Alan Mc--ffs! I watch an Irish movie with Aer Lingus in it and you get a message in before me with Aer Lingus!!! How crazy is that? What I'm sayin' is I saw the amazing movie, "Once" and was speechless at the end of the movie because I enjoyed every minute. Man, the land of Eire is beautiful and if that's not enough......On my way home from work yesterday I see a sticker on a car ahead of me says "Irelad" with a USA flag and Eire flag together.....something about an exchange program.....I guess it may have to do with Santa Clara University's Ireland/USA exchange where students (like my friend Gail's daughter) got to go over to Eire for about 3 months to study at University there and earn credits as well as hang out at the pubs and socialize with the ppl!

Michelle--I recently saw a steam engine railroad show on TV and they showed the Railroad Museum of PA and the steam locomotives in Strasburg, PA. Have you ever been there? If I go to PA, this is what I've go to see.

I'm off to Stanford with my Steve for yet another test and my own appointment then to work.

This weekend The Stig will be revealed on BBC Top Gear
or at least that's the rumour (again) I just read. In Januari it was said it is Ben Collins, and today somewhere else I read Schumacher (which doesn't make much sense)

HELLO EVERYBODY!

I have today off so I can finally try to catch up with all of you. Later today, I have to take my car to the service shop. My "Service Engine" Light popped up again yesterday. Don't you hate it when that happens?

Earlier this week, we had our Germanfest Festival at Headwaters Park here in Fort Wayne, which is about a quarter of a mile from my apartment. I went down there for the first time and had a little bit of German Beer and Coor's Light (wasn't keen on the Coor's). Now we have Ribfest starting and I'm thinking on going down there to check it out. After Ribfest, we have Greekfest, which is one of my favorites. I really enjoy the food down there. After that, we have our Three Rivers Festival, which will be awesome. I'll be doing the 5K Run and I might be in the parade afterwards. I was invited last year by one of our local radio stations here.

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been busy with running and work as usual. About last month, I bought a new pair of running shoes and I have already put in about 130-140 miles in them (as of today). I do not have many races this month, but I will have some in July. I will have three points races on July 4th, 11th, and 18th. There is a run on the 25th but it's held in the evening, so that will be in question.

Work is coming along well. The last two days we had a wireless communication group using our facility for their meetings and for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I played bartender for their dinner function. Later this summer, we are going to have weddings/receptions coming up. One of them is a big one: An Indian Wedding, which I really enjoy.

I have been reading everyone's posts whenever I have time.

Do The Stu: Austin, how's it going with you? It seems you have been quite the "On The Road" kind of person. Do you think you might come to Chicago when Chickenfoot performs? BTW, you mentioned what kind of food you prefer. I am eclectic with it comes to food. I love different kinds. I like Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and I also like some Indian cuisine. I'm not much of a fast food person. I haven't eaten at McDonalds or even Taco Bell for the past number of years and counting.

Skippygirl: Good day matey! Hope you are doing well. You know me with my running and work. How about you? Hopefully sometime, I will come down there and do a marathon run down there. By the way, are there any that is happening soon?

Burly: How's it going with you down in the South?

Ibanezplyr & Roo: I saw your pictures and they are awesome, especially when you guys were with Joe.

GoldenGirl2: I hope everything goes well for Steve today. Please tell him hi and good luck to the both of you. Prayers are with you both. Please let us know how it all went.

Michelle & Cheese101: Hey Michelle and Tracie. How are you two lovely ladies doing in life and how's the family?

Blue_Moon: How's that finger of yours doing? Is it getting any better? BTW, any runs or marathons happening in Europe?

Punkdude75: Congrats again and glad to hear that your honeymoon went well. Are you planning on seeing Chickenfoot?

Cosmic_Ape, fatape, js1200js1000, Guitarvibes, Elpp, and to Everyone: How's it going with all of you? Do you know of any runs or marathons that are happening anytime soon? Let me know how and how things are going with all of you.

As for the new members: Welcome to the site. How are you all doing?

Well, I gotta run. Keep in touch everyone and I'll try to get back with you as soon as I can. See ya!

So, just going back to the words list - it's all just a bunch of random answers to random questions. Do we still need to keep tabs on it?

Blue buffalo - thanks, I only just found "the foot says maybe" from your post

Roo / Cheese et al (no, not YOU Al) - while we're talking food combos raspberry ripple ice cream with thai sweet chilli potato chips is quite nice ; ) Worryingly, I wasn't drunk when I ate said combo

... and apparently, you shouldn't do Tuna and a coffee. Ok!?

Big Bunny - hi leanne. Just changed it to pip as it's one of the regularly used nicks for me. Most recently it was pointed out I'm pip from southpark...

Skippygirl - hi, hopefully I'll pop up somewhere on a YT vid. Tweeting failed miserably from inside my last gig once they closed the roof so who knows.... but I'll try! When should I expect the T-shirt to arrive - I'll need it by Wednesday LMAO

Blue Moon - moon river always reminds me of a particular scene in the movie Fletch

BTW, I could have had in & out in australia. Well, I was offered a root anyway....

