scuby - what do we need to order in order to boost the orders for you? Furniture? And we should all ask for scuby to do the delivery personally. My amazing plan........

Seriously, hope it picks up again soon, we's comin' out of the almost-recession here so hope it's like that in the UK too.

BigB, I'm thinking they meant it to be like these loons, the parrotheads. Again...um...no. LOL! When dudes start showing up with coconut bras on, it's a whole different party. That's just a bad scene IMO! lol!

I love the comment under the vid - and no, I didn't write it - but I feel their pain. lmao!!!

Al, you'd be shipped here just in time for the next semester to start at E's school. She has a new apartment with new roomies. You could be the token burnt Irish guy :-) The wimmins will adore you, and the guys will all wanna be like you...or kill you...but either way - good times!

and p.s. Al - tanning beds = tan arses, and there's lots of 'em.

agghhh, now E's listening to Damien. lol! Thought that voice sounded familiar.

When you have actually seen Joe live 24 times, is that over a span of 15-20 years or so, then??

Good Afternoon One And All.

Man, Sorry I have not been about for so long, I have moved house twice in the space of 6 months and I have not been able to get my home net up and running…. Plus time to get on line at work has been hard…. Should have all my home internet sorted by the end of the month and be back on here as often as before.

I bet there are a few new Names about… I will have to have a look.

How are my old trusty Satch friends????? Still about????.... I bet you are……

How cool is Chickenfoot, They well and truly Rock…..

SATRIANI…… Good meeting in London, hope you are well?

Hope You Are All Well…..

Take Care and Talk Soon, Dave (NJ)

The internet tells me Galen's birthday is July 24, so I think we're a bit early there.

BUT...today is my brother Andrew's 19th birthday. He's flying down to LA with my dad for the day...among other things, we'll be eating pizza at the Rainbow Bar & Grill, buying CDs at Amoeba, and seeing Lacuna Coil at the House Of Blues on Sunset. Should be fun...

scubadaz - Orange juice, really? I've never heard of that as a hangover cure, but I've also never been drunk enough to be hungover later on...haha.
Skippygirl - Thanks for the note...I'll reply tomorrow, hopefully.
satrinicious - I found Additional Creations on Ebay for under $10 shortly after it was released. It now goes for closer to $100...crazy. I've since had my copy autographed by Joe and Jeff, and it's now my favorite piece of Satch stuff.

I've actually only been going to Satch gigs since 2000, so I've been pretty busy in that period of time. The only tour leg I've missed since then is the "An Evening With..." for Strange Beautiful Music, but I saw an earlier show on that tour (coheadlining with Dream Theater).

Luck and location have a lot to do with me being able to see a lot of shows. My parents live in Northern California and I live in Southern California, so I'm often able to see shows in both areas on the same tour. And when Joe does 2-3 shows in SoCal and 2 in San Francisco on the same tour leg, well, things add up pretty quickly.

Pip Satrini - Broken link! ;-)
njbeast - We're still about...welcome back!

...Austin...

Joe, I've found on the net the live cd of the terrific concert in Italy (Genova) with Deep Purple in 93. I was there !!! Listening at the music you played you were fantastic. Unique, better than Ritchie. Yuor Satch Boogie was impressive. Why did you stop playing with them? Too binded in Ritchie's solos? Lack of new horizons? Or...may be you shadowed all of them? There are parts where you reallly towered them..... All the best. Ps: Now I live in spain. When Chickenfoot will be back over here? Concert canceled was a very bad news..... All the best. Luca

Good Afternoon Satchland..... How R U Peeps?

Man, It's ben' a long time since I've ben' hear.

What's new in Satchland?

Guitar Center's King Of The Blues Contest is back.... I'm thinking of entering.... Your thoughts?????

Our son AAron moved out. We're empty nesters now and it SUCKS !!!! We walk up the stairs every night to go to bed and ......no boys. How do you not think about your kids when they've ben' right next to you for over 20 yrs.? It's tuff.... Real tuff. But hey we're very proud of the both of them and we have a great relationship with them. I'm very proud of that.

Band Update: This band is on fire. We were on Blog Talk Radio a couple weeks ago hosted by a couple of local Rockers from the late 70's early 80's. Anyone remember Dirty Dan Buck and The Boyzz? Dan hosted the show with Mongo Man ,and It's prerecorded so you can catch it hear Look for Max Cady Band.

Have A Great Day Everyone ..........

Austin- I agree with everything you said...hopefully during this break they can evaluate the promotional scheme and revise it.....so many out there dont know and theyve been waiting a long time for it! Im getting a little disappointed that still people havent heard of them..though being out for 3 mos. isnt a long time...ive said this befor but it will take the second album to really capture attention.....and if any album deserve nominations this year...its this one..if theres anything fair about it! .... I have seen ads popping up on my screen for the Beacon Show many times w/ google ads...smart ass google..lol.....

you missed "An Evening with"??? Man, Joe played 3 hours straight. The best Joe Satch show of the ones ive seen...But if you were at LISF..well that must have been almost as awesome...lol

hawkguy- Dokken has been a favorite of mine since the 80's...seen them a few years ago and Don still rocked...but itss mainly about Lynch, of course..Reuniting old band is the in thing...i would be ecstatic to hear Dokken Reunion!

Jeff Beck gig has been fantastic !
Covers of A Day in the Live, or Peter Gun (remember Emerson Lake and Palmer) and many classics from Beck (Cause we've ended as Lovers, Nadia, Beck's Bolero..)
The man is very shy, but warmed up after the third or fourth piece, and kept flowing until the end.
No surprise about the quality of Beck or Vinnie Colaiuta, but I was taken aback by the performance of a young girl playing bass. Her name, Tal Wilkenfeld, Never heard about her so far..but she's absolutely fantastic, what a player !

Zen, you told me nothing about her !!!

Frankly, too many incentives, nobody should miss a tour like that
