Oh cool! The T2J (Satchurated Feedback) CD looks great! I know death cube and Alexandre still post here but do the other contributors still post to the forum?
I know Phrydom posts over on the other forum.
Well done everyone, was there a CD after that one/

I'm curious about how well your guitars hold up to your playing. I've heard about guitarists playing instruments to death... Do you have a stock pile of spent instruments that you salvage parts from or do you have maintenance work "tune-ups" on your guitars often? Is your playing style even that demanding on your instruments - I've read of EVH completely wrecking the frets on his older guitars in one touring!
I think Becjr has a very interesting point here... Can anyone else add any input into this one? Joe or Mike perhaps?
NJBeast - I remember the G3 with Robert Fripp and I have to say that for me it was a refreshing change and I actually enjoyed what he did. Not to say that it was everybody's cup of tea...
SkippyGirl - I was on both of the T2J CD's and I do post from time... I mainly just check in daily and see what the topic on conversations are...
Cheers,
Aarren

Skippygirl yep there were 2 cd's SF was the first .. and Echo was the second.. they have about 3/4's of a cd's worth of cool cover songs for a third and final one since Joe gave permission to use his music , the covers had to be a different style from the original .. if they ever get enough .. part of the rules for T2J cd was you had to have at least one post over here.

Dream Theater just announced Australia / New Zealand tour dates today, with "special guests TBA". I'd love for them to bring Chickenfoot along as an opener...I think Chickenfoot and DT is a better match than Chickenfoot and Queensryche (which we're getting in the US for a few shows).
Fingers crossed for the Aussies and Kiwis...but either way, enjoy DT!

I'm headed to Santa Cruz tomorrow, for a few days. Hopefully there's enough of a breeze there so it isn't as HOT as it has been down here lately. I'll be back Thursday, or maybe Friday...
And I haven't answered the poll yet (I won't until after the deadline because I can't make it to Ohio for the show), but I'd be in the fan/player/gearhead category. What about everyone else?
I barely qualify for the gear...I own one strap. I think Joe's Souls Of Distortion guitar strap goes nicely with my sapphire metallic Stu Hamm Urge II. I need to get a "real" picture of both of mine together...
webmaster - If it's not too personal of a question...are those Vox videos shot at Joe's house? If so, there's almost enough stuff (with the older webcasts/podcasts/studio tours) to edit together a Satch version of MTV Cribs...haha.