Slanshroom - Propellerheads, nice call!

Cheese - how did the private lap dance go?

Do The Stu - it was the host of the show and his main team (at In & Out) when they ran the show from LA for a week. I missed it last time, so I'll have to make up for it next US trip.. and to think, I only came over for the free burger ; )

Oh, I posted that CF stuff that I found on my youtoob account

Michelle - redeemed myself? Naturally I have NO IDEA what you mean.... and the cheque is in the post to keep it that way x x x

scubadaz - no worries, thanks for the request

Burly - interesting post about Nuge & EVH, thanks. No worries re the vids

Guitarvibes - the Stig is Ben Collins (white Stig that is) apart form the time they had a Renault F1 car go round the test track, as it was driven by Heikki Kovalinen. Black Stig was Perry McCarthy.

It's not going to be a very big reveal for Top Gear unless they're making a gag out of it. Thanks for the info though

Have a great weekend all

Hey Joe,

I'm not quite sure how this happened but I wanted to thank you Joe, thank God, Daddy & Gram/GG up in Heaven for somehow getting me in to see the "Philly" show at the TLA. Not only was this a kick ass show but truly a heartfelt, elightening, spiritual, soulful expierence~I actually cried because I got in. (My friends were teasing me telling me they're not going down to South Street w/ me because I'll never get in, it's sold out, there's horrible storms n I shouldn't go by myself...oh yeah...last but not least, I'm a crazy stupid Joe freak~especially because I wrote you a letter) This...no shit, taught me to NEVER give up on my dreams, stay determined & reach for the stars because dreams DO come true, I'm PROOF!

Joe...."I BELIEVE" Always, Jean-Marie

burly - Your EVH/Ted Nugent story is similar to one Joe has told about him and Steve wanting to play through Brian May's rig when they did that show together in the early 90s. It's on the site here somewhere, but basically Joe and Steve were a bit shocked that they still sounded like...Joe and Steve.

cosmic_ape - I'll have to try the cheeseburger pizza next time I'm at CPK. Have you ever been to BJ's? They have a good cheeseburger pizza, too...and it tastes even more like a cheeseburger there because they don't have much of a tomato sauce.
Glitz Man - I looked into traveling to Chicago for a Chickenfoot show, but wasn't able to work out all the details with my family before tickets went on sale. So it looks like I'll just be going to a California show this time around.

Are you going to a show on this tour?

Pip Satrini - "So, just going back to the words list - it's all just a bunch of random answers to random questions. Do we still need to keep tabs on it?"

All Signs Point To Ye...I mean, yeah, I think it'd be nice to come up with a definitive list of the triangles, and then compare it to what's in the magic eight ball that comes with the ticket packages. Does one have more than the other, or are they all the same?

RubyG - Joe won't respond to you if you continue to post the same thing again and again. He's probably seen your suggestion by now, but he's said in the past that he can't talk about pedals that are in development. So you'll just have to wait and see.

Have not posted here in years but had to come on and say that I love the new Chickenfoot CD. Too cool going to Best Buy and seeing all the posters and crap they had set up. I almost stole one of the cardboard standups, but realized, I am a 40 year old man, what the hell am I thinking? Great CD. Hope the band comes out with a live album. I would love to hear Sammy sing Big Bad Moon.

Austin, oh yeah this pizza doesn't really have tomato sauce... You get tossed shredded lettuce and fresh sliced tomatoes on top of the pizza and when you eat the whole thing it tastes like a cheese burger... I gotta say I don't care for stupid salad looking toppings on top of my pizza, but CPK makes it work...

I saw my dermatologist today......why do we have so many speciality doctors? He said the bump on my finger is a cyst and he stuck it with a needle in 3 places and gave me a ket.. something or other shot to bring down the swelling. He was lookin at a lesion behind my left ear and used the "blow torch" on it......liquid nitrogen to freeze the stupid thing and then he gave me a shot of that k stuff. I dunno ppls....maybe next time I'll go to my primary care doctor and have her look at my skin. It has to be less stressful and less expensive in the long run.

Skippygirl, Tracie, Michelle, Satriella, Anibur, and Kayla--Have you ever faced a truckload of judgmental bullshit from people (mainly male) who assume that your body (especially your reproductive parts) belongs to them? Arrogant bastids!!! This happened to me when I was going through puberty and when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I wanted to kill these arrogant Neanderthals! I've never felt such extreme rage expect in the bizzarre world of work.......almost sent me over the edge!

Alan McKenna--I believe in dynamics too. We can speak and sing softly, moderately or loudly as appropriate to the music...just like Joe Satriani and his like-minded musical brothers and sisters.

Good to know, man. Way to tell it like it is. ;-)

Love ya.
