I'm pretty sure I have that on both cd and LP, I'll have to check. This is exactly why I need to keep the site up to date. I use it to keep track of what I've got and what I need.

Go Joe! I love my limited edition Marshall head! They have such an awesome sound, I knew you'd come around again!

Guys, I just posted a few more screenshots for my Talk2Joe iPhone app up on the web site (link below)

About the Marshall News- Hes playing more rhythm now . Maybe its just for Chickenfoot, outside any contractual obligations to Peavey? Interesting!...it could be a marketing scheme...cause if he goes back to his JSX, that will surely say something about Marshall..lol

Anyone going to see Joe play with Chickenfoot in Cork tonight? Any reviews of the Austrian gig available online?

Thanks!

Skip, When I clicked my show attendance it allready said who won. Usually it's announced closer to the show, but it's not Mick as manager now.
I sold my tube Marshall in 2005, great sound but only one sound. One day I will own a Mesa Boogie, untill than POD X3L and AMT California Sound.

I don't know what to think about this Marshall stuff... On one hand, the JSX50 is not available yet and that is the amp JOE used for the record... On the other hand, I saw the interview where Mike was going through JOE's CF rig and he was using the JSX clean with the Satchurator...

Hmmm, Marshalls would definitely be easier to get in Europe, duh! But you don't switch brands after just coming out with a new amp from your own amp line, or do you???... I think JOE could definitely shed some light on this issue... Marshall is already going nuts about it...

Hey Satch! Just wondering about the next solo album. It seems like almost every 2 or 2 1/2 years you release a new album. Is this pattern going to continue even with Chickenfoot, which by the way is amazing, absolutely amazing. Im seein you guys preform in August in Detriot. But yea, is the pattern going to continue wuld you say?

Aw fooey.... I didn't bother adding attendance given there wasn't any aftershow... then it gets added and drawn within a few hours of being announced. Boo I say, boo! Ah well.... not to worry

Blue Moon - late happy birthday from me mate. LMFAO about the zappa show. Haven't found a vid of that yet though.... don't do the same to Joe later!

Skippygirl - a bingle!? Never heard that one before.... and my root joke was wasted on even the aussies ;-b See above re aftershow. I missed it, as it appears did most of the UK regulars. Still, musn't be greedy. The t shirt hasn't turned up... what shall I do??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Roo - did Austin accept your proposal, are we going to have the first Satriani.com wedding? iPhone app looks VERY cool... no hurry up an work it for Blackberry too.. please? I don't want to switch to the 02 network. By the way, why do you keep asking us to check out your abs? You been working out or something? : - b ha ha

Do The Stu - "all signs point to..." - is that a magic 8 ball response? I've never had one. Here's what I had noted from recent posts then:

Not now, Think again, Too early to tell, I'd say no, Yes of course, Ask me later, By All Means Yes, Not Gonna Happen, Sure If You Want To

Anyone got any more to add to this?

Scubadaz - ah, so you believe me then (that I'm not Stig)? That's probably just saved my job with Top Gear then ha ha ha (when Perry revealed who Stig1 was he got the sack!). The race was a yawn fest, other than the result : ) You arent seriously ringing NCP are you??

PS Thanks on the strat info

Burly - pablo seemed to thin he was in with a chance of the win last race, then they changed setup mid race and it went away from him. Started 7th I think. Haven't had chance to check where he finished this time yet

Guitarvibes - wow, interesting post (re Marshall). Joe going back to his 80's/90's setup then. Seems odd given his signature line. Is Vox also linked to Peavey cos I'm just wondering how this all works out

Don1963 - no worries

Webmaster - it stood out that you were having just as much fun as the band. I'll have your job please lol. I had to go back and check the learning to fall credits. Who's responsible for the daisies comment then....

And I'm off to Best Buy. I need the new Dream Theater and the Mars Volta albums. Has anyone else here bought either of them yet?

I'll comment on the April Fools Day in June, er, Joe's switch to Marshall, when I'm back. What the...?

elpp, justjoan, mikesb--Sorry if I affended you. ;-/

LOOK AT MY PREVIOUS POST FOR EDIT!

