Scuba - soz, what I really meant was I hope you get to the root of the problem with the headaches, and that the gig helped you forget it for a while. I saw the camera crew arrive but I didn't really take much notice until they shoved it in our faces inside

Burly - I'd definitely call that proper rock'n'roll... and tumble, and throw and cut ha ha. Ah, Danica... nice to look at, and fiercely competitive.... not always in a good way though (casting couch springs to mind)

Glitzman - hey there. All good here. Saw a killer Chickenfoot show, and wish there were a few more over here. Haven't seen much of the tennis. Johm McEnroe was at chickenfoot, he's such a rocker

Roo - dude, I'm on your screenshots. I like the app even more now LOL. Just need the phone, so I won't be getting the app just yet. But it does look bl**dy handy. Nice job!

Blue Moon - ha ha LMAO at your gig diagram! Nice pics, I thought you were at the back... mega zoom!!

Do The Stu - there was me, scuba, NJ, satriella, anibur, hugsamuchilus, jon & sylv (I don't know their screen names) that I know of. As soon as I got to the barrier it remined me of San Fran and every once in a while I glanced right but none of you lot were there. It made me think of that night a lot. We all have to do it again... right?

Guitarvibes - you enjoyed the show! Good to hear!!!

Do the Stu - Further to what the Dazzler said, ITN stands for Independent Television News. It dates back from when there was the state sponsored BBC and ITV (Independent TeleVision). ITV consists of a number of regional television companies which banded together to form a conglomerate of sorts which has a national network with regional variations. So, the ITN news(world and national news) would be broadcast nationally and at certain times of day this would be followed by regional broadcasts of the local news.

Austin....that vid looking for reactions to MJ's death shows some of what I DONT like about the news. What did they expect ANYONE to say in reaction? To catch people unaware as they did with Joe and then not even identify him...I'm with you...what was the point? It is a tragedy that he died, most especially for his children. That's always the first place my brain goes when anyone dies, is the family that's left behind and how they must feel. Death is sad and having someone you love and care about leaves a hole that is never filled. Why do they think it's newsworthy to ask people what they think about someone dying....DER!! Michael was famous, yes....but he was just a human being like everyone else. We're all born to eventually die. His family should be left in privacy to grieve. (and this next statement is in no way directed at you, just the media in general, lol) Give me news that matters....don't use things like this to squeeze out every possible drop of media-attention. Do things that honor people and then move on. But I betcha they'll make a media circus outta this for some time to come. Sigh.

Scuba, thanks....generally, my cheeze-whiz is pretty sharp when it comes to all things guitar and gear-related...since he lives, eats and breathes guitar, LOL!! Didya check the twit-pic out yet?

Guitarvibes....glad to see you've had a good experience after all :) Welcome to the power of the FOOT, lol!!

Pip...THEN GET ON IT DOOD!!! Time's a wastin' and make sure u allow fer some sleep time, at least before the gig, LOL!! Hotels are gonna fill up, tickets are gonna sell out!! Just don't bring yer cootie-cold germies wiff ya or we'll spray u down with Lysol :D

Oh and btw...you ARE mental. Just thought I'd agree with everyone, lol!! But in a good way...yer brain has been "Chickafied" and there's no turnin back now!!

Burly....********chiggers********GAH!!! HATE EM!!!

OH....as to the filming of the shows...they did that in San Fran too, as I think they have been in most locations. I talked to Jon Luini (webmaster) briefly about it, he said they were going to be using the film in some way to be able to share the Chickenfoot experience with people around the world who can't get to a live show...but then he got all teckanickle on meh telling me how it was gonna be shared, and it was really noisy there, so my wee brain dint retain exactly what he said =| But I do know they have plans, LOL!!

Mebbe webby Jon can enlighten us...I make a damn poor reporter, lol!! Shuda taken detailed notes....

Once again thanx to all who posted on the last couple of shows! It's great to hear that EVERYONE comes away from these shows the way I did. Hooked on the FOOT. When I first heard the couple of songs that were released on-line before the cd came out, I was a little underwhelmed lets say. Looking back I think it had more to do with the poor quality than anything else. But after the first show in Boston I knew these guys were gonna tear it up! Chad tore it up a little too much in London lol. Anyway like I said before This is the best Rock & Roll I've heard in a looooooooong time. Long live the FOOT! May the FOOT stomp down in your town!

scubadaz - Joe has almost made that effect his signature...ive never heard anyone else use it. Im sure that company made many$ over the years not to make a deal about it? My prediction for the next pedal has to be a chorus/compressor called flying in a blue dream ..lol...i cant think of any other pedal he could make...what he really need is a custom pedal board that can condense all these freekin huge pedals..my tuner has been squeezed out of my portable pedalboard by the time machine...and i still think JSX sounds better than Marshalls from what im hearing and it seems Joe is working harder for sustain and sweet feedback...i have a jsx and previously owned marshalls and use them regularly in rehearsal studios..occassionally i bring the jsx head and people notice..the awards and popularity of this amp all across the genre board say alot....I cant ever question Joes opinion but await to hear his explanation besides the one that says hes crazy..lol

Hey Im 100!

Marshall tone

so, who sucks here?

