roo - that's awful mate, guess you'll just have to sit on the computer for a week :0). Lots of DVD's perhaps?

Satriella - a challenge for you that I got over the weekend, I did it in 17 mins.

There are 5 houses in five different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. These five owners drink a certain drink, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet no owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink. The question is --- who owns the fish?

Hints:

- the Brit lives in the red house
- the Swede keeps dogs as pets
- the Dane drinks tea
- the green house is on the left of the white house
- the green house owner drinks coffee
- the person who smokes Pall Mal rears birds
- the owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
- the man living in the house right in the centre drinks milk
- the Norwegian lives in the first house
- the man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats
- the man who keeps horses lives next to the one who smokes Dunhill
- the owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer
- the German smokes Prince
- the Norwegian lives next to the blue house
- the man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water

*** Einstein wrote this quiz last century. He said that 98% of the World could not figure it out. ***

Happy Monday all...

Hey Michelle, it's unfortunate you didn't like the CD on first listen, but if you're in the mood for the Foot then u definitely won't find that with DT. I suggest u try it again later on down the road.

I spent all saturday floating on cool springs water with my face to the sun. The drive to get there was waay too long (7 hours!) but it was just what I needed right now. You know how when u're floating and the water covers your ears all external sounds are nearly blocked, and you're only hearing the water and your thoughts? So quiet, so peaceful. We all need to experience moments like this.

I'll upload some pics soon. Later!

No, it's not a publicity stunt, we are oink-sneezers.

Sorry to say this, but I have been predicting the swine flu is inevitable anyway.

So we used to have a "seasonal" flu... And now there's 2 different seasonal flus. It's not going to be iradicated, and it will fade in significance over time. Our bodies are very unprepared for it though, so be warned - it hits hard! But most the population will catch it over time.

There 2 ends of the spectrum here: 1) it doesn't manage to mutate and it eventually dies out. 2) it mutates and combines with a hospital superbug and ends up mutating us all into flesh eating monsters leaving only Will Smith and his dog to go on to find a cure.

Or it'll just be one of 2 seasonal flus.

Kay cera (spelling?)

Hey guys URGENT!!!!!!

Anyone who has wanted a js10th had better jump on eBay. #303 is up for only a day now, been posted on a short auction and it at a very low usd$1,680!!!?!??!!!!

Could be a rare opportunity to pick up a guitar that usually sells closer to $10,000!!

I have no connection to this, just saw it and thought a satcher might be interested. It's located in Chattanooga, TN.

Austin has the wisdom of an older man.....I said older NOT OLD!

Yes, there are those of us out here who have no business bein' on T2J because of various issues.....anger issues....rage issues.......in seeking peace of mind, it can be most difficult to let go of the anger we (humans) think is justified. I wake up angry every damn day. Not properly socialized or socialised(?) to be out in the world.

Musicians and musical ppls don't deserve to have this tiny dot called Milli-cent (not worth a grain of sand) writing shite on their forum. That may be one reason why more ppl don't join in.

axeshredderjc - I wonder what Queensrÿche will be playing? I was such a huge fan of theirs way back when, now I can only listen to the old albums. Mindcrime 2 did absolutely nothing for me and Take Cover fell flat on me too as well as American Soldier. It saddens me as I still completely LOVE the first 7 albums, Q2K is the cut-off for me, I just can't take it. I saw them play Mindcrime in it's entirety on the Empire tour, just incredible. Also, I saw them open for Metallica on the Mindcrime tour in 89-ish. Fond memories.

roo - I hope you and your family recover fairly quickly...I know it sucks when I get sick; I can't imagine how it is for a whole family all at once.

axeshredderjc - I'm a bit worried about Queensryche being on the bill, to be honest, but all the local shows are like that so I didn't have a choice. I'm not really a fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing them. I just don't want to be stuck with a shorter Chickenfoot set.

These shows are starting about an hour earlier than elsewhere on the tour, which would be enough time if Queensryche only played for 45 minutes. I expect them to play for 60 at least, though, which means these venues either have a later curfew or less Chickenfoot.

On MJ. - I will say that I was never really into the genre. I do however view his career as one that has impacted music in an overall positive way. I never owned Thriller but it would be considered a masterpiece in my book. When the Thriller video would air on MTV (which was nearly every hour it seemed) I had to watch. He was a rare talent, but I pity him for the way things turned out for him. I do not know first hand the personal struggles he endured but like many it wreaked havoc on his life and tarnished a career that was legendary.

Zenfish- Prince was another rare talent, again I was never into the genre. Prince was one of the few performers cast in a bad light by Stevie Ray Vaughan in one of his biographies. SRV loved everyone it seemed but had a clear cut dislike for Prince. I suspect it was the vibe that he got from him because the two only met once in a hotel lobby and Stevie voiced his displeasure flat out. I found that interesting.

