Thanks for the offer - but no thanks. Fort Wayne is a good hike for me. Will probably stick to the other races around me for the fall.

It's time for Chickenfoot in LA! If you're reading this and will be there, look for me in line and say hey. And if you happen to be reading this, satchblues, I emailed you with my phone number. Call me once you're in line if you can't find me...

I'll be back with a full report on both SF and LA. :-)

Pip - nice job on Satch Boogie, now I get it about the pants...

Thanks SkippyGirl, but I'd probably get hungry and accidentally eat it, I cannot risk it.

I'm in Melbourne next week, I've emailed the guy to check out the JS Chromey when I'm down there.

It's the same one that was up a few months ago I think, cannot see the photos at work, will have a look tonight to be sure.

Glitz Man - 40 Min is a really good 10 K time. I am jealous. I run but I don't have a lot of speed. I run about 8 minute miles. Which I guess at 40 and not being able to breath very well through my nose is pretty good. I have never made if past 5 miles. My lungs can only handle so much without breathing through the nose.

The job is good. I am blessed because I still work and so does my wife. So, even with all the little daily garbage that flies my way, I still consider myself a very lucky man.

How's everything in your world?

ax--I got the big HTTP 404 NOT FOUND when I clicked on the link you posted.

Austin and Tracie--What was the #11 song on CF's setlist on Sunday night? I wasn't sure what #8 was either until I read a post about the double-neck guitar and Bitten by the Wolf....I think that was the song.....please confirm.

My favorite songs were all of them; however, Avenida Revolucion, Soap on a rope, Down the Drain (especially the beginning dialog between Sammy's voice and Joe's guitar), Learning to Fall, The Future's In the Past AND both encores with the Chickenfoot comedy show (episode ?) "The water fight" or "Chadley gives Sammy an H20 blast!" That was funny. Although the guitar techs and other staff ppl may not have appreciated it (water and electricity don't mix very well).

Guitarvibes--You were right about Joseph! He leaves no doubt as to who is master electric guitarist in the 21st century!

Blue_Moon--What ya waitin' fer? Get over here and enjoy the sunshine! It's strawberry season and watermelon season and all kinds of melons season and artichoke season and people watching season because ppl take off their clothes or wear less as the weather gets warmer!!! Lots of half naked people walking around just waiting to be looked at! LOL! Come on young man, what's holdin' ya up?

Chee101--I thought about you when I saw this goofy bumper sticker on a pickup truck on El Camino Real: "My son is inmate of the month at Pelican Bay State Penitentiary"! I thought about you because if I drove up to Oregon on Hwy 101, I would pass that place up near the border! lol! Steve and I were laughing our arses off when we first saw that thing. I think that driver guy wins luni of the year! Or he wants ppl to stay far away from him! LOL! He prolly doesn't even have a son is my guess.....If you know of any funnier sticker statements, please let me know!

I haven't landed from Sunday night yet........Joe and his guitars are heaven!!!!!!!

Ya ever see those bumper stickers that brag about all the places you've been? Here on the east coast a few years back they were all over the place. CM, OBX, NYC, OC, AC... I hated them, so I got one for my car. It read FU

:-)

Surprised? I didn't think so. lol!

Skippy - Salamat Pagi to you mate, although you'll have to clue me in on the translation. That could be dirty for all I know.

Hope you all are having fun, just scanned through 5 pages, been out a while, very busy.

Roy kids are great, I'm a grandfather, that is the greatest thing. My grandson and I are real buddies. I have 2 daughters and boys are much easier to raise. Love 'em all though.

Good night mates!! Time for La La Land.

Do the Stu--In answer to your earlier question about Satch albums and DVDs, I have all except 5:

The Beautiful Guitar 1993 Additional Creations 2000 G3 Live in Tokyo 2005 Surfing with the Alien - Legacy Edition 2007 One Big Rush ????

I'm not sure what year the last one was released. I remember getting suggestions about where to get these--Rasputin and Streetlight Records just to name two and of course Amazon.com, etc.

Glitzman: No working for me for a long while. Not with the double ulcer on my right foot! Guitar is going great. I have two new ones to mess with, a Maestro/Gibson les paul jr, single pick-up hardtail, and a dt350fg "Star" Ibanez. I had to do alot of rebuilding and remanufacturing parts to make it work right. Still a good little number. 5 Ibanez guitars in my collection, 12 all told, including my bass and two acoustics,a steel string and a clasical. Good luck on those runs!

Austin was texting me fer a bit....he said he loves the lazy LA people, he got to the Roxy in line around 4 pm and he was FIRST!! That woulda saved me about 5 hours of standing around in San Fran, lol!! He saw Joe, Mike and Chad arrive but they pretty much zipped in....and was listening to some of the sound check stuff.

He's in fer a helluva time!! Times two, lol! Dammit!!

Learning to Fall...Sammy talked about what it was about...it's about taking enough risk to allow yourself to fall in love, as scary as it can be. It's a gorgeous song.

My Kind of Girl....turns out it's about single moms who get up every day, take care of their kid(s) and the house and the job, and turn around and get up the very next day to do it all over again. I pretty much liked that song, wonder why, LOL!!

Joe is singing some back-up vocals....I was wondering...if Sammy is a little bit intimidated to play guitar in front of Joe, and if Joe is a little bit intimidated at singing in front of Sammy. Either way, these 4 guys make magic :)

Got my son moved today, to what he calls the "mansion". Just got home a titch ago, he sent me a video of what he got done in his place during my two hour drive home, it's lookin good and he's too pooped to blink he sez, LOL! High hopes this all goes well for him...and he starts his job on July 1st. His entire two bedrooms and bathroom with JACUZZI tub and TWO walk in closets and private covered wrap-around deck.....is as big as my entire frickin house, LOL!!

He's very excited, so am I...and we're also exhausted :)

Nats.