Joe has explained himself that he wanted to built a versatile amp wich permits to him to work on stage as if he got several of his heads. He has never said that he would renonce to all his other material.

Just tired to read silly thing.

Yeap.. silly.. go on.. be silly.

I don't mean to be offensive with this, but I have a Michael Jackson question...

Does it bug anyone that suddenly everyone is buying his music? Record stores are sold out, online outlets are backordered, and most of the top downloads at iTunes in any category are MJ-related (as I'm typing this it's 7 of the top 10 songs, 9 of the top 10 albums, and all top 10 videos).

He was hugely popular, but he had to DIE before people thought his music was worth purchasing? If so many people liked him so much then why didn't they buy his music when he was alive, so he could have known just how popular he still was? And he would have been the one paid for his work, instead of (now) his estate or his creditors.

I love rock and roll and most of its related genres (instrumental, prog, metal, "jam bands", fusion, etc.), but I don't like much pop/rap/R&B. Still, my music collection includes Michael Jackson's Thriller (and other things, like Run DMC's Raising Hell). If I can buy albums like this, why can't the actual fans?

burly - It's not just overdubs or multiple tracks that bug me, it's the way they're done on this particular album. Like on the ending chorus of My Kinda Girl...the lead lines that Joe plays really stick out to me because most of the rest of the song is just the rhythm guitar. And in a band where two people know how to play guitar, it comes across as unnecessarily cutting corners.

For the record, I love overdubs and multiple tracks done right (the EOC album, You Saved My Life from SBM, etc.)...

Mikey has said that band wants to write and record all of their next album sitting in a room together. I hope they do, and I hope Sammy has a guitar with him and doesn't mind recording some of the rhythm tracks.

There are things I love about the album, though...I love the touch of harmonica on My Kinda Girl (I wish Joe would've found a way to do something with that live), the banjo on Sexy Little Thing, and the keyboards scattered throughout.

scubadaz - Your pre-Chickenfoot meal was KFC? My brother and I did the same thing in San Francisco...haha.

And the "R"s are all backward on the other Chickenfoot shirt, the one without the faces. The "K"s are normal, aside from the name of the band, though. Hmmm...

Pip Satrini - Yeah, it'd be awesome to get another big group together at a gig. Hopefully next year's tour, whether it's Chickenfoot or solo Satch, will have all the dates announced at once so it'll be a bit easier for us to plan...
cheese101 - I can't stand TV journalism, and that video is a prime example of why. Argh... I think society as a whole is to blame for a lot of journalism's problems, though. People just eat this stuff up.
Don1963 - Yeah, isn't this band great live? I really do think this band has legs (unavoidable pun...sorry), and I can't wait to see what they can come up with two or three albums from now.
punkdude75 - I have my tickets to Progressive Nation 2009...the last night of the US tour, in LA. I'm psyched! Are you seeing them in Chicago?
rjmuzza - Yeah I posted that late last night...I'm sure they knew who he was (it looks like he's signing autographs), but it's lame that they didn't identify him.
Listening to: Dredg - The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion (current song: Quotes)

I guess I just can't relate.

Chickenfoot's up on www.Grooveshark.com :-)

bee you tea full dai owt two dai!

Bought the new DT cd just a bit ago. Listened to cd #2 on the way home. I'm really hoping the rest of the cd is better, cause that bored the hell outta me. I kept skipping to the next song hoping one would really grab me. Nothing. My son, who usually loves DT didn't like it either. I left it in my husbands car with the cd sleeve and brought the other two cd's in the house. I'm not saying it's a total loss yet. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for DT these days? Great graphics in the inside booklet though.

I can't even be upset about it because I have Chickenfoot playing on my puter. How can ya be in a bad mood with Oh Yeah & GET IT UP! playing??? IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! lol!

Get your buzz on, right here!

Austin, I absolutely agree. To little, to late. I've bought MJ cd's in the past for gifts, but never for myself. I always felt sorry for the guy the way he was like a caged animal - just like Princess Diana. Money hungry stalking paparazzi sucked the souls right out of them (Brittany and many others too). The way the dude grew up, he never had a chance at being a "normal" guy. As a kid he had no "friends" like kids should. It was all work, and all family. He never learned the things he needed by interacting and experiencing LIFE. Sure, he entertained and made millions, but what's life if you can't make a move without being dissected by the "press" and millions of people. If you can't walk out yer front door without getting mauled by photographers or fans, yer world gets very small. His musical aspect was pure genius, but his mentality was stunted by his fathers push to make him a money machine. I'm not buying any MJ merch now although I do believe the children are entitled to all his earnings through his music. I think everything else he owns will go to his estate - which will go to the bill collectors. Maybe buying his music now isn't a bad thing? It might be a benefit for the kids in the long run? Lots of good memories with the Jackson 5 and MJ. Just sad the way it all ended up over the past 10 years or so.

Hum.. Jackson was a musician.. a good singer, & an awesome dancer.

With the help of Mr Quincy Jones, Thriller has been the 80's BOMB.

Beat it with Lukather on rythmical guitar & evh on lead.

Billie Jean

& of course, Thriller realized by John Landis.

We had never seen video clips like that before MJ.

Even if i think Prince is the funky Man, MJ has brought a lot to music.
