes this morning.

It is called United States - will be buying it from iTunes in a few minutes - just finished listening to the 30 second clips - most are pretty good.

slansh

good times excellent

BTW, I saw YJM at the Marquee just after Alcatrazz and when the Rising Force album was released. (1985) A Huge queue had formed coz the punters thought it was a Springsteen concert, playing under the Pseudonym of Yngwie Malmsteen. The club had to send a dude out with the Rising Force album to walk up and down the line splaining it wasn't Bruce (who was in the UK at the time either just having played or about to play Slane castle). Bwahahaha some sad faces when they found out it wasn't Bruce.... Anyhoo, saw Viv Campbell and John Sykes amongst others there to see his Yngwieness.. Also the Status Quo boyz, but I don't think anything rubbed off on them LMBFAO....

Glad you had a great time and a break back home....

Now that's what I call hair....or maybe it's just too much hairspray ??

Igneous - it doesn't run as slow in Firefox, but I guess it gets hit pretty heavy seeing as it's so popular at the mo. As for songs going out of the head when the camera is on - Joseph says just stay focussed : ) That's why most of mine are just jam sessions LOL

Guitarvibes - thanks for the Buckethead clip. Nice!

Burly - "..I am following some of you, so don't stop too quickly...." ... ha ha, good one

I've pointed at Marco Iacobini on T2J in the past. Now I have the album There's Hope by another great Italian guitarplayer called Marco Sfogli. Some of you may know him as guitarist on singer James LaBrie (Dream Theater) his solo album and band. Here's an interview with Mr. Sfogli and you can also find him on Youtube.

Just watched a DVD with this guy in, may have mentioned him before but: Malcolm Jones.

Crazy day today! Signed a very small pledge to Greenpeace and almost got run down by a crazy woman and man who said he called the police to come and arrest the "illegal" greenpeace loiterers who he said had no business 'pushing' peitiions on unsuspecting people. I told them if they wanted to call the police to go ahead. We aren't causing any trouble and I don't care if they think we are radical liberals with socialist ideas or ideals. This is still the United States of America and as far as I know we still have freedom of assembly and freedom of speech in this country, unless these amendments to the constitution changed overnight! I stood up to them and they just drove away yelling all kinds of weird shit at me. Insane, mad people in this country!

Stop the world, I wanna get off---too many right-wing conservative noise makers/trouble makers in this world! What are they ingesting?

Ghosts?

I have been very slack in buying "ghosts" bonus track. I just decided to do it today - believe it or not...

However, I cannot find it! It is not available on iTunes Australia and I cannot find it on any other site for purchase.

Can someone please point me to a source? Prefer to buy it so Joe get's his cut.

Thanks, Roo
