awwww Les Paul it was a good innings...RIP...or should that be Rest in Rock!
I think he should have stuck with Polsfuss...great name...would have been great going into a guitar shop and asking for one of those LOL
Does anyone know - WEBMASTER - if you change your nickname, can someone else then use your old one?
Pip55 - What makes you think you saw a UFO then....
Was it round and white and came hurtling past you in the kitchen when you got in late? LOL
Hugs Satriella xx

Les Paul--a great pioneer electric guitarist--has left the planet!
Joe--Sorry about your loss. Thank you for giving forward --looking to the future. Also I heard Alice Cooper interview you last night on his radio show. Great conversation!
I was in the hospital for 2 days. More on this later.

Thoroughly Golden Milli - Is a hazardess a lady hazard? The laws over there must be considerably stricter than over here, to terminate someone just for touching a kid??? Is that what happened to Michael Jackson? The propaganda over here said it was heart failure. Thank goodness we don't have the death penalty any more!!

Skippygirl- The whole interview with Joe about Les will be posted soon...keep your eyes peeled
Pip- YW...its about your very first guitar...my story is my cousin showed me a Zep Lick and i went home and tore up my Dads folk guitar so for Christmas he bought me a Carlo Robelli (sam ash) Les Paul sunburst (got stolen)...but i was bad and played it when i found it hidden before christmas...never had any interest in a les paul after that....until now
On the new tracks from Joe/Vox. One track has Joe using the Time machine as a reverb.....i never knew a delay could act as a reverb so i went over to it and just double tapped the speed button fast and...behold..Reverb...and pretty sweet sounding too....idont know if the manual had this info ( i never read them) or if all delays can mimic 'verb...all i know is i have a new pedal x 2. Did you know Les Paul invented the Delay effect?
The use of tape delay as an effect is credited the legendary guitarist and inventor Les Paul, who more importantly, was the first person to adopt "sound on sound" multitrack recording. Tape echo originated from his desire to have discrete echoes in a recording; the track was How High the Moon, the year, 1950.
I had no idea Les was the inventor of so many guitar related devices and kinda disappointed cause if i only knew i would have excitingly went to his show...after knowing these facts i also feel a greater loss today than yesterday. the timing of the NY show and Les's Funeral seem to be aligned.
I just recieved notification that the new york VIP's will not only get a backstage tour but also an Onstage tour w/ an earlier meeting time!!!!....Thats really great of you guys!..Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Austin DTS- A new shirt is on the Chickenfoot Store....sweet!...i know youve been waiting..lol...funny thing...looks almost exactly like the bestbuy ad i posted a month ago

Good morning folks...
This may have already been brought up, but have those of you who plan on purchasing the new Vai DVD and/or CD noticed that there is a significant difference in the track listing between the two? Several songs have been left off the CD for some reason, and it aggravates me when artists' do that!
I like to be able to watch the concert, and then carry the audio along with me when I am driving or wearing my headphones, etc.. Makes me feel a little closer to the show when I am able to listen to the whole thing while I'm away from my TV; besides, I'm not always in the mood to WATCH the concert anyway. Sometimes the audio alone is perfect, for me at least.
My apologies for the rant... I was getting tired of griping to my computer screen!
Ian

I agree - I enjoy listening to concerts - other times I would rather watch the concert.
Sometimes though, it is a space / cost issue for the CD - no need for a double CD or just too much music to squeeze on one.

Greetings Joe and everyone!
I have been listening to Chickenfoot a lot. I love the album and I am very pleased with your guitar work and the chemistry with the other 'heads' in the band. The elements blend themselves very nicely exhibiting everything from some classic rock warmth and melodic modern 'Satriani space' feel to VanHalenish nostalgic like rock moments with all the best flavor of a favorite dish included. Great job on another page of rock history that speaks for itself.
Take a moment and listen to our band from my personal history called Exploration X <-(click). I'm on guitars and my older brother on vocals. We toured in the US and played with some well known rock artists. Thank you Joe for being one of the most inspirational guitar players of all time to me.
-ps- I love my js1000 !! :)