There were 2 other performers that SRV did not really hit it off with. Bryan Adams and George Thorogood. It seems that the two were impolite and uncooperative with Stevie while sharing the same bill.

On Farrah Fawcett- I had a huge crush on her as did many other young boys my age. One of my wife's early memories of me was a picture that will stick in her mind forever. Myself as a ten year old sweaty , buzz hair cut kid wearing a farrah Fawcett t shirt. I think that must have been what did it for her :-0

Happy Monday and good night Aussies.

Skippy how is the GRCGS guitar thing coming along. And can we expect a video performance soon? T2J awaits patiently.

ethn hayabusa - you are correct, sir, and what colour house did he live in? How long did it take you?

burly - ahem.....well......GRCGS needs a hefty makeover :0) and the geetar creeps along slowly. I had a rare couple of hours yesterday so I reviewed a Ten Words video again (from a lovely kind soul) and managed to pick up a couple more notes, and then got out an old CD-ROM of online guitar tutelage that someone just gave me and it was pretty good to understand a bit more about the fretboard. Vids will be a l-o-n-g way off I'm afraid - how's about YOUR vids??????

Slan - Oooo sting!

This MJ stuff reminds me of when my boy was just a wee scrap about two or three years old. Don't stop til you get enough was on the radio and when the chorus came on he started singing along. Keep on, to the bus stop, don't stand til you're getting off.

Brings a smile to my cynical hardened old face to this day.

Long time i dream to do a tribute to Haendel.

Long time i craddle since any idea.

Tried to do a synthetizer cover of sarabande, but shit, that was just shit in front of the original played by orchestra.

But finally, the slicer gives me the idea of Haendel composing a simple thing into a Blade Runner world.

Chickenfoot gig.

Wow…what can I say…I will start at the beginning…me and Dave got separated from our friends because there were two queues, one for upstairs seating and one for downstairs standing, which was a little annoying, but the familiar voice of NJBeast rang out within seconds, had a chat with him then went to our queue. I thought we would be quite far back as it was quite a long queue. At about 6.50 a car pulled up, the queue went to one side and who should get out but Sammy about 10 feet away. I ws surprised when we got into the venue that we were only about 4 rows back, left hand side of course for Joe! I was quite worried that pip had had an accident as I hadn’t heard from him, but was relieved to see him…AT THE FRONT! (Jealous, jealous) It was a surreal thing for Dave to see the group Skin, who were asked to reform to play this gig, up there as the support act, he had met them before about 10 years ago when he worked in a record store and they were doing a signing and while looking through the cd’s he had quite a chat with them. They did an acoustic set, 3 men, 3 guitars and great voices. chickenfoot came on to a roar from the crowd and just played so amazingly, you can tell that these are all seasoned musicians, they were loving every minute. As has been said, Sammy was trying various beers, he has his own brand of Tequila, I think that was why he mentioned getting that over here. Sammy’s voice was incredible, the way he screams along in the same note to Joes guitar (a new one with the chickenfoot logo on, of course) is amazing. Joes playing was just out of this world as always, it must be nice for him to just sit back and play rather than have to be the frontman. It was nice to see that Michael played his infamous Jack Daniels Bass, but he too was all over the stage joining in with joe and Sammy and having a great time. Chad played well too, they make such a good team, he was throwing drum sticks out into the audience like there was no tomorrow!

Our friends who were upstairs were pretty sure they saw Rubina and ZZ (they have met them a number of times) although they were a bit of a way away in the VIP section.

Of course the highlight for me was when I threw my banner, which is the one I had with me for every show last year, onto the stage, it said “Satriella loves wot u do!” ,I felt like a naughty little schoolgirl to do it, it landed in between Joe and Sammy…Joe looked down as he was playing and I thought that was it….but then Sammy picked it up, read it and said “Thank you Satriella” then he proceeded to try and wear it, putting it round his head while he sang…I wonder if Joe said to him afterwards…”oh she is a fan of mine!” LOL…At least Joe knew I was there supporting him, that was the main idea.

Most of the time I couldn’t see a thing, too many tall people in front of me, but now and again I got a glimpse of Joe through the heads, I just lifted my camera up every now and again and clicked and hoped for the best. I didn’t see it but as has been reported Chad, after clambering over the drum kit and knocking it over, picked up a small drum and launched it, and with a look of horror on his face, realized that it was heading straight for Sammy…Oh yeah Sammy was handing out his drinks now and again, a girl got some and then our dear old pip got a half drunk beer too!
