Just a heads-up to those who are watching the Chickenfoot podcasts through iTunes... Day 9 had an error in the filename, so it didn't automatically download for subscribers. I just emailed the webmaster and he's fixing it...in the meantime, we can get it here.

Phydeaux_3 - Hi...it's cool to see you here again.

What have you been up to recently? Seen any good concerts? Discovered any new bands?

hybes - I'm sure that concert will be streaming on Hulu for quite a while...so just keep checking. Also, if you have the TV channel Fuse, they're airing a DMB documentary in four parts for the rest of the week.

A lot of fans seem to love the new album...I don't think it's near the level of their best work, but it's better than a lot of what they've done recently so that's good. It's a definite step in the right direction. And with their sax player dying last year, it's lucky we have a new album at all. So I'll take it.

I'm still working on your bootlegs, but another project got in the way...I'll email you tonight.

GoldenGirl2 - I'm glad to hear Steve is OK...it's good that they noticed the problem early on before it got out of hand and caused larger problems. Please keep us updated...
wolf2 - Did I read that right? You heard Chickenfoot's Oh Yeah on the radio? Cool!
Listening to: Stabbing Westward - Wither, Blister, Burn & Peel (current song: So Wrong)

DTS - I've been busy as a bugger. I'm a bus driver now, for about 2 years. Best job I've ever had... beats the hell outta working! Kids are growing up, Annie is 5 & Max is 2. I turn 40 tomorrow... can anybody say mid-life crisis? LOL!

Yes, I have discovered something wonderful.. dude's name is That 1 Guy & he is just incredible. He plays the "Magic Pipe" (homemade instrument) like nobody's business. He & Buckethead did an album together called The Frankenstein Brothers, totally blows my mind. They are taking music to new frontiers.
More later...

Also, BOTH of my local radio stations are playing ChicKenfoot (Chez 106 & Virgin) a LOT.

smooches,

Joe,

My dad and I are huge fans and we just saw your Chickenfoot concert in Philadelphia. I think the rest of the band may have drowned you out a little, so we are anxiously awaiting the CD which will bring your virtuoso guitar playing to the front. Still the concert was amazing as were you. My dad is turning 70 on July 12th and he may be up there as one of your oldest fans. He was in such pain Friday night at the concert from "old age" I guess, but his pain seemed to go away when you started playing. We met you personally once before at your own concert in Baltimore and my dad still talks about to this day. You signed a few CD's. It would be great if you could sign a picture and wish my father a Happy 70th Birthday. My dad's nickname is Bones. You can email me perosnally at moneymandave@yahoo.com with any questions thanks. Can't wait for your next album after Chickenfoot.

Hello everybody!

I just got an e-mail from Best Buy. My Chickenfoot purchases have been packed & shipped today. I am excited and can't wait to receive it.

I have been running more now, since I have some days off and working more in the mornings. I did an easy run yesterday, despite the humid weather here. I put in 17 miles, which felt awesome. There are a couple of races this month, but I have not made any decisions if I will do it. One of them is on Father's Day, but I could be working because a customer made a reservation in our hotel restaurant for her family (40-45 people).

Zinc Master: I enjoyed that funny story about the husband trying to go to the bar and the wife having all the essentials to keep him home. Have you been running lately?

Do The Stu: One of my friends at work and I enjoy DMB. I like to see them in concert sometime.

Phydeaux_3: Happy 40th Birthday to you. What are you planning on doing on your big day?

GoldenGirl2: I am glad to hear that Steve is continuing to do well. I see you have found a couple more of Joe's CDs. If you like me to search the others, I can help out for you. Prayers to you both.

Cheese 101: That is awesome that your Best Buy stuff has been shipped already. Mine was shipped today.

Michelle: Hope yours will be shipped soon. BTW, I liked your idea of Chickenfoot shot glasses.

Skippygirl: Need a word from you on what's happening.

JS_JS: Great to hear from you. What have you been doing?

Guitarvibes: How would you rate Chickenfoot's music on a scale from 1-10 (10 being best)?

Pip Satrini, Igenousiceman, Satriella, Anibur, Scubadaz: How's it going my U.K. friends? There has been some talk here in the U.S. about Britain's Got Talent for the past few weeks. I actually thought that Susan Boyle was going to win it all.

Fatape, Roo, Dream3: G'Day mateys! What have you all been up to?

Blue_Moon, McDave(SuperDave), js1200js1000, death cube k, Cappy Steve, Slashroom, Elpp, Guitarman77897, Hybes, Burly, Ibanezplyr, Castle49, Tostado, and everyone else:

Hope you are all doing well. I am stoked on Joe & Chickenfoot.

Well, I gotta run now. See ya.

Glizt man it's good to be back. I have kinda been distracted from a lot of things in the past few months. Too much time spent playing WoW and trying to figure out what the hell I'm gonna do this fall.

I wanna go to school to become a history teacher but I'm in the process of applying to transfer and all that BS (after three years at one school already). But I'm working this summer and enjoying myself. :)

The difference between d cube k and me is that his parents and teachers taught him about the value of money and what it is ALL about. Only thing my USA parents taught me about money was it was something you put in the bank and used to buy finite things. My dad went mad with credit cards and my mum thinks that credit cards should vanish from the face of this earth. This difference in my disfunctional family puzzled me no end!! My mom thinks everything should be paid with cash and only cash including buying homes!!! Imagine that!! Cube...your Canadian banking system and common sense in earning and spending keeps you on solid financial ground....I hope the rest of the world is as financially sound (and financially balanced) as Canada. Unfortunately, your southern neighbor's educational system leaves a lot to be desired to say the least!! That's why this country is in such a mess and Canada is once again wondering why it has such a financially clueless neighbor!! Ahhhhhhh.......Cube.....you and your fellow Canadians could easily take over the USA.....So come on!!!

Hugs to all you Canadian neighbors who put up with all kinds of shit from your southern neighbor!!

Glitz - I just plan on taking it easy, polishing off some barley-pop and cranking the ChicKenfoot waaaaay up! Wifey took the day offa work too so we may have to rock the house a little (or a lot) while the kids are away. Less than 2 hours left for being thirty-something. I think I can already feel the crisis coming on... (jk!)