I'm under a lot of stress right now with uncertainties about my Steve---are we goin' to have to go through the whole thing again at Stanford--installing 5 screw/posts in his scalp...CT scan.....then back into the O.R. for surgery at which time they remove the posts from his scalp......will he bleed uncontrollably again??? Will he have other complications on the operating table??? Steve is a unique patient and is not a sheep in the medical industrial complex of the USA.......Damn it!! HMOs, PPOs....all the insurance crap in the system will not make Steve whole!! He requires a primary care doctor with UNLIMITED time to see him......At least 30 to 45 minutes! He can't be given the rush, rush times that HMO doctors have under their tight, tight insurance systems/M.O.'s. EPILEPSY AND DEPRESSION ARE HELL ON EARTH! How can I state this in a more clear manner???

DEATH CUBE K--Thanks for understanding, man.......Canada, Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Good ol' Canadian common sense!!!

Alan--The luni is still here even though mauled by M & T!

I'm crying ;-( When I screw up, I'm cryin'.....even if you can't hear me or see me.

btw--I'm on Twitter now with a learning curve. Tough times practicing guitar!! I hope Ry forgives me.

GV--Hi Dutch Broeder......Tough times.......fewer posts. Email is better.

Webmaster John--Sorry about the double post. Thank you for the latest info on Joe's gigs. It would be wonderful to meet him.....even in the fog and rain.....just tough to see my way through the walls of health issues I'm facing at this time. I wish I had the strength to hold myself up like Joe did when he had pneumonia a few years ago when he was on tour. It's different facing a chronic health condition that wears one down over time (such as depression/epilepsy). Facing an acute health issue is tough; however, most people recover fully from such things as our friend, Joe Satriani did...Thank God!! (Enough about spirituality......don't know why.....it scares some ppl...sadly). Must see a light at the end of the tunnel.......sunlight is constant....never fails. How blessed ppl are for following Joe and friends!!!

scubadaz - I notice that in the US, too, with the people who sign up on the attendance list...it's a little weird, but in the end I don't have a problem with it. It doesn't say anywhere that you need to have enough time to post on a message board to be considered a fan, you know?

There's maybe five or so people that I've been recognizing at the last few Satch shows in the LA area (we talk at shows and occasionally stand together). They're die-hards just like us, and some of them go to multiple shows per tour...but I've asked them to join T2J multiple times and it doesn't happen. I guess the message board just isn't for some people. Nothing really wrong with that...

Skippygirl - "Do bands take their gear with them ... ? How would all Joe's guitars actually get around on the European tour? Cargo?"

It depends on the band, and the tour, but it's expensive for a band to ship their gear from the US to Europe or Australia. When Dream Theater tours Australia and Asia, for example, they usually use a scaled-down production (smaller drum kit, fewer lights and videos, etc.) to save money.

I do know that sometimes it takes a long time, like several weeks, for stuff to be shipped. The drums Chad used on the Tonight Show are different from the ones he used on the Road Test tour...if I had to guess, it's probably because those were already packed up and on their way to Europe.

Guitarvibes - The aftershow winners were announced three days ahead of time (according to the US clock) in the past...it doesn't look like that scheduling has changed. I think that whole system is automated through the website here.

And FYI, there is another manager (Sammy's?) doing stuff on this tour...but Mick was traveling with Joe and the band on the Road Test tour and at the Best Buy event, so I think he's also still involved with everything.

Pip Satrini - Thanks for the Chickenfoot YouTube links. I might email you about a related something in a bit...

"All signs point to yes" is a standard answer on magic eight balls (in the US, anyway)...I haven't seen it on anything Chickenfoot-related, though. I was only making a joke. Sorry to confuse your list. ;-)

And shame on you for not adding yourself just because there wasn't an aftershow contest...haha. ;-)

Clark44 - Yes, Joe has said he hopes to continue releasing solo albums. I think it's still too early to tell when the next one will be coming, though.
Guitarvibes / Ethn Hayabusa - I'm almost done with my first DT listen. I like it a lot...it's way better than Systematic Chaos. I'd rank it in the top half of their releases, I think, but it's still to early to know just where it'll fall.

I think the band comes close to becoming a parody of itself in a few spots, but they never actually cross the line.

I'm liking this a lot...

Listening to: Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings (current song: The Count Of Tuscany)
