.....and then there was a loud, sucking sound....
Anyways....
I can't believe what shameless jackass Joe Jackson is...
When he was being interviewed before the BET Awards the reporter was asking him how MJ's mom and siblings were holding out. And his answer to that was to promote (live on TV) some blue ray enterprise he was staring with his buisness partner. What a joke. "You beat the shit out of your kids when they were growing up"..."I hope you don't see a dime of your son's fortune"..... Worthless turd !!

Skippygirl:2 busy being a dad i,m afraid so no CF concert for me :( I like the poet & musician concept the idea of working with an artist thats not a musician appeals to me, i,d say yer bro in law must be very knowledgable in flamenco to pull all that off with dancer.I flirted once with gypsy painting & music in the same way but she eventually left for Madrid because Barcelona is a difficult if not impossible place for artists to survive, especially musicians, thats why many move west where there is a healthy and vibrant scene
Cappy:Cheers i,ll look into it

Thanks for the well wishes all, swine flu is a bugger, but we seem to be coping well... It seemed to hit me the hardest! Lol.
Also, (shameless plug) I'm exclusively reading and writing on T2J with my iPhone app. It's so convenient! Much easier than via web.

Wonderfully eccentric is Ian Anderson but also an astute businessman. I think he was one of the pioneers of salmon farming in the bonnie land. His music was always a bit cult-ish and he is self deprecating and has some very tongue in cheek lyrics. For me he was a great entertainer and always seemed to have fun on stage, I think it's a shame he never really got the recognition his music (and musicianship) deserves.

New York City, June 1969, Christopher Street near the Stonewall Inn. Peaceful demonstration--makes me proud! Turbulent 1960s had moments of wisdom and truth.

Scuba:Thx, Just an experiment, nothing ventured nothing gained.Catalunya is extremely young because of Franco,s dictatorship she only really lives free 50 years.I suspect in the next 5-10 years the doors will open for the bounty of extraordinary talent she holds but she MUST loosen her grip on her purse to bring this to fruition...thats a mission in itself oooph
Rebel songs get most coverage here and sorry t say played by musicians that sound like they played for max 2 years... its fuckin awful! if the government of Catalunya supported its finer artists that have published work to proceed & allowed more bars to work acoustic sessions for them it would flourish into something incredible so I,m proud to be a part of this underground movement that,s constantly pushing t make that day happen so future generations have somewhere to go learn jam & please god get paid for their hard work!
I can only try t make it work with these few brave souls that own these establishments who are willing to risk a lot by breaking conservative ideals.Time will tell
Chad.....y see i miss this kind o malarky....but y got t do few more Keith Moons t take over imo
