Hey Joe and everybody,
thanks for keeping up the tradition of the satriani.com aftershow pass giveaway.
Last time i accidentally posted that you had meet and greet packages in America, but I think i read that wrong on the Chickenfoot site, but anyway, thanks for making it happen on the European leg of the tour, I entered and i'm hoping so much that i'll win.
If not, see ya on stage friday!!

Skippy, you're turning into a real collector, careful there! It can get expensive! I just won another rare chickenfoot album! Woohoo still holding at 100% success. Also, happy 500th!
The Internet is the best thing that has ever happened for collectors.
Unfortunately, I stumbled on a batch of stuff I didn't have (some rare 80's Joe) but the postings were pulled before I got some contact details! Maybe a scam I guess.

Hi guitarvibes, how've you been? You going Friday? You could win an aftershow...
Where is the Marshall factory? Do bands take their gear with them or do they just take their main instruments and pedals and hire gear wherever they go? How would all Joe's guitars actually get around on the European tour? Cargo?
roo - do you have the Markus James LP that Satch played on? Can't see it listed on your site but I know you have heaps you haven't posted yet.

I thought the JSX50 was allready presented at latest NAMM? (I think there's a huge market for the JSX50 combo). Well Joe uses the Marshalls on the Chickenfoot tour, it remains to be seen what he will use on a solo tour in the distant future.
Skippy: they bring their own backline gear including amps, in a truck or a trailer behind the tourbus, depending on the amount.

Dave Mustaine back to Marshall, Joe back to Marshall. They must be having a great time at Marshall. Winner takes all.
"The Peavey JSX 50 amplifier will be available from authorized Peavey retailers in Q2 2009."

gvibes - oh, so who got the aftershow? How do you know did YOU get it?
BTW the Peavey site has a press release from 8 June saying CF was using their amps.

I'm pretty sure I have that on both cd and LP, I'll have to check. This is exactly why I need to keep the site up to date. I use it to keep track of what I've got and what I need.
Go Joe! I love my limited edition Marshall head! They have such an awesome sound, I knew you'd come around again!
Guys, I just posted a few more screenshots for my Talk2Joe iPhone app up on the web site (link below)

About the Marshall News- Hes playing more rhythm now . Maybe its just for Chickenfoot, outside any contractual obligations to Peavey? Interesting!...it could be a marketing scheme...cause if he goes back to his JSX, that will surely say something about Marshall..lol

Thanks scubadaz, What's the deal on aftershow passes for Cork? I've already asked Joe to give a short talk on the music biz to local teenagers. Not sure if he saw that post.. oh well! Should be a real kick-ass gig! Can't wait!

Skip, When I clicked my show attendance it allready said who won. Usually it's announced closer to the show, but it's not Mick as manager now. I sold my tube Marshall in 2005, great sound but only one sound. One day I will own a Mesa Boogie, untill than POD X3L and AMT California Sound.

I don't know what to think about this Marshall stuff... On one hand, the JSX50 is not available yet and that is the amp JOE used for the record... On the other hand, I saw the interview where Mike was going through JOE's CF rig and he was using the JSX clean with the Satchurator...
Hmmm, Marshalls would definitely be easier to get in Europe, duh! But you don't switch brands after just coming out with a new amp from your own amp line, or do you???... I think JOE could definitely shed some light on this issue... Marshall is already going nuts about it...
