Hi everyone...

The show was AWESOME. The energy level may have been the highest I've seen at a Satch-related gig in a long time. The only thing I can think of that comes close is the buzz that was in the air at the show that was recorded for the LISF CD and DVD.

The crowd's response after the first song (Avenida Revolution) might be the loudest I've ever heard at a Satch gig.

It was very nice hanging out with Tracie, Chris, Brian and Debbie again, and meeting GoldenGirl2 and her husband. Webmaster Jon found me in line and said hey, as well. There were several cameras filming the show...this footage (along with Seattle) will no doubt be used for something cool.

Jeff Campitelli was at the gig...we said hello to him outside after the gig, and I politely bugged him to finish his website. ;-) I walked back to my car shortly after that...and as I walked into the parking garage Jeff was just driving away. I did a double-take, and his window was down so he waved and said goodbye...haha.

I'll be back Monday night with more details on the show (the setlist was the same as the previous gigs), and then it's off to the LA gig on Tuesday.

...Austin...

JSPhil: Yup, me being daft :) Thought it was good, Hopkins really was the absolute best thing in it though. The presence he had, the delivery of lines, the 'ssss' thing....Words cannot describe it :)

In pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name.

Example, the trade name is Tylenol and it's generic name is Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra.

After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer.

It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails', 'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'. Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day:

There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

Austin, Tracie, Chris and other T2Jers who were at Fillmore gig last night---Thanks so much for your hospitality and educating Steve and me and encouraging me to keep upmost in mind the rules/ethics of waiting in line and helping me reach out to others while waiting for the doors to open. Your outreach helped Steve and me feel welcome and helped raise my consciousness out of worry, anxiety and depression for the evening.

Thanks to Ed, Randy, Chris and others who stood in line ahead of us and talked wtih us about other artists gigs they had been to. Chris had a hilarious surfboard story that she told about a surfboard shop in Santa Monica--a guy who makes custom surfboards and his wild designs!

Chickenfoot were awesome, kicked ass and shook my shoes and socks off!! Michelle--I didn't even think to glue them on like you said way back in an earlier post!!

Joooooooooooooooooooeee! Joooooooooooooooooeeeee! Oh, man! I couldn't help myself! After the first song and a brief pause, I JUST COULDN'T HOLD BACK! I found myself calling at the top of my lungs his name......The guitar riffs, phrases, lines, sentences.....I just couldn't help myself!!

There is no experience like seeing Joe live with Sammy Hagar, Mike Anthony, and Chad Smith-----Rock solid rockers and a solid, chunky, funky band with a dynamic that is beyond what I've seen and heard before!!

This is my first Joe concert, my 2nd concert in a year (ZplaysZappa was first), lots of firsts here!!

Steve had a great time too! He was laughing at my antics!

Every song including the 2 encores made me raise my hands to the sky! And the love song that Joe wrote----it touched my heart!

Thank you Alan McKenna for your recommendation of Hearos for ear protection. Steve and I left the show without buzzing ears! (I hope this isn't what Sammy meant by "get your buzz on"!)

Thanks to Joe, Sammy, Mikey and Chad---You guys rocked the foundations of the Fillmore and surrounded us in your sphere of joy, love and inclusion in the best of humanity and how 4 different personalities can come together to create something unique, solid, substantial and awesomely beautiful!! ;-D
