Just logged into the youtoob thing and caught Sunday Bloody Sunday, he's going on about Ang San Su Kyi now.

Nice how they've made the Rose Bowl look like the Milky Way with the mobile phones.

I have a lot of catching up to do, but I'm tired so most of it will have to wait.

A few quick things about the show:

Muse is no longer the opening band...the Black Eyed Peas played first. I'm not a fan, but they were OK.

The highlight of their set was them bringing out SLASH to play Sweet Child O' Mine. I have have a crappy cell phone clip here (I hope the link works...if not, let me know). The video is in a funky format, but it plays in Quicktime just fine. I don't want to convert it to something else because the quality is already so poor.

I took a lot of pictures and some video, but they're all with my cell phone. I would have posted more throughout the night, but reception was poor inside the stadium. After I get some sleep I'll put everything up...

One of the coolest parts of U2's set, for me, was the start of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Bono started the song as normal, but stopped after a few words and let the crowd sing the rest of the first verse and the first chorus.

I don't know if this is a new arrangement for the tour or if the crowd was just ON...but Bono seemed surprised, based on how abruptly he stopped, and I have to say if the show wasn't being filmed I think he would've let us sing all of it. So definitely check that song out on YouTube later...it was a good one.

That's all for now...I'll have plenty more to say after I get some sleep, though. :-)

Death: I didn't install them, a known Luthier did that. He has done several stuff to my guitars and they always seem fine, so I trust he did a proper job.

One other thing I'm not sure it's normal with my guitars is the amount of noise they produce. With the distortion switched on, if I touch the volume knob, I hear noise, if I switch the pickup selector, I hear noise... Basically, when I'm not playing even if just for a few seconds I have to switch off the volume. I've seen other guitar players do that and always thought it was normal, but that combined with the uncontrollable feed-back made me think the two are related.

Does any of you guys go through the same? Is this because I play a Strat? You guys that play with Ibanez and other recent guitars suffer the same?

Death Cube K: you're referring to the little wire that comes from the pickguard electronics and is connected to the back of the tremolo? (don't know the exact name of the part - it's the tremolo final metal part where the screws go and you can adjust the springs tension) I remember seeing that at the beginning but truth is don't recall seeing that wire recently...

If that's the case, you're telling me I can fix it that easily? Cooooool... :) I'll check tonight.

Im From Israel and thats where the problam is... I know that it's a small country and not alot of musical giants come hear especially because of that very unreasenable reason. Lately Dream theater were hear and the great Steve Vai and Im absoloutly sure they were amazed from our people and what great audience we are (by the way, they promised to come again). Well, to my point... PLEASE PLEASE come here!!! You have no idea how many great fans you got here in small Isreal! We really want to you to come here and show us you most beloved ROCK N' ROLL MAGIC!!! Maybe in the next G3 tour in europe you can come over for a show and i asure you, you will be surprised!

I got written up at work for swearing (cause my dept head is a douche), so of course they had to make a t-shirt to represent people like me. lmao! DON'T CURSE I can't wear the shirt to work, but I did print it out and I'm going to hang it up! FTFF!

I have a migraine today. I had some ice cream to try to freeze my brain. It helped a little. Now maybe some hot tea. Maybe if I can confuse my brain it'll forget to hurt? Laying down is gonna make it worse, so I'm just gonna sit here and squint at Oprah for now.

Metallica joins FBI in hunt for missing student

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well. I had two of my running (Points) races on the last two Sundays. Here are the results:

Run for Riley (5 Miler): 7th out of 258 overall & 1st in the Age Division; Time was 30 Minutes and 56 seconds.

River City Rat Race (10K): 11th out of 644 overall & 2nd in the Age Division; Time was 38 minutes and 17 seconds.

I have one more points race and the season will be all over with. I've already signed up for another local run on (Sunday) November the 8th. November the 14th, which is Veteran's Day, is the marathon run. I need to fill and mail that one out soon. I guess I'll probably do it after all.

I just got off work at the guitar store so I can finally catch up with all of you.

Joe: Hope you have some blue up here soon. Happy Belated Birthday to ZZ (thanks to Michelle).

After reading all the posts, especially Forrest J's post, I had to laugh when you all mentioned, "Run Forrest Run." Believe it or not, I get called that nickname by a lot of my closest friends and coworkers because I run a lot.

Daughtry will be performing here tonight at the Memorial Coliseum. Theory of a Deadman and Cavo are the opening acts. I'm not going to see them, but my Mom is. She got a free ticket from her sister. I'm sure they'll have a great time.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be here on November 12th so I'm thinking about seeing them. I especially like their popular hits: Wizards in WInter, Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24, Christmas Canon Rock, etc.
