Zen:Painfully true but surely any self-respecting human being can see what the english did t Eire & others in the name of her majesty was wrong & should give back t its people whats rightfully theirs with apology.

I remember being called an IRA sympathizer when i,d come home from Dublin...the only thing i,d done wrong was live in the country for 5 years and enjoy working with her people.I was looked on as a traitor for standing up for the republic in a barful of hateful queen loving orangemen even now some back home look at me with loathing, feckin ignorant brits there,s no reasoning with them

Hi all, quick question. I've been listening to Satch for about 20 years now and have virtually every recording he's ever made. However, I just came across a version of Pachelbel's "Canon" on youtube that is claimed to be recorded by Joe. Can anyone (Joe!) confirm this? I can't seem to find anything that verifies the fact that Joe ever recorded this song.

I love this song and would be thrilled to learn that Joe recorded this amazing version. Where can the recording be found for purchase?

Do The Stu - don't know if this has already been posted but this vid of Bitten By The Wolf is GREAT, just look at Joe having such a great time and subsequent vids, the guy taking the footage was right in front of Joe at the Roxy.

Man it's just all sex on fire LOL.

Pip - well there's some imagery for us all :0).

roo - thanks for pointing that out to the world, BTW how did you get 4 copies of Oh Yeah?????

Come on Chicago HTF was it????????

igneous...if you look at Sammy's mic stand from the side, you can easily see it's in the shape of an "R"....fer the Red Rocker :) Very cool I think!!

Scanloni, to the best of my knowledge, Joe has never done that song but many, many times he's credited (wrongly) with it.

Pip, Joe was smiling no matter who showed up, but lemme tell u....dem wimmens tried to push their way to the front, not only outside but inside the venue and not a single person was having it!! We all paid our dues standing in line outside fer 8 hours before the show.....if they wanted to be that close, they shuda shown up early too.

Austin, I guess given the choice, I'da chosen wimmens over pee too, LOL!! That's just NAAAAAASTY!! I hate when people go to a concert just so they can get drunk and slobber or pee all over other peoples' good time!

You made an awfully strong statement there when u said you don't even wanna listen to VH anymore, Chickenfoot is that good....WOO WOO!!!

I know it's not even 7 am here yet, but in Chicago it's almost 9:00, idn't it?

C'MAN CHICAGO PEEPS, HOW WAS THE SHOW??

Austin, we'll go out for that onion ring tower sometime in the future... There's a place right here on Hollywood Blvd. that sells great onion rings, I'd say they come in a close second place...

I love Outback... Cheap themed steakhouses are hit and miss, but if you're patient you can tell what's good on each restaurant... For example, everybody's got a decent filet, but prime ribs are so and so at best...

You can't beat the real deal, but those are getting harder to find... sigh... in the meantime, I've bought a cast iron skillet for steak cooking, and it's THE bomb!!!

Regarding the Tonight Show, I don't know if it'll be the same with Conan (that will be his first week so I'll have plenty of time to find out), but usually the drill is they give the tickets away at the studios around 8 in the morning, then depending on how famous the people appearing that night are, people will start gathering up right away or come back later after lunch...

The taping is uninterrupted and starts at four, which means you're leaving Burbank around five and you know traffic in this town! Taking the 101N to 405S might be a fast way to get there, but it's rush hour! So, idk... It'll be a perfect way to go check out Conan's new studio though (I heard it'll be bigger that Jay's which takes over 300 people), and it's 10 minutes from my house so I'm tempted... I guess I should start looking into it to see if it can be done...

I just hope the other guests are not too famous because I'll have one class that day that I can't skip so I won't be able to wait in line for six hours... CF alone will draw a large crowd...

We wouldn't be able to tape anything there, so that's a drag... I don't know how the Best Buy people will be handling that situation, but I'm pretty sure cameras are allowed. I happened to go there one day after work and I saw people camping outside and I was like WTF it's not Black Friday peoples! Then I walk in and I see a big sign saying that there was going to be an exclusive New Kids on the Block in store appearance (apparently I traveled time and I went all the way back to 1991!)... so after having flashbacks of a much less flattering time (these ladies were dressed in character), I decided to not buy my silly video game and just get the f*** out, lol... Those "fake" teenagers had cameras on their hands and it was no biggie...

So, anyway... I'm off to celebrate my 26th birthday with Mrs. Ape... Don't wait up, kids...

Guitarvibes--You have mail.

Good mornin' T2Jers.

Point well taken about smoking anything at an indoor venue. I'm surprised Fillmore staff people didn't talk to these people. I guess it wouldn't have done any good. If the place had caught fire--it would have been a disaster! As it happened, these people around us left about a half-hour to an hour early and we got to see the band more clearly. What puzzled me is that one or two joints weren't enough. It seemed like these ppls lit up 4, 5 or more times during the 3 hours. Shows what happens in a suppressed society I guess! I would that marijuana were legal and regulated by the FDA (and a reformed one that uses common sense instead of pure politics).

Same old same old... I wont say anything incase Stephen has a little bitchy hissy fit again

The marquee is a pretty popular music festival in the Irish Summer runs for 2 weeks or so with a lot of acts and gigs... since chickenfoot are doing festivals all over europe thats why they're doing Cork, it fits into the schdule and theme of things

and as for smoking, my sister arrives home at 6am decides to stay up and piss about for 2 hours then decides to go to the bathroom about 6 times asking me do i mind if they smoke in her room to which i replied "yes" i can smell it and its not particularly nice when i try to sleep, she cant walk quietly around the house and slams every door as she closes it... but then she opens a window which adds the banging door and blind to the mix as she continues to smoke... then does it all again at 12pm , im not a happy bunny today... and she doesnt wash her hand after she pees :-O ...now i smell like smoke... great, theres my little story for today

great night/mornings sleep here

Tracie--Thank you for the upside down setlist!!

Alan Mc--Why doesn't your sister show you respect by quieting down at night to let you sleep? So much for siblings being friends!! My older sister and younger sister were and still are my friends after all the years of good times, struggles, disagreements and confidences. Our love is based on respect and mutual admiration for each other.

I wish I could get you away from Ireland for awhile. Maybe your absence from home would help your sister appreciate you better. If it were possible....

thank you guys...

quick note, there's no room left for the Tonight Show... you have to request tickets online in advance and they are already taking requests for the second week of July... that sucks because if you wanna go you never know who's gonna be on and if you only have one day to go and if you don't get tickets for that exact same day, then you're out of luck... Or in this case, nobody knows who's gonna be on til last minute...

I prefer the way Jay Leno did it... They are moving the show to Universal property so I guess the have to change the policy too... whatever...

scuba....no idea on the pedal....the monitors were pretty much blocking his pedal board from view unless u were 7 ft tall and could see over them.

If I had to guess at Joe's next pedal coming out though I'd guess it would be a chorus. Just my guess.

Millie, I have no idea who took that setlist pic or why it ended up upside down, but u can choose to rotate it if u want.

Mc....u might try...like....sleeping....when it's still dark out, like many others do....that way when she does tumble in at 6 am, u've already had a good nights sleep...then when she's tryin to finally sleep YOU can start slammin doors, playin loud guitar, etc. Dunt that sound like a plan? LOL!!

SISTERS!!! Never had any, but my two brothers wuz mean to meh when I wuz lil, lol!
